If you get a gear driven random orbital it’s much better than the regular dual action that stalls whenever you apply to much pressure the Rupes Mille is great

Thanks for all the info Dennis… I couldn’t believe how similar our tools our and how we use them for the same things…. I’ve been polishing as a business for about 4 years now and if it wasn’t for your videos I wouldn’t be where I’m at today…. Especially about how you use the DA with a cutting pad on stainless to save time, especially when your a Lone Ranger like myself and have 10 trucks lined up and are an hour away from home it just seems to be never ending so all these tricks and tips to save time and money are life saving…. Thanks again and looking forward into watching future videos… 👍

Thanks a lot for making these videos. It's so hard to find information on metal polishing. I'm just getting started as a side business and your videos have been extremely helpful. Please keep em coming!

New here, I'm wondering when a rim for example is more detailed, do you still used the same tools or do you have tools for more smaller detailed work? Want to restore my OE rims on my Ford Ranger and I've noticed there are some nooks and cranny's on them.

Yes absolutely! Mind you it can become a nightmare of a job depending if there’s costing or what type of metal you’re dealing with. If you send me a message on fb or ig I’ll send you a link to a kit you can use! :) Thanks for watching

Hi.Would it be enough to use a 600-3500RPM Grinder only working on a car 18 inch alloy wheel? I am asking about the whole process of sanding/cutting/polishing.Would a smaller pads be better than the ones you use to work on a car rim. Would a grinder work as good as an orbit sander? An orbit one speed sander operates at around 2000RPM ,so a grinder can also do it due to its variable speeds 600 - 3500RPM. Thanks in advance. Hubert.

Don’t fully understand your question 😳 but yes you can use a smaller pad on a 3500 yo fit smaller wheels. Hope this helps a bit. Thanks for watching

@@DCSuperShine I have done my research. What I meant was if a tool which produces a variable speed is enough to do the job from sanding approximately at 2000 rpm. through buffering/ cutting at around 6000 rpm. to finish off with polishing at around 2000 rpm. ( using the correct compounds and discs/ airway wheels)

Definitely DO NOT buy harbor freight’s grinders for any of this. I ate 3 of them up in one day. 15 amp “high power” didn’t have a chance polishing wheels or bumpers.
