This is why Johnny is for the people. I agree with Richie and Tan in the fact that shoes are meant to be worn and they don’t need any accessories. But Johnny said it well. For a person that didn’t have the most money in the world, getting money and finally getting all the shoes I wanted accessories are a must. 1. I don’t want to keep buying shoes over and over again (50 pairs is too much now) 2. The prices on the shoes are very very unreasonable 3. Memories. You want to have a shoe that you’ll wear and just bring back memories, good or bad it’s still something

There’s a big difference between worn forces and BEAT forces. If they’re worn then that’s fine but if they’re beat then it’s time for a new pair

IMO about the 5 rules: 1) Its just clothes, and people who do it just tryna survive and go about their day. It does throw off the vibes but mainly for the people who care about it. I understand people can't afford a full Nike/adidas fit. When I rock a fit, I personally do not mix. 2) Sneakers are expensive these days. Treat it like anything you buy, like a car. The more care you put in, the longer they last. 3) I'm not with fakes, but I get why people do it. Again, sneakers are mad expensive. But there are alternatives usually out there 4) The crazy lacing is a no go for me. Individuality sure, but some of the methods ive seen do some crazy creasing not look comfy. 5) Fine line between beat up and worn in. Regardless, you can put some care in and clean before they are gone gone.

Nobody I mean nobody other then maybe a 10 year old will “call you out” on a pair of reps ..we all too grown and respectful sneaker heads aren’t rude to other sneakers heads 💯

Raf Stans came bar laced back in the day and tbh bar lacing just looks better on the stan smith but not the bars they showed in this vid but bars with diagonals in the back between every bar. I think even some sites show the MMM Gats bar laced but bar laces only work if it is factory

Nahhh man I love my shoes and I like to take care of them, wipe em with dry cloth every time I wear them, put leather conditioner on regular basis, the only protection I use are shields. I just hate the creases on toebox. Overall I like my shoes clean regardless for how long I own them.
