perfect shot on nataruk has slight aoe on the arrow, nothing worth trying to use against slightly spread out groups of enemies, but if you use something like zephyr's tornadoes or airburst you can effectively shoot the tornado and aoe all of the enemies in it, as for airburst it might miss a few if its a bigger group but it'll hit most of them nonetheless
Dude, I’ve only been playing the game about a month and put together Baruuk Prime yesterday. This is the first time I feel immortal in this game, even with a bad build. Better mods just seem like overkill with him.

@@__aditya_. 😂🤣 ah, yes sorry. it was meant as a joke, but kind of not a joke at all. baruuk literally punches things into oblivion, doing more damage than a lot of guns could ever hope to. therefore "baruuk _is_ my primary weapon" isnt an entirely false statement.
I do think that in steel path levels it VERY quickly falls off. Overall doesn’t feel like a truck when you feel the power of Felarx or the aoe power of bramma and Kuva zarr
Personally, I would recommend the Cedo and the Kuva Zarr as both are extremely versatile. This especially applies to the Cedo as it can prime enemies for condition overload even if you only have one bullet left.
Tip for that Nataruk build. Replace Speed Trigger with Primed Shred (once you reach login day 200 and obtain it). The draw speed will be _slightly_ slower, but you gain penetration of common terrain blockers (like the railings Grineer love to take cover behind, for example).
also helps to pierce thru shields and bubbles. I still prefer Cinta over nataruk, nearly same stats and bigger aoe for crowds and better charge shot for single target, plus it pairs much better with longbow sharpshot
Phenmor and Felarx...by and large there's these two, and then there's everything else. That's not to say that there aren't some niche scenarios where I'd use a different primary, and it would be as good or even better, but those are outliers. Also, sometimes its fun to use other primary weapons even if they don't kill as efficiently.
When it comes to phantasma's ammo economy, it's worth considering a primary ammo scavenger aura. Since the ammo changes- rifle, shotgun and sniper scavenger all just increase primary ammo pickup by 150% which is huge for weapons that struggle with pickups. It also increases mutated ammo value by 150%.
I do love playing nidus with hunter adrenaline and the bubonico as a primary weapon. not because it is strong (even if the bubonico can actually clear a pretty large amount of mobs) but cuz you dont have to do shit, you have a lot of self-sufficiency, you dont have to pick orb for energy just getting hit or hit with ur 1st ability give you energy, you have self healing + an healing ability. You have 2 control ability (if you dont believe in corpus zero they can't exist) wich is perfect for the bubonico which an arms cannon like the shedu. It can cast big explosion to clean area or shot multiple projectile that can deal a good amount of damamge. Also due to its arms cannon nature, you don't need amo, it self reaload and have infinit amo. So basicly with this build you don't need energy or health orb and amo and you have good control with a weapon that can clean a large area
Nataruk is really good for players who don't have something op yet, but to be fair, it won't see much play after Incarnon weapons are added to a player's inventory. Phenmor is definately op, I use it with Revenant to clear SP missions, and my Riven actually turned it into a flat damage killer (negative crit chance, 0.3% final stat), and if anyone wants to solo Archons but doesn't like Phelarx or Hek, go for it and use Radiation and extremely high fire rate (no Galv. Apptitude here, Archons are immune to status damage as far as I remember). As for Phantasma, I am not against it, I just don't prefer it, there are many weapons that could tie with it, depending on the Frame build of course (Arcane Rise makes any short magazine primary to shine, accompanied with Xata's Whisper or Roar especially)
me sitting on a god phenmor riven (- 4,7% crit chance final stat) got after 16 rolls, one shotting everything in existence but wanting more so I use Gauss redline so I can oneshot enemies in different universes
How to describe the phenmor. "it go brr" Simple. I haven't met anything that thing doesn't chew through. Maybe Archons because of the damage attenuation they have.
Phenmor destroys archons, if you don't mod it for high damage. That's the trick. Headshot with Ivara and low damage output phenmor is a cheese build. Combined with madurai, yea, it still owns any Archon.
