The people who fight over who in the trinity is the better hero needs to shut up. They all were made for different reasons, and at different times. Superman was made to inspire hope, and show that the world has good people. He leads people into better, brighter days. He is an alien, yet he is more human then all of us. Batman was made to inspire fear. He wasn't the usual good guy we saw. He leads people into using there brain over there brawn. He is the most dangerous person, yet he has no powers. Wonder Woman was made to inspire wisdom, grace, power, and beauty. She shows that women can be as powerful as men. And that truth is always the way. She is the most graceful women, yet she is badass at the same time. She has the power of Superman, yet the wisdom of Batman. All of these heroes are great in there own way. It's OK if you prefer one or the other, but none is better then the others.
dont hate me on this but I hate Gal Gadot as WW. Personally I think they should have picked someone who looks Greek and has a bit more muscle. (Im not saying too beefy as WW isnt a body builder though.)
Some dude who is brave enough to comment Was kind of surprising, actually, since I had heard that the majority of the roles she'd played before were basically pinup model bimbos. I guess she just picked terrible roles to show off her talent?
I don't know if you take the DCEU into account, but the moment when we see the Trinity aligned to take on Doomsday in Dawn of Justice makes me grin like a kid in Disneyland every single time.
Some dude who is brave enough to comment This moment is pretty epic. And I like the dialogue between the characters as well... I feel the Bats/Supes bromance coming.
Lol yeah, I've always wished to see a live action Bats and Supes in the big screen, but then they added Wonder Woman; completing the DC Trinity and yeah, I also feel the Bat/Supes bromance is coming. Hopefully something like that in JL 2017 :D
One of my favourite Trinity moments was at the beginning of Infinite Crisis when they're gathered in the ruined JLA base on the moon. They're having a big argument and then Mongul shows up.
Cristhian DZC My Dream version of The Trinity in the MCU will be Luke Cage AKA Power Man from the Defenders side, Peter Quill AKA Star-Lord from the Guardians of the Galaxy Side & Natasha Romanoff from the Avengers side.
That's a stupid statement. How can anyone say that three heroes (even as beloved and iconic as them) can be better than a whole universe with hundreds of very different characters.
Trinity #1 was awesome. Some deep and meaningful insight, and a nice focus on new beginnings between the three of them. Great stuff, looking forward to this one!
I saw a comment talking about the "Marvel Trinity", but I don't think Marvel really has one. The DC Trinity is clearly a group of three people who work well together, are friends, and hold a position of great importance in their respective universe. Marvel just.... doesn't have a group like that. And you know, that's ok. Marvel and DC don't have to mirror each other in every possible way. It's fine for them to have different aspects in their universes.
how many Artemis does DC have? There's the archer, the goddess, the amazon with Red Hood right now. Geez, forget about the number "52", DC has some conspiracy with Artemis!
There's a great Superman Batman storyline where the trinity and Barda go to Apocalypse to save Kara (Suoergirl). one of my favorite stories with those three. everyone gets a shining moment.
