The large display is just a casing with 2 displays in it. Like any other car but now put together... About hot temperatures: cars and its electronics are designed and tested to oprerate flawlessy from -25°C up to 125°C... So, don't panic ;-)

@@Jupiter8Boy64 I found that you are correct. I couldn't find the cost of the display online so I went to the KIA dealership and they looked up the monitor replacement cost which was around $500 which isn't too bad. If the time to replace the monitor let's say is 2 to 4 hours and the expected service dealer price per hour cost is $100 to $200 dollar per hour then the service fee should add anywhere from $200 to $800 dollars for service cost above the $500 part cost for a total expected repair of $700 to $1300 dollars, which is far below the $7500 fee I first heard. . The temperature testing is good however the main culprit for electronics is temperature cycling or/and temperature gradients. The temperature testing, -25C to 125C is generally an ambient "bake" temperature test which gives some reliability data for electronic components, but I would argue that most electronic damage, especially for cars and electronic military hardware is temperature cycling/gradients over time. What this means is if you cycle repeatedly, for example a sawtooth, temperature variation let's say from 0C to 80C and back to 0C, where the cyle period is 1 or 2 hours over 2 to 3 days this is much worse than baking at -25C and then baking at 125C. Due to the position of the LCD monitor, it will experience large cycling and temperature gradients. I would still say that the driver should use some type of sun shield protector or/and put a cloth over the whole monitor, back side and front.

That's a great invite into making people decide wether they do buy a Sportage.

Hybrid has the dial shifter vs the regular shifters are gas models both are 2023 models

With the leather interior seats, we tend not to use the sunroof during midday, but it is quite beautiful to use it at dawn, dusk or night. They do make a hybrid version - at least in the States they have a standard hybrid and also a plug-in hybrid. MPG is 25/32 for our fuel version

Quiet mode makes the internal audio play only on the front speakers and not the ones in the back. The purpose of this is if you have children sleeping in the back and you’d still like to listen to the radio up front. Sound is relatively low on the highway, and believe it or not there is a setting to adjust the volume the engine produces! Sounds crazy but we’ll show it in a future vid:)

I listen to audiobooks with my phone! You can plug it in for Apple car play or listen wirelessly on Bluetooth. There’s no CD player in the vehicle

You can buy a small portable cd player with Bluetooth to listen to your cds as well

25-32 mpg for the non hybrid model. Pretty standard for SUVs

Only the hybrid SX prestige and x line pro prestige have this feature! The normal SX Prestige doesn’t come with this😢

In the US, only the hybrid models have the dial gear selector. Fuel versions have the “jet/pilot” shifter

Easier said than done! The US has some of the strictest emission import regulations in the world.

When you connect your phone if it’s an Apple it will show the Apple CarPlay and if you have android it has a different screen too

Ah yeah, the seats are synthetic leather. The wheel is authentic leather

Nothing to be sorry about. The interior material is really nice and far easier to take care of than leather.