An underappreciated weapon: amprex It's not the strongest weapon, but easy to obtain and can deal with large waves of enemies. Combined with volt and augments it's nice to sprint through missions
Idk man, no argument that it's decent but I've got a pretty great riven to go with it (plus 66.2% multishot, 98.8% crit damage, +2 punchthrough and +57% weapon recoil) and it's still pretty much a sidegrade to my rivenless ignis wraith which is obviously a much cheaper build. Ever since they buffed heat procs (which in turn made viral/heat objectively better than corrosive unless you prime your targets) Amprex has been on the loosing end of the comparison. I think the Amprex's biggest problem is that it's an uncomfortable middleground: - It's not as comfortable clearing low-level mobs as something like the Ignis and by the time you get to a level where it's better/where you need better than the Ignis, you have access to stronger weapons. - Its AoE is laughable compared to dedicated AoE weapons and its single target damage is low compared to dedicated single target weapons - to the point that in high level missions by the time you've downed your main target, someone with a good single target weapon would've killed not only the main target, but any others your beam could chain to. - It's not strong enough to be even comparable to meta weapons, but it's strong enough DE are unlikely to buff it and too popular from the old days to get a high riven dispo. I still use it every now and then because it's a freaking lightning gun, but I wouldn't recommend it to people who are struggling for slots. And no I'm not just saying this so fewer people use it and my riven gets stronger which will give me a reason to use it more... Okay maybe it's slightly that but legit I'd recommend Ignis over Amprex in its current state.
Use the Dread with Zephyr and shoot through 2 of your Tornadoes while airborne against 195 SP enemies (turns Dread into an AOE weapon). Dread has an inherent 50% Crit chance, and Zephyr gets 150% Crit Chance with weapons while airborne. You _know_ what mods to use.
I'm surprised none of the kitguns were mentioned, sporelacer is crazy when modded well and with a riven the damage is absurd, and verminsplicer is a great crowd clearer for nearly everything under level 200
Also, ANYTHING is good with a riven, seriously, people need to STOP going "well this is becomes so good if you have a riven" when talking about this topic because it doesnt help anybody.
@@Mephistofeles I mean, you say that, but not even the best god-tier riven could make the Stug's super low base stats and poor handling competitive with a rivenless Kuva Nukor. There are however a lot of mid-tier weapons that are perfectly functional and even have a use-case against meta weapons once their stats are buffed by a good riven - which is the whole point of rivens. Knowing a weapon is 'good if you have a riven' is actually useful because it lets you know it's not gonna be great straight out of the packaging unlike most meta weapons, but it's worth investing into if you like using it. Also, there are a few standard weapons that are better than (or at least comparable with) their upgrade if you have the right riven. For example, if you a great riven for the Kohm, you don't really need the Kuva varient because the regular Kohm has 50% higher base damage, better slash dispo, a slightly larger magazine, larger ammo reserve, better damage fallof at range and a higher riven dispo. If your riven boosts fire rate, crit & status chance both weapons will perform very similarly with the regular version handling slightly better.
Kuva Ogris is so damn overlooked, it has an augment mod that leaves flames around the AoE for multiple seconds which damage scales from arcanes. I dont understand why i never see it used in steel path, its insanely good.😊
As an Ogris fan (after 270 rolls on my first Riven and one I bought today for my second Ogris) I will reply to all of you, by saying that Ogris is really good indeed, you just have to be careful with the element you want it to have, cause it can set you up really hard if you do wrong choices. For SP though you need to use it mainly in Survivals, the more enemies it sees the better it gets, otherwise the conditionals have a hard time to stack (mostly vs Grineer). Outside SP the weapon shines on Frames that can use it, I use it with Revenant. Also Napalm is not mandatory, my first Ogris is more of a flat damage, it likes Galv Aptitude and big numbers (Toxin element), while the second which has Heat proved to be a Napalm killer, Aptitude is not necessary here, since they don't work together. Even the pure Heat config can be used at SP Circulus, but the mix of Viral+ some critical stats from the Riven made some interesting builds, it's like having and extra damage every 3-4 shots (on the critical build). This build also made me happy because it is a Status/Critical hybrid that managed to work in Archon missions (not vs the boss of course, Phenmor with Roar did the job). One last thing: Roar or Xata's Whisper on Ogris, it needs them.
