Excellent mod choices ! Im using the custom dino level mod and its absolutely worth the download. Youre absolutely right, its a nice balance of high, mid and low level dinos leaning more on the mid to high side.
Love upgrade station used it on my last server the only overtuned item is maybe the salvage station since the grinder does the same thing but I just don’t use it and wait for the grinder
I'm not sure if it got changed for AsA, but Upgrade Station mod was SUPER exploitable in AsE. And not even because of the upgrade station itself, but because of the blueprint station craft loop, where you can cap out damage for weapons and defense for armor at primitive level.
I'm not sure either. I played with it for years and never heard of that, but I'm not surprised. If someone wants to find an exploit enough, they'll find it no matter what.
I'm having a problem with the salvage station, I had a friend helping me set it up at 50-75% recovery from the salvage but I don't know what I did and now it's set to 35% recovery, hoy can I change it back?
Dino Depot is my favorite. I love that when you toss out a dino it lands right where you aim, an not bounce an end up elsewhere. I've only have trouble with the passive gen when dinos are in the depot it's self. Any ideas I've not unclicked an left it as it was when set out. An even tried clicking each like paste. But nothing over time is made an yes I have power to it.
None of these mods are Quality of Life. They are gfi console commands with extra steps. I'm sure people will say "but all these cost resources", sure, but you gonna tell me you are using these mods and dont have rates boosted? If you are going to go this far, just enable creative mode and cut out the middle man.
What do you define as a QoL mod for ARK? I’m just curious as to what defines QoL in this case, as I don’t see how the OCD vault and auto pulling resources into the forge/vaults is something you can just do with gfi commands, I guess you could spawn in tek storage or something? But having a forge that crafts faster, a bin that spoils meat instantly (though you can just use a toilet for that 🫡) and a combined smithy/fabricator don’t seem like things you can spawn in
@@albytross8681 QoL+ would be the most "balanced" QoL mod IMO, but even that has some features I would disable like the mutator. I don't even wholly object to the dino level mod, but yes, would use one of the more "middle" settings. But being able to dupe any item by being able to turn it immediately into a BP, being able to upgrade any item or saddle, remove all penalty of death are all just making the game incredibly shallow by removing your need to interact with huge parts of it. And hey, if you want to play that way, fine... but again, why not just use creative mode if you just want to skip playing the actual game?
