1. only focus on finishing your starting region and as much of stories as you can 2. get a pokemon that can have a lot of hms used on it, e.g dragonite 3. get a pokemon to use for efficient catching, e.g breeloom with false swipe and spore 4. catch a lot of pokemon in safari zone for early game money making 5. try to put together a gym run(?) team for easily beating gym rebattles
edit: Safari zone isn't allowed at all. Max 50 pokemon are allowed party and pc combined. If 51 are caught one must be released to store the new one in party or pc.

As opposed to the paper on optimal safari zone catching, i'd say throwing stones at Magikarp makes absolute sense: Since you have "infinite" encounters, it does not matter if it runs away. So you just save safari balls, since the balls always run out first when you just do fishing.
I have an idea for a video, things you can achieve/accomplish in pokemmo that aren't necessary for progressing and being successful in the game but nonetheless are very satisfying and memorable things to have done. An example is to get an OT shiny or breed an OT 6x31+N pokemon or make a 6x0 pokemon (mine is a magikarp XD) or get a pokemon with all ribbons, etc . The favorite one for me was to "complete" the pokedex, to get OT of all obtainable pokemon, it took me almost 1 week a few years ago but it was well worth it because it's been very satisfying opening the pokedex ever since :D
Goal: just beat story mode with any pokemon to unlock other regions. Requirement 1: just beatdown anything with any pokemon. Requirement 2: very limited on pokemon and money. Requirement 3: Avoid breeding as much as possible, it's a waste of money. requirement 4: you can buy berries and stuff on the GTL to increase IVs/EVs whatever, but the pokemon must be caught and improved with its starting stats. Requirement 5: Kanto region to start. So how does that challenge work off a new fresh account.
You can also grab a Tropicus in rotate 119 in Hoen as an HM slave. It can learn: -Cut -Fly -Strength -Rock mash -Sweet scent (horde) Swampert is another great surfer as well. It can learn: -Surf -Dive -Waterfall -Rock smash

You can also get dratini from johto during the dragon trial thing. You can get that rare extreme speed one which is a great money maker, then you can fish for more as well.
Could you do a guide on 5 things to do once you reach late game (once you finish all the 4 storylines)? I just finished stories and started some shiny hunting but I feel like I will get bored and stay afk in Vermillon after some time :/
can you get pokemon from any region to run through the story? as in jump between region to region constantly to finish your team to continue the story?
Getting a gym battling team is kinda tough. U can use a comp team at lvl 100 but u want good ivs which means breeding and a lot of money and time to do so and u need to ev train and get the move set u want. Not to easy or quick
i would raise whatever video settings u can and then graphics usually heavily depend on what region your in as well, 4th and 5th gen usually looking the best
wait, how do you fish? Do you unlock it at a higher level or something? I recently got my 6th gym badge in Unova, and I want to follow you advice to fish for Dragonite in Dragonspiral Tower.
Unfortunately you have to of beaten the storyline in unova to get access to the super rod which is what you need to fish there. But after you defeat the elite 4 you talk to a dude in ur house in nuvema town and he will give you the rod. Hope this helps!
Game freak has no legal grounds to take down PokeMMO due to the way they run their game and the fact that they don’t supply the roms is huge. To my knowledge Game Freak has tried to take them down before and failed.

its generally gen 5 pokemon with a lot of gen 7-8 movesets and mechanics alongside some custom balancing decisions. Its a mish mash of many things and very much its own pokemon game mechanically.
i think its very possible. The game started as only fire red/leaf green and people thought it was gonna be impossible for them to add 4th-5th gen due to the graphics and different console/roms and then they simply did, there should be workarounds for future generations if they devs choose to add them.
catching pokémon for the pokedex is very nice and helpful and then maybe farming certain pokémon u either want for ur team or to make some money selling can be good, but its definitely worth to wait until u have the right utility pokémon and resources before committing to a long term catching grind. Misty is actually one of the toughest gyms in kanto especially with where shes places in the storyline, my best recommendation would be to catch an oddish there near the early game, theres a couple different spawn locations near viridian city or north of nugget bridge, but anyways get an oddish and level it into a gloom at level 21 and gloom should be a great tool to help defeat her and i HEAVILY reccomend getting tht gloom into a BELLOSSOM asap because bellossom will learn quiver dance and help u absolutely tear thru the storyline, i assume you dont have access to the GTL yet if this is ur first region, but see if u can buy a sun stone from a friend or smtn if possible. @@xy4893 Yhe next gym from there is gonna be lt surge in vermillion city, Head north east thru the house in cerulean city and then go around that outside route of the map clockwise until u reach the southern part and then go down south until u see a little mini building in the south east corner of the map, go in there and head all the way thru the underground tunnel and youll pop out JUST north of vermillion, sorry this is so confusing LOL. Might be able to find a video for you.

Ye i get why that stuff sounds hella sus but its very typical for any mmo type game to be able to IP ban bot farms or catch alts if you partake in any RWT.

Bro, I have a video idea for you. Cover OT's. I've been playing this game for a while and can still be confusing literally no extensive info on it online for example: shiny breeding. Female OT + Male Non = Male OT + Female Non = Male OT + Ditto Non = Ditto OT + Non OT Female or Male Which combos create OT which ones unknown ot. OT with an * what does that mean. Again love your videos keep it up