u dont see it often is cuz its very useless in steel path and so its insanely bad in steelpath even with endgame set up but dont get me wrong cuz i tried it myself and there are far more of a best choice than Ogris its only good if in non steelpath missions but after the AOE ammo update it gone even worse cuz it does not deal as much damage as Kuva Bramma or Kuva Zarr
Ok so a few things here 1 why do viral heat and go off natural bleeds 2 you would be better of with merciless and not deadhead for hopefully obvious reasons
Kinda depends on your game mode and if you play with others. Imo, deadhead is easier to keep going because it has a longer timer and you get more damage per stack. If you play with a group and play something like Disruption, imo it is hard to keep your merciless stacks going due to the running around hunting demo's and placing keys. Also, if your squad members use killframes or use Aoe weapons, it is harder for you to kill with ur felarx, phenmor or other none Aoe weapon due to all enemies being dead all the time, hence merciless being harder to keep up. I find merciless handy for its reload speed buff, but damn can it be annoying to keep stacks going.
@@miel307 yeah but it's mainly cus its a bleed build and hence bleeds can't hit the head deadhead is little hard to start stacking unless it's gas and electric which are the only dots that can hit heads

@@stephenjohnston6292 it's still fun being able to rapid fire a bow like its a supra vandal or something. it's the only bow i know of that can be spam fired and still be viable in steel path. quick shot can one shot enemies if you build it right. plus doing a rapid fire build synergizes well with the bow's unlimited ammo pool.
On arca plasmor I think magnetic is better, it will be able to cover every enemy with the right build and with galvanized mods can 1 shot level 100s with max stack and I don’t even have max mods and only 1 prime mod.
Yeah his arca build was very lackluster. Brozime had a very good build that I use and it makes the gun function as a hallway delete button with all the galvanized mods
@@Baked_Banana42 doesn’t toxin give you an extra mod space tho? With magnetic you will have to mod toxin and cold (unless you have a riven but a riven for viral is a waste). My current build is the same as in the video except I’ve replaced Tacitcal Pump with Primed Ravage (yeah idk why ravage is the mod he’s replacing) and Idk what mod you would take out from the build in place of a toxin mod
@Le Rosallyn Inate magnetic from the sister progenitor by using someone like harrow. Let's you get viral, heat, magnetic and radiation all at once which stacks wonderfully with galvanized savy so you'll just delete anything with a few status effects on it. Not only this but inate magnetic makes steel path shielded enemies almost a total joke as their shields instantly take massive extra damage from your shots.
My personal Top 5 in no particular Order are: - Felarx - Cedo - Strun Prime Incarnon - Latron Prime Incarnon - Trumna But there are truly alot more weapon i would love to fit in a top 5 List. I‘ve just not gotten my hands on most of the sisters and liches weapons and instead focused more on incarnons because i really like the playstyle of incarnon guns. My honorable mentions to also fit in the top 5s would be: - Phenmor Incarnon - Stahlta - Bubonico - Phantasma - Acceltra - Boar Incarnon Yes i really like shotguns lol
Imo, an Internal Bleeding/Quickshot build has better capabilities in terms of doing Slash damage. The Perfect Shot build is great for raw Corrosive/Viral damage, but Hunter Munitions Perfect Shot just doesn't feel that great compared to Internal Bleeding, especially because you can stack so many more procs with Quick Shot. (Also Primed Shred is better if you have it.) (Also I appreciate the fact that you don't use Rivens.)
