i’m glad you recommended royobi! people always talk big about dewalt tools, but i’ve noticed that my ryobi batteries are way cheaper, and last longer (for the same volts) as dewalt. i’d only spring for dewalt when it comes to stationary tools.

If you are looking to save money, it's rigid. I had two Ryobi motors burn out on me in one job cutting through a 6x6. You pay more for a brand like DeWalt because it's contractor grad tools (and trust me they are) but diy stuff rigid is great, I wouldn't touch Ryobi, they break and burn out like as if they were meant to.

@@zachpalmero1356 I'd have to agree with you on this subject. Ridgid is some serious tool for the money and just a little bit more than ryobi. The shop vacuum is unmatched in my experience.

Dewalt would maybe be good if you use the tools everyday at a workplace. But royobi is great for homework.

makita, and Milwaukee are for professional carpenters. Ryobi is for homeowners. Dewalt fills that gap.

My dad has ryobi in 6-7 years he went through 6 batteries. Rigid is much better for slightly more.

I’d replace the sander with a multi tool.

For a diy person that isn’t working on a job site without power I would get mostly corded tools except the drill and driver. Cordless sanders are annoyingly bulky and cordless circular saws lack power until you spend big money on pro saws

You forgot the multi tool… arguably the 2nd or 1st most versatile tool anyone can own… grinder still takes the top spot for me

How much did the Ryobi paid you lol

Their brad nailer is pretty competitive. Wouldn't touch the circ saw at all though. Drills are going to be drills unless you need SDS capabilities.

Drill and grinder should stand in your house. That is the basic tools like rice cooker for your home.

Horrible tool brand to promote. So underpowered. Just do yourself a favour if you’re a serious DIYer and buy Makita. The only decent tool ryobi has is the bug zapper.