say what you want about the trinity but they definitely not only treat each other better than Marvel's Trinity but are more powerful as well of course I'm referring to Captain America Iron Man and Thor being Marvel's Trinity
Apparently the consensus for Marvel is that they have a 'trinity' of teams. X-Men, Avengers, and Fantastic Four. Though if we were to go with individuals... Spiderman is a close analogue to Batman. Always been popular, always having teamups, but gets complaints about being a bit of a manchild with an overly strict moral code that keeps them both from staying happy for any long period of time, but have recently developed beyond that (Spidey running his own company now, so he is allowed to enjoy success. And Batman finally embracing his batfamily. For Superman, I think the Hulk is the best one for him. Iconic, nearly always has a comic out, but tends to go in and out of popularity, and has trouble finding writers that can write them well. Both also are supermen that would be happy being everymen if given the chance, with day jobs that require them to use their minds (Journalist and Scientist). Both share the idea of an intellecually elite donning a persona to become physically elite. Thor could be seen as an anologue, he was designed to be Marvel's answer to Big Blue, after all, but he really isn't that 'iconic' in comics, when we're being honest. How many people even know that the comic character was originally a dude that turned into Thor? Hulk has always been a feature of Marvel, exactly the way he is. Comic Thor just hasn't had much of an impact in people's minds like Hulk has. For Wonder Woman it is a bit tricky, as she is mainly known as a feminist icon, and there aren't that many iconic female superheroes in the public consciousness. The obvious answer for her is Captain America. Known mainly for their time fighting the nazis, underestimated by the authorities (Wonder Woman was initially denied as a candidate as ambasador to Men's world, and CA is often shown as nearly not being chosen to get the serum because of his frailty). Both exist to spread the ideals of their nations, which happen to be peace, egalitarianism, and freedom. Both their costumes are based on the american flag. Both are 'warriors' as well as heroes, Cap being a veteran and WW being a greek warrior, who fight primarily with iconic weapons. Both also have a history of being shipped with billionare playboys that love gadgets (Cap and Tony, and WW and Batman). These might not necessarily the most popular heroes, or the best written, but I feel they are the most iconic of Marvel's roster, and the ones that have had the biggest impact on the medium.
dude everyone knows the Holy Trinity for The Avengers aka the number one team and heavy hitter in Marvel is Captain America Iron Man and Thor they are literally mirror images of Superman Batman and Wonder Woman when the Avengers have a secret meeting with just three team members it's always Steve Tony and Thor
Darren Dyson Except that this is for all of marvel, not just the avengers. That list would work if we were talking about the cinematic universe, though.
Lol too bad that Marvel decided to kill off 2 of their trinity of teams. FF has been long gone for awhile and this year is seeing the systematic assassination of X-Men. And with the Avengers revolving door the only real constant seems to be tony stark. but even he is being SJW'd into a 15 year old black girl.
So in the comics, Wonder Woman is just as iconic as Batman and Superman right? So why in pretty much every form of media other than comics she takes a backseat and is generally ignored?
Something else the episode had Lex Luthor, Cheetah and the Joker. I was about the villains switching places against the Heroes. Lex vs Batman, Joker vs Wonder Woman and Cheetah vs Superman. It was a great episode it was funny and the show was Batman Brave and the Bold
Now I'm starting to wonder if DC is gonna release a graphic novel which will contain the greatest stories of the Trinity, much like how they did with Batman vs Superman, in the near-future.
Keith Arnold "Trinity" is usually used to describe thing's or people that are of great importance. Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are basically the worlds greatest and most well known heroes.
I hope my daughters watch everyone around then wince whenever Thursday is even spoken. I hope the terror of the people around them make my kids feel safe.
I hope my parents know I endorse the executive actions surrounding custody of Alien Gonzalez. I just wanna get my own kids back. I don't intend to ask for them back.
I have always thought that trinity is better than justice league. I love how all members are so contrasting different Batman (no powers, dark brooding, a bit ruthless and can use questionable methods) HUMAN Superman (all goody, honest, loving never using questionable methods) SCIENCE (alien) Wonderwoman (arrogant, cocky, not forgiving) MAGIC they create very cool mix of character, power, or universe they present. jl feels too mashed up, too many chars
Wonder Woman is not arrogant, cocky and unforgiving. This unfortunately is how they portray her sometimes because they just don't know what to do with her
Do you consider Superman carrying Batman while flying as a hug? They've done that a few times. Otherwise even as Clark took his last breaths before dying he only shook Bruce's hand.
TO add to The Trinity on Apokolips, The Golden Age Batman and Superman joining teaming up with Justice Society which Wonder Woman was a member during the 1940's, the forming of the Justice League, and the various mega storylines.
Darwyn Cooke was, and still is a legend in the comic book industry; he's written/illustrated one of the best DC stories among many others books. The only thing disgusting is your comment.