My top 5 is the sporlaser secondary kills everything, vermasplicer primary so many crits, Tenet Envoy my favourite rocket lurcher holster reload and great aoe, Bubonico shotgun to the faces no amo no problem, primer and death dealer, Also the tenant arca plasmor Zeffer and mag pure beast with this gun
I think you just mirrored my own approach, once you got the phenmor, felark and tenet plasmor.. There's simply no stopping you.. Also I quite love the kuva tonkor with radioactive proc 😎
honestly, if you're a new player coming here looking for whatever the meta is, the truth is nearly any weapon can be viable up to levels 150+ just find something you love using, and then excel its stats with mods and then bring it to 'endgame' with a riven mod. I always loved the Boltor, but people said it would never be viable endgame, and now i have a god roll riven on it and im rolling the steel path with it. Don't listen to these guides unless you're planning on doing level 200+ endurance runs or something.
for me its a bit of mix cuz my best of the best weapons are Phenmor / DPS Viral Heat Tenet Cycron with Cascadia Flare / Tenet Arca Plasmor / Kuva Bramma / DPS Kuva Nukor with Cascadia Flare or Cascadia Empowered / Bubonico but my favorite is Phenmor and DPS tenet Cycron and without any damage buff abilities these 2 can delete a whole crowd of enemies (below level 400) in seconds and i made my Cycron far stronger than phantasma
you also forgot about another pro of the bow it has infinite ammo like literally you can fire arrows forever also i dont use speed trigger at all and its still fast but not as fast as it can be with the mod and my build is total opposite than what you have cept for like 3 mods and i dont have that deadhead arcane so im stuck with something else. but its an amazing bow for end game which i agree with you on this list for it.
I wish there was a gameplay preview in the Warframe ui when looking at weapons. Sucks having to look up weapons on youtube to get a better idea of their fire styles
I returned after many years of not playing, and all my equipment feels dated. I'm still making my way through new stuff and haven't gotten to Steel Path, but what do you think of the Bubonico? I'm really liking it so far, but maybe it won't be a good investment 😢
@@Sieghiro it’s “more free” build wise cause you can either put one electric mod for corrosive dmg shotgun plus viral/electric priming + cc with your bomblets, or just one cold mod for viral slash shotgun plus viral/cold priming (cold is rly insane for survivability and it’s underused cause viral takes up cold but bubonico let’s you have two in one!) Rly fun weapon that can self prime so go for it!!

Glaive Prime is my favorite primary lol- I use it like a primary with a Cedo as my secondary/ primer... Actually, the Cedo must be really good too because mine is heavily modded for high status (viral, rad, + innate blast & H.C.E.T.) but it kills over lvl 200 fairly easily, and with buffs or armor strip it's glaive alone can clear out a packed hallway leaving just a few Eximus stragglers.
@@methanoI Yea. Glaive Prime is strong enough to do most things in the game alone, it's rapidly + infinity spamable, and I "shoot" it more than all my other weapons combined... So it's my primary weapon. I only occasionally shoot the Cedo (as a primer) when things get tough, so that's my secondary.
The thing that really annoys me about the Incarnon weapons is their last evolution. You need to have three of the bloody things to evolve any of them to the last rank. And the crafting requirements mean you either gotta get your rep with the Holdfast up to Rank 4 (which takes ages) to get the Praedos or spend an unholy amount of time farming Entrati Lantorns.
Eh Lanthorn farm was quite a breeze with Smeeta giving rare resource buff. What felt like shit to farm were the Voidplumes, especially Pinions as you only get 1 per run.
Assuming you are set up fairly well, a xaku box breaker build (max range, decent efficiency) can make farming super easy. Bonus points for helminthing on pull from mag w/ greedy pull augment (pulls loot through walls)
I got a tenet arca plasmor at 59% toxic, I main Mag and the sister would one shot me no matter how I built my mag. I end up have to switch to using valkyr to take her down with cheering by using a rubico the triggering invulnerability and rushing in to get the assassinations. But worth it.
My top 5 favorite primaries... 1. Braton 2. Hek 3. Boar 4. Optical vandal 5. Arca plasmor (They're not the strongest, but the most fun, multiple potatoes, challenges your skills as a player) Same for secondaries and melee... 1. Skana 2. Machete 3. Dual cleavers 4. Nikana 5. Ack and brunt 1. Kraken 2. Lato 3. Detron 4. Brakk 5. Kulstar ...I run with rhino, the arca plasmor, Machete and kulstar, constantly!
