We are a military family and have lived in various locations, and I have spent the last 9 years in San Francisco. I have never felt this way about a place before-I genuinely love it here. Colorado has everything I grew up with in San Francisco and I thoroughly enjoy the vibrant culture it offers here.

I've lived out here for 2 years now. I'm from Louisiana. I do miss home but it is very beautiful here. When I look at the mountains I always say wow so beautiful. Looks like a painting. The snow is not as bad as I thought it would be. I try to stay inside if I can help it. The sun is so much worse out here than in Louisiana. Yes, it's hotter in Louisiana but I got sunburn for the first time out here in Colorado Springs. The sun feels like it's right next to you out here. It's more expensive out here but the pay is far better out here as well. In Louisiana, the most I made was $9.50 an hour. Here, the least I've made is $20.00 hourly. I was hesitant to make the move from Louisiana to Colorado but I'm glad I did.

i'm from florida and considering moving to colorado springs since ive spent a lot of time in CO and loved it, but the home prices are expensive for what you get....florida is pretty expensive itself but still cheaper than CO so if i sell my house i'll be downgrading...but I guess that's the price you pay for the natural beauty. it really is one of the most beautiful in the country in terms of natural setting.

😂I'm grew up in PHX. The sun shines at night here. Everyone gets their own little sun that sits on your shoulder and cooks your Cerebrum. I feel like I live in a convection oven stuck on self clean. If Springs were a snow globe. PHX would be a light bulb. One more, PHX isn't actually a valley.... it's a fkn hole. I'm considering Colorado so I'm looking, thanks for the info.

Thanks guys! Speaking of snow-how many inches are we talking and are the roads plowed regularly? And what’s the drug scene since it’s legal? Crime?
@BorisPecker
Gas is $6 here in California and it’s like $2,000 for a tiny Studio apartment. Sooooooooo

Psycho drivers running over pedestrians...is a con.

Colorado Springs doesn't have a culture...if you go to Denver or Pueblo, you know you are in Colorado. If it weren't for those mountains you might as well be in Kansas or Iowa

Most cities get progressively worse as they grow, slowly stripping man of his relationship with nature. The springs has been able to mostly avoid this trend because of its far from average natural surroundings. However, it is now clearly becoming a mini Denver with all the insane progressive baggage that comes with it, (i,e, marijuana and drug use everywhere, followed by the spread mental illness and homelessness, followed by woke transgenderism and people dying their hair poisonous colors, followed by rising property taxes with deteriorating public schools and infrastructure)😂

Corny dudes.

I moved here 6 weeks ago and that’s 6 weeks too long. Hate it a ton
