Thanks for this information. I never fish Alum creek but would like to try for Saugeye at Piedmont. Do you have any good spots to give up there? What are some good trolling speeds for saugeye?
When it's cold, 55 or less I start at about 1.7 - 1.9. When it is warmer than that I start at 2.0 and go up to 2.4 or so. I fished Piedmont for the first time last summer, but I was targeting muskies.
