I like the details, thanks... I'll choose Python as it's easy to learn and I won't quit within 5 lessons :D

I'm learning JAVA right now as my first language because I heard all the big companies(google, amazon, apple etc) uses it but you're making me rethink it now. ... I don't want to make the wrong choice.🤔

Hey, learning Java is a solid choice, especially as a first language! It's widely used by major companies for everything from web applications to Android apps, making it a versatile and in-demand skill. While it may not have made our top 5 list this year, its widespread use in the industry ensures it remains a valuable language to know. Keep going with Java 💪

You can also switch to C# which has really exploded in popularity and people like to work with more than Java (for the most part). But Java is a fine language to start with

My first lang was java too. You change your mind because a youtuber didn't mention it on his list? 😂 you need better research and criteria on choosing which one to learn. Java is one of the best, not going anywhere soon. You can't go wrong with it, but choose what is trending in your area/market so you can find job with it. Big companies don't stick to single language, they all use all top 5 languages simultaneously.

Perhaps someone can clarify, how can Rust be so great for avoiding issues when it has such a complex learning curve? Thank you.

Hey, Rust helps prevent programming mistakes by using rules that manage memory very carefully, which can be hard to learn at first. But once you get it, these rules make your programs less likely to have errors or security problems. Hope this helps 😊

Ummmmm... everything written for the cloud is written in Go (golang) - Docker, Kubernetes, Uber, etc, etc, etc,. He is right about learning one language fist. Subsequent languages will be easy to pick up.

i think you should pick language for tasks, not lang and find tasks for it. I really appreciate Rust, but now i have no free time for it , and hard working with python and devops skills (

@@tusharm.8161 java tools like jvm wont gonna die but bro it is the truth java is over verbose and it is not a practical language. Kotlin is here it uses jvm too.

Hey! While Java's verbosity is often debated, it remains a cornerstone in technology, continually evolving. Its detailed syntax, though seen as verbose by some, plays a crucial role in certain environments and projects. The choice between Java and other languages really comes down to specific project requirements and developer preferences 😊

While Golang didn't make it to our top 5 list, it's unquestionably a significant language to learn in 2024. Its simplicity, efficiency, and strong support for concurrent programming make it ideal for modern web development, cloud services, and distributed systems. Hope this helps 😊
