If you want to be a good programmer, learn atleast 5 languages. Start with C/C++ first as this will help you learn the concepts of programming before learning higher level languages. Then go for Python and Java. Then pick up one functional programming language like Lisp or Haskell. These 5 will make you a better programmer as you will have a knowledge of most coding paradigms. Then you can start with a domain specific language like PHP or Swift, etc. My list is (as an automotive, embedded developer and a machine learner): 1) C 2) Python 3) C++ 4) Java 5) MATLAB 6) Lua 7) Haskell 8) Javascript

Hello Sir, I really like the way you teach. I am interested to learn Python course from you. But I am little confused and have the below few questions, I need you to help me with these questions. I understand your busy schedules but I think the answers from you for my questions will help at least few people like me. I had done some research about this Python course but there are some good and bad feedback (I mean everybody have their own opinions,which we can't deny) Before going to my questions, let me tell you I don't have any kind of knowledge in programming or any scripting language. I am into pre- sales. Q1 : What is supporting language that we should know before learning Python. (ex: C, C++, Linux, and Computer Science etc..) Q2 : Once after learning Python would that be sufficient to get a job in the companies or do we need to learn any other supporting languages. Q3 : Does Python programmers has career in future. hey hitesh, I think you should put Java at 3rd and swift at 4th....the reason is Java is used to develop web apps, Android apps, desktop applications using applets , we can develop web services by using and we all know the importance of web services in today's programming world. about swift ,. it is language used by apple to develop their apps.
