I’m pretty far from where I use to be because the video I had before this was the old me. Not the military disciplined version so I scaled it down much. But I just found an opportunity to turn something positive into a negative and educate a few people on tips for doing photoshoots and we keep it pushing. Just wait for the next video in a few days
Bro, I always appreciate the information,you are one of my goats on my Mount Rushmore of photographers, sometimes haters are going to hate but you know when they comment on you like that you must be killing it, so double down on them and if that fool doesn’t have a black dish or a white dish or any other dish Then he needs to zip it😂
A lot of folks excel at the technical aspects of photography, lighting, and editing but struggle with the creativity and pose directing. I’ve always admired your ability to direct the model into a fantastic pose while also creating a great composition. Just remember when you put yourself out there , and come out with your own amazing product you open yourself up to criticism and people will put you in their crosshairs. Don’t get rattled, stay calm and do your thing. Also why didn’t I think of the black dish? it’s like on the opposite spectrum of using a silver lined softbox, brilliant!

For years all you do is be the bigger person, turn the cheek. After hearing so much it’s sometimes best to just set the record straight and let people know. I might be on RU-vid and a photographer but don’t take this social media thing as a weakness. I’m not like these other photographers. I come with character and I will go in on you. Wow, you allowed yourself to be triggered by someone else's opinion of your product. Last time I checked (watching your videos) you have bashed the Nikon Z9. Isn't Nikon cameras a form of a product? If they are free game so is your product 🤷🏾♂️ I thought you were bigger than that. Plus, in my opinion you are putting your model in the middle of your situation. It's not fair to your model. She should not have to be a part of your rant that is driven by pure anger. See I structure MY channel how I want it. It’s part of me and my brand and that’s why people follow me. you as a business owner selling products and services in commerce should be very concerned about how you communicate with your audience. you shouldn't be concerned about what other people say about your product. so long as your product checks the box that its intended to check LET THEM SAY WHAT THEY WANT... from a market perspective you cannot be the angry salesman brother.... good luck going forward...
I tried to make this point on another one of his videos. As great his work is, his marketing needs help badly. When you're trying to sell products, people want to connect with the person who's selling it. I pray he hires a marketing team because trying to bulldoze your way into sales won't cut it. You can't continue to be over aggressive with your audience, especially when you haven't fully established your brand yet. This video was slightly off-putting because the 5 tips got lost in the rant.
@@ks_portraits there should be a buffer, Strategist or Brand Steward between he and his consumers. shouldn't even be talking directly to certain people. but like I have to educate my clients when they become sophomoric's in the business of buying and selling. you're gonna find out the hard way because "the consumer has the last say in the business of buying and selling"
From where I stand, my position in the photography community, as a RU-vidr and influencer I’m not concerned. It’s ok to speak out and say what you wanna say and turn negatives into positives and use that energy to help someone else. I’m not concerned if a few people don’t support me because of how I speak or the truth I speak. I’ll never be silent fam. Im always real and that’s why people support and follow because I’m not fake and I won’t be. Now trust me, owning a business, growth and all that, trust me I know that stuff already. But my character my personality is also my brand. And my uniqueness and ability to communicate the truth to this community unlike others is my direction as well . Man....I had a big ass smile on my face with your intro. I truly believe that if a photographer criticizes another photographer, then the one criticizing work should be better or on par with the one being criticized. People can't expect you to take the high road all the time.
I definitely agree with you statement. However, that photographer he is referring to never once criticized his work. He had an opinion regarding the black beauty dish. Everyone will have an opinion about something, but he NEVER once criticized B's work. It pretty much speaks for itself, which is the reason why I feel he didn't have to make this video about that photographer. Just my opinion.

Well, I saw the video about the black dish and they showed the test on it and it seems like the black dish isn’t a great product and the way that you described it but at the same time you don’t have to be an Oscar winner actor to know when you see, bad acting. Now, if you’re looking to quiet the haters and I guess you need to always use your black dish product for all your photo shoots to prove that it is the perfect/flawless product that you imply that it is
Well first of all every photoshoot u hsve done is with the Blackdish. It’s selling great and people are starting to see and understand why it is soo good. I don’t need to quiet anyone just check my work. Let your work and the results speak for you

Since you’re giving tips, I’m going to suggest you start looking at professional models and pay attention to the leg position. Her pose with the left leg is bad and not flattering. Try avoiding coming off as a know it all when basic posing you’re struggling with.
So I’m gonna keep this professional but as you can see this was not meant for a big photoshoot just as a demonstration. Posing is one of my expert areas if you’ve watched any of my other videos. Nobody on youtube comes of as a know if all . We come off as educators and influencers who use our knowledge to teach. That’s why people come. And I struggled with posing?? Me? Im just gonna keep it moving
