Just had my interview and it was really simple. I was just asked about whether I was still in school, what my schedule was, if I was open to also doing cleaning, and then when I could start :)
Not Taco Bell, but I was eating in a Corner Bakery, where a manager was interviewing a female applicant at a table next to me. I couldn't help but listen in: Manager: "Have you had other jobs?" Applicant: "Um, no." Manager: "Have you done any informal type of work, like babysitting on lawn mowing?" Applicant: "Um, no." Manager: "Well, have you done any volunteer work or other after-school activities?" Applicant: "Um, no." I'm thinking she blew that interview. The manager then walks somewhere in the back of the store, and comes back to the interview with another manager. They tell her she's got the job, and will start her at the cash register. I was wrong. She aced that interview. I do disagree with what you said about answering questions on why you want to work there. Don't say you want to be a franchisee, take over Taco Bell in 10 years, etc. The manager will think you're full of BS. Those are not logical answers for a high school student or community college student. Saying you live nearby is a good answer. You'll be able to get to the store quick, if called in because of a staff shortage. Just face it. Nobody is going to drive all the way across Los Angeles to work at a near minimum-wage Taco Bell job. The managers knows that. Don't make up crap like that.
I have an interview tomorrow at Taco Bell, I’m 16 and have no experience so I’m so nervous they won’t want me but I really want the job and I know I’m a kind person , wish me luck !😫💕
Jocelyn Sierra good luck !, I was nervous the whole time but the manger was actually nice and I took breaths every time I got nervous , I got the job! Let me know how u did
I have my interview in 8 minutes I will keep y’all posted🙏🤞 Update: I got the job the questions were mostly just asking what time I could work and what I wanted to do around the shop. They are pretty nice and the interview is pretty easy🙏
Everyone in comments saying it's easy but I know when I go to the interview they gonna. Ask me like 12 questions and I'm gonna be screwed I'll update if I get the job
Got it literally just asked me if I want to work in food or costomer survise and what time I can work if theres a we are hiring sighn then it's really easy to get in
I have an interview tomorrow, my first interview ever, i will update the result. Update: got the job, i was actually hired even before interview No hard questions or maybe i should say no questions. First day update: The first day was training day, i worked with a laptop so i know what to do in there
I have an interview tomorrow and I’m so nervous. I hope I get hired 😩 Update: the lady just gave me an application to fill and asked when I’m available. She said they’ll call
Regarding the available hours to work - one thing I hear a lot is managers pressuring (younger) employees to work hours that make it difficult if they are a part or full time student. The company that I overheard this at was not Taco Bell, for the record, but it's really a poor sight when you hear students being pressured to put their McJob before their own education.
It's the same with everyone..not just students. The hospitality industry in general is very unfair on its frontline staff. Although the bonus in working for a bigger corporation is they are bound by employee law more as they have more to lose as far as bad pr goes. So you can argue you case more strongly with them when have a grievance
Just had my interview yesterday and got the job. She only asked what high school I go to and if I’m 18. Also “tell me about yourself”. But it lasted like 3 min lol
i just had my interview for taco bell today! i got the job on the spot! i was really stressing out for nothing, and all she asked is "tell me about yourself" and "what is your availability?" really panicked for nothing when i studied all the questions lmaooooo
Well done on getting the job! Every interview is different - it always pays to prepare for the toughest interview and be pleasantly surprised if it turns out easy
I just want to let all you curious people know my experience and the process through applying and working at taco bell ;D --> Interview-- Yess!! You got an interview, congrats!!! The interviewing process was pretty simple for me. Basically she gave me a time to come in so I did. I went to the front counter, said my name, and asked for the manager and that I was here for an interview to the employee. He then told me to sit and wait for her to come out. Now I know you probably know not go onto your phone while waiting, correct? Well the questions that were asked were pretty simple and nothing too difficult. (I dont remember all of them I'm sorry 😂) Questions: -How do you handle change? -Give an example of a time you went out of your way to help someone in need. -Why do you want to work at taco bell? -How is taco bell "better" than other fast food restaurants. -How do you handle stress? -What is your preferable work environment. ~~Yada yada yada.. After the questions (which i said IDK to like 2 of them and I still got hired so you should be fine 😂) She then told me a day to come in on orientation... (orientation description in the comments--)
