Hey everyone! Due to popular demand from the ZTM community and the programming community at large, we've decided to open-source the data so that anyone can do their own data analysis as well. ➡ Access the full ZTM State of AI 2023 data set here: github.com/zero-to-mastery/state-of-ai-tools Feel free to reference it and use the data (we just appreciate if you cite us 🙂). And if you come up with any interesting findings that we missed, definitely let us know!
12:52 - I believe that next year, AI will be used more in web development by everyone (more adoption more job descriptions requiring experience with AI, more frequent usage, less concerns about it) more bosses asking to use AI, although whether people believe AI will replace programmers could stay the same. I would be interested in you open sourcing the data so I can do my own analysis, but I do not really have time for that now at the moment - maybe in the future I could consider doing so.
8:00 I think the salary data correlates more to age (and more importantly experience); Based on the earlier graph on "Weekly AI Tool Usage by User Age Range" the younger audience is using it A LOT more... and I would think that their salary more corrleates with the experience they have vice the use of AI tools. Great data insights btw!
I totally understand where you are coming from! Although 85% of techies who filled out this survey believe that AI will not replace them, it is still a huge concern! My biggest recommendation for dealing with AI anxiety is to learn how to work with all these technologies and tools. As it will give you the best chances in the future 😊
Great Question! Yes, AI can significantly enhance a resume by optimizing the word choice, tailoring it to specific job descriptions, and ensuring it passes through Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) effectively. Hope this helps
