When we're looking for review videos we're not looking for "what's been selling" we're looking for what is the "best product" for the money!

My washer and dryer are Kenmore, both 18 years old. I can only hope that they both continue to work okay since they have always done a great job.

Once I had a missing 3rd option Swedish made "Electro-Helios" washing machine back in the late 70's and it suited me perfectly. It was a top-loaded horizontal drum (H-axis drum just like a front loader) and it washed clean and fluff-free as front-loading drum-washers always do better thanks to its two compartments i.e. inside round drum with laundry in a outer square box. Big but (unlike front-loaders) you could always stop it simply by lifting the top-lid and add what ever was forgotten. After opening the lid you rolled the inside drum (by hand...) until you could open two "barn-doors" and chuck something extra inside the drum. Then it could just keep going washing again. Sadly I left it behind in Uppsala when moving to Australia, never to be seen again. That was ~50 years ago and many my washers later I never had a better one... Nothing close...and a similar washing machine is impossible to find 2020. Sad :-)

Samsung themselves cant fix their broken washers. Being a business owner of an appliance repair company for 30 years... I have NEVER EVER seen as many angry and dissatisfied customers than those that purchased Samsung appliances. Washers included. To carry that line .. to me is morally reprehensible

Hey great video..just doing some market research here but wondering if anyone has had the same problem as me where you put in the dirty laundry to wash but forget to move to the dryer bc you're busy or distracted and then the clothes get stinky or you have to wash it again wasting water, electricity and detergent??? LOL....just trying to come up with solutions for something like an "instant laundry" but not the combo type so just pop it in and then like an hour later it's done washed and dried. Any thoughts or feedback would be greatly appreciated y'all! ;) Thx

ALl the ones that were picked were front loaders. The problem with front loaders is they leak.

In China, front load washing machines start from US$200-300/unit.Lot of local brands. China also has washer and dryer in one unit washing machine. It don't need move clothes from washer to dryer anymore.

I needed a new washer a while back and before I even opened my mouth the sales people at both Home Depot and Lowes told me I didn't want one of the modern "no agitator" top loaders from folks like Samsung because all they get are complaints and returns. And this was the *sales* people talking.

Just because a particular washer sells a lot of units is absolutely no correlation to being a quality product. Most buyers choose based on price and “name”. Great TVs by Samsung and LG certainly don’t mean their washers and dryers are superior.

Thanks for the review but you didn't give any brand names or model numbers for any of the units.... you referred to all of them as "This one" I think you mentioned one was a Samsung and another is an LG but thats it.

My miele is a massive disappointment 20 years? Yes if you spend $700 on repairs every 7 years.

Samsung washers are a ripoff, and you promote them. We have had a top line Samsung washer fixed three time. The technicians have taken apart the entire washer in order to get to the main shaft for the drum. Why? Because the washer continues to breakdown every time since it is unable to spin without jumping up and down due to unbalanced loads. My previous washer from Whirlpool had no major problems, and it lasted over 15-years in service doing several washes each week. I am sorry I sold it.

Have to say nice to see the Americans with machines and there choices... very interesting i have to say! very limited to pick from. Samsung are very mediocre and problematic! the pricing for not much on them even entry level very very poor... LG over here very problematic and there not cheap to fix either... the prices get very ridiculous indeed! Here you get most machines that have anti alergy and anti stain, and tub cleaning cycles included as standard... sure dont need to go up more, and the sizes of drums arent bad... Best to buy in order Miele - by far best made and maintained for your needs AEG - By far best for functions Bosch - By far the most friendly and easy to made machines at good prices Whirlpool / Kenmore - best top loaders (not sure why anyone wants top loaders) Samsung - Ecobubble / Quick Drive - they are only models that actually work decently Hotpoint - probs more reliable then LG lol

this guy is a salesman for sure. he is talking about the data collection. He is saying from collected data . That these are selling highest .. I never heard him talk about maintenance ,manufacture issues or any problems.. Most consumers don't shop appliance issues before they buy . That's what I'm trying to do today . shop for a washer dryer . By figuring out the cons versus the pros.. And that its american made if thats posibble

very very nice video but a certified repair specialist in my city told me 'never ever touch koreans" as they often fail electronics and the replacement is almost 70% of a new machine. lesson is never ever touch koreans esp front loaders...

You call yourself Appliance Guy! You are recommending junk appliances to naive buyers! I am an Appliance technician and having been repairing appliance for over 35 years. Samsung and LG both have class action law suits on defective design flaws which they fail to correct. Both companies have no plans to correct these problems in the future. Their thoughts are they expect the consumer to replace their appliances every 5-7 years. The best washer and dryer on the market today are the Speed Queen models. Front loader washer do not wash as well the top loaders with a full size agitator. Front load design are more prone to failure. All front load designs have odor issues from design ventilating issues! I love Samsung and LG TV's, but their appliances are garbage. I work on Samsung and LG more than any other brand because of this. The Government needs to step in and stop manufactures from misrepresenting their products. Whirlpool is selling LG's labeled as a Whirlpool refrigerators and GE is selling Samsung labeled as GE refrigerators. One way to know if they are not an authenic Whirlpool or GE is the manufacture sticker inside the FF cabinet. Real Whirlpools are made in Canada, and real GE are made in Kentucky or Mexico. They are not made is South Korea.

Top 5 washers based upon marketing and sales, not reliability. A very good living is made by those who repair modern day , poorly made appliances. The money saved on water and electricity, mandated by government , is eaten up by repair costs.

Any washer selling for less than $700 is going to be garbage in about five years, especially a front loader. You can buy one of these and then you'll be replacing it five years from now. If you replace it with something similar, the same thing will happen again and you'll be caught in a cycle of buying new washers every four to five years for the rest of your washing life. OR you could spend $1,100 or so on a Speed Queen now and have a washer that will last you the rest of your life if you take care of it. Don't be a chump!

Samsung and lg make lousy appliances especially the refrigeration.

Maybe it would help if you let people know what the actual #1 washer is.. you talk about all the features, and keep saying "this.. this..", maybe give it a name so we know what it is.

Do not listen to this! I owned the first model Samsung he mentions. If I were to call it a piece of junk it would be an insult to junk. The same holds true for all Samsung appliances I’ve had - dryer, refrigerator, microwave.

Sir: you need to be consistent. at first, you began your review of the first two washer with the introduction of the Brand name & the model number than you talked about the figures. but did not stay consistent with the rest model , 3rd, 2nd and 1st washer.

Samsung is the worst. All the used appliance stores are loaded with them. Most are under a year old. Moving along.......

The Samsung wf42h5000aw/a2 is garbage. Mine has a broken spider arm after 3.5 years of use and is too costly to repair. I bought it at AF. I called Samsung and they said there is no warranty and was sold as a floor model, which I was NOT told at purchase. DO NOT do business with Appliance Factory and do not buy Samsung washers.