ORIENTATION!!-- Great Job!! You passed the interview!! So once you arrive to your taco bell location just tell an employee your name and that you are here for orientation. She/he will then ask you to wait. (That's what happened to me) Once you get started Make sure that you have brought 2 forms of id (Either drivers license, social security card, highschool ID, etc.) She will then ask you to fill out simple forms and papers (unless done online before with help from your parents) After that she should have you start on your lessons!! Now with taco bell they make you watch various videos daily to get all the information in as fast as possible. But for orientation she/he would most likely make you watch 2 hours of videos or so to get you started. After orientation she should give you your schedule and you'll be ready to work!! (First day of work in comments--)
First day of Work!!!-- Don't be nervous because it'll be alright!! Now for my first day of work she first put me on the line since I am training to be a Food Champion! She put me on the cashier line with a trainer. The trainer then walked me through everything on the line and told me what to do and how to do it during the session. After 3 hours of working the line I was put back to videos! And I watched videos for the remaining 2 hours. Now when you're doing the training shifts, they should only consist of 5 hours Monday-Friday. 12-5 was my shifts. Now the next days of working at taco bell should consist of the same things while watching videos and such until you finish your training!! GOOD LUCK!!! And if you have any questions just comment down below and I will answer them for you!!! ;)
I have an interview tommrow at 3pm and I’m soo excited! This is my first job and she kind of already told me on the phone that she’s looking for older people Becuase I’m only 16 and in school but I’m hoping she hires me anyway 😩 wish me luck guys ❤️
I had an interview with taco bell and I got the job. I felt nervous at first but it wasn't even that bad. They asked me personal questions like my age ect, whereas what I knew abt taco bell. That was it. I have a induction week starting on Saturday.
@@leonmartinez2975 It's really not that hard. And It depends on where they place you. I'm am on the line when it comes to making the taco etc. All I needed to learn was what to place in the taco and how to fold them And that was it. It's was pretty quick for me to catch on.
The Complete Guide to Everything sounds Exactly like Raymond Calitri from Gone in 60 Seconds. You're him aren't you? You can tell me, I'll keep your secret 😋
Svn Shinn _original the questions they asked me were tell me about yourself what would you do if a customer complained and a few other customer service based questions after the interview the interviewer thanked me for my time the interview was laid back nothing to worry about dress smart and come prepared and you will be fine :)
@@logojukes6994 It was simple they asked my availability but it wasn't like an interrogation at all but of course interviewers are different so keep in mind this video. I got the job and I hope you do too! :)
@@erictaylor3064 yes Imao. I worked there for about 2 months then quit & went somewhere else 😅 very simple though don’t stress, a lot of jobs are very desperate for workers still right now so you’ll be good and guaranteed to most likely get it for sure 🙏🏽
@@natsuyap4932 it was good! i got the job. they asked me about difficult situations and wanted me to respond with how i would handle them or give an example of one i have handled well
Update: Apparently the manager was looking for an assistant manager because they were going to open new area or something like that. And he told me that currently there was limited position for team members but told me that he will save my application and will call me back in a month or so if there's a new crew member position available. (Hopefully)
@@TheCompleteGuide1 they didn't ask me any of the questions from the video asked about my availability and what I do in college (UK) and if I have experience with people it was about 5 mins and it went good waiting to hear back now
Basically got the job I turned 16 on March 28th during corona, and couldn’t get my id I passed the interview he got my shirt size then said when you get your id you can start working.
Shook Cookie yeah I did :) they actually didn’t really ask a lot of interview questions but do recommend that you still look at these questions and try to answer them (I used notecards)
xottic the girl asked me why did I want to work at Taco Bell, what days and how many hours are you going to be working, and I honestly think that’s it really. Or maybe I forgot lol 😂 but my manager was like we really was gonna hire people that showed up for interview so she hired me right on the spot. But still I should suggest to write down some of the interview questions that the video is talking about because each Taco Bell is different
ashley rodriguez your in luck because i got the job so they ask what hours can you work, can you work nights, characteristics about yourself, how long you plan to work at Taco Bell, how are you with working under pressure, how would you deal with a rude customer, why do you want to work at Taco Bell.. etc. & I don’t think you need a permit if your 16.. but if you get the job they’ll ask you to come back in with your social security card and ID.. so if you wanna bring that with you to seem prepared that’s good.
@@leonahlove7619 It went great, I got the job. She asked me three questions, 1. Tell me about yourself. 2. Do you have any questions about the job. 3. When can you start? I've worked a couple times and it has been great.
leonah love it went good! i had gotten hired immediately on the spot and been working there for the last 3 months, the 7th makes 4 months working at TB
