Thanks, my friend. Looking at purchasing my first marker. Leaning towards the Stormer Elite for the dual feed option but mcsus.com has some variants of it that are oh so appealing. Any recommendations on a good entry lvl speedball marker?
@@theJStrick54 well, it all was said before. Mini Gs, or if you are bigger hand guy, etha 2. Its good to test them. Go to some store or even on field. Sure someone let you try out.
I just got a whole setup with an Etha3 electric, I’m basically a beginner. The Lone Wolf videos have been a big help for me personally. I have a lot to learn and I love that! Just learning is fun! Also to the original commenter…you have such a great attitude dude!! I’ve had some problems when I talk in person with other players for some reason. Just some serious “gatekeeping” attitudes. Like they don’t want any new players or something. LOL. I wish all experienced players were as welcoming as you. I appreciate that!
This was really helpful for me being a beginner with no experience except for rentals. I wish there were more videos like this to help with tanks and other videos
if you have a "home field" or like to head to the wood with a bunch of friend to play a few game for fun, CO2 is still a great choice. The yield of shot per fill is still great with a tippmann gun. You can grab a few 24oz and tippmann chronus for the price a a good gun and on one fill you'll be able to play all day. That being said, if you play on a real commercial field GET AIR!!!
one thing i feel needs to be mentioned and isnt said here is if you run CO2 with a remote line it will warm up to ambient temps in the line and wont freeze the solenoid but it does have particulates in it that can still be potentially harmful to e-markers thats why its being phased out
Thanks for the video I was having such a hard time trying to figure out the difference between 68/4500 and 45/4500 pretty simple lol but now I don’t have to guess lol
Personally I'd like to see a video going over the different style of tank regulators themselves. Aluminum, Brass and Stainless Steel. And how those materials interact with the largely aluminum ASA's that come stock on most markers these days.
Some older CO2 tanks are made of a steel-molybdenum alloy, called chrome-molly. Cool old tanks, but they were heavy. One came with my SMG60, it never needed to be hydroed either.
i had a tipmman gryphon and a co2 tank for my first setup in 2011. lol. my gun would freeze playing in any temp under 75 and sunny. in winter i shot about 50 x before my bolt was frozen over.
I wouldn’t even want a steel tank, unless it was fully stainless. Steel rusts and high pressure + Rust can lead to a REALLY BAD DAY! Even just a standard air compressor just running it, it builds moisture. You can see it blow out of the valve on the bottom of the tank when you decompress the tank. That’s most likely why these tanks are all aluminum nowadays. Not to mention the high quality alloys like 6061 & 7075 t6 aluminum which rivals some steels in strength. It doesn’t rust either. A tank at 3000 or 4500 psi exploded is not a good thing at all! Air actually explodes, which is why they test with water and not air. Water will just spray if a tank fails, air will violently escape out a failed section creating more damage and possibly send shrapnel out at lethal speeds. So that being said, if anyone reading this has a out of date tank? PLEASE DO YOURSELF AND POSSIBLY ANYONE AROUND YOU A FAVOR AND GET YOUR TANK HYDRO TESTED, OR GET A NEW TANK. IT REALLY COULD MEAN YOUR LIFE OR SOMEONE ELSES LIFE BECAUSE OF IT. HPA is no joke. This is my PSA of the day. BTW thanks Lonewolf for the A-5 and the response trigger I just ordered from y’all, it’s a beast. Got my nephew to buy one the same day. You guys ship super fast, love it! 👍👍
Thank goodness the tank i got was an airtank...i got that while i had my TMC and then upgraded to my Mini GS....didn't know at the time that CO² would kill my Mini GS
It depends on their specific compressor they use at the park. There are 3K and 4.5K models. The 3k can only fill to 3k max, the 4.5 can fill to both 3K and 4.5K. When you compress air, it heats up and also expands, so you will lose some bottle pressure after it is filled and cools down.
Just wanted to ask how much do paintball shops charge for a very large tank, lets say those tanks that are 5 foot in height? Do they charge the same rate as small tanks? Thank you.
@@floatingbritton2150 that's odd but then again everything i need for gear is like 10 minutes away. Kinda new recently got my first marker from friends. They told me they needed the gamer girl on the field lol. Hope you have a great day
Question: how long does an HPA tank hold its air? Annual paintball outing is in the middle of nowhere and I won't have time day-of to fill. Will it slowly leak out over a day or two to the point of it being a problem come game day?
It will not leak unless something is wrong with the tanks regulator. You could fill the tank and it will stay filled well past the tanks own hydro date.
@@lorenzoblack3575 so what if I was tryna put it inside my .68 cal and shoot somebody I would have to take the tank out and then pump it up, I can't leave it full inside the gun?
@@FIREB4II home defence? I've talked to grimburg and they said they've stored air in tanks for one to 2 years with no issues. Just need to check pressure over time. I wouldn't keep it stored under pressure on a gun, that could cause premature failure.
Partially, lets say 60%? Because of two reasons... One, when you want to try your gun or whatever, you dont have to go out and get air.😅 Two, its better for the tank itself, it better preserves it
I have a question but it’s not about tanks. I have an P. E. etek2 and the barrel is stuck to the barrel tip. Did the etek2 come with a 2 piece barrel and, is it a normal thread? (By normal I mean right to tight left to loosen)
Where do i get those tank stands at? Those would be great to hold tanks while im filling them at my games vs laying them on a table and hoping they dont roll off
You didn’t answer if the output pressure would make the gun shoot harder ? For example if a marker says use max output pressure of 650psi and I use a output pressure of 500psi will the marker shoot weaker?
This may sound stupid. If you buy 4500psi bottle for the possible upgrade you want in the future, can you use it on a 3000Psi gun only if you fill the bottle to 3000?
is it possible to change the location of the fill nozzle on a ninja tank?, mine is in a terrible spot it stabs me in the wrist while shooting right handed, thx cheers guys
Ninja used to make shims that went between the reg and the asa, they're basically c-clips. It's not the best way to do it, but it is the easiest and the cheapest
Well that's silly, if a manufacturer is charging $160-400 for a tank, they should be making the gauges specific to that tanks capabilities, regardless of the connections are universal, the material for the tank doesn't cost that much to make. 🤣
I acknowledge Ninja for suficient quality but dont be saying merican quality to be something to be impressed by. I shurely am not. My XVR fell apart right out from the box. As generally chineese quality is badmouthed, they can be of superior quality as well. It is very individual what product you choose so no Americal is just as bad as my own countrys quality. Yes, do support local ! As you get the face to face interaction with the quality and can use leverage with personal relationships with manufacurer.
