Another great Lumeoween edition! That Signum Cuda is definitely on my list. Not a big fan of white dials, so the orange is what really catches my eye, but the Lume Monster in me pushes me towards the white bgw9 dial. The best lume on any of my watches, which include Seiko, Zelos & Lüm-Tec is my Deep Eddy by Dufrane. The lume is absolutely outstanding & easily lasts all night. Awesome vid yet again Shane.
Fun list Shane - see if you can look at the full-lume panda chrono from Tsao. That has wild lume - I could read by it, but the watch has been banished b/c "too bright" 🙄 I'm very tempted by the Wise. I think it would play happily with a Staib bracelet I picked-up in a trade. So much shiny!
I've been looking forward to this and it didn't disappoint. Good choices. In ended at the SWC hands and I why I had forgotten about the Wise Adamascas I don't know. Is that Raven link to A FULL reading or just the short?
Full reading. People always ask me if I do audiobook narration, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I think it turned out good. Although afterward I listened to a version by Christopher Lee, and I felt very amateurish.
@@RelativeTime I had heard the short reel so now I'll listen to the full. This is probably a perfect companion to the video and rubella for paying attention to viewer requests for your narration.
Impressive review! And i thought my Citizen Autozilla was the best in term of lume... ;p So, all the watches in your review are better? Warm regards from France
I only have one loom monster and its the latest in my collection. Its the Spinnaker x Islander Dumas full lume dial. Im so impressed by it i now want to see it compared to you classic line of Lume Monsters. Would you be interested reviewing it? I sure would, id pay shipping (im only in canada). Saw zero reviews so far but im not really looking for them anymore, the watch is bought & im convinced and happy.
Hi, I am so excited to see this come out, I really enjoy the reviews, and the over all channel! I'd rather choose this channel any day over Watch Finder, there is just something so different about it.
Yah a couple. I reviewed the Komodo when it first came out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xg-n-B5Rp-0.html As well as the newer Miyako. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XCXMDd3-vUs.html
We have had a great response from the Chicagoians(with the exception of Sox fans) and Cubs fans. You can even see it on David Ross' wrist during games. The Wriglyville map on this dial is subtle in the daylight so it is not too loud.
Well usually I set it up the time lapse before I go to bed and check in the morning. Normally I set for either 2 or 3 hours. Depends on how good I think the lume is, and every once in a while I go back and redo it for longer. Most of the time I find that it's sufficient as the cameras no longer able to pick up anything. In terms of the video, sometimes I only show part of it simply because of the analytics. I show enough to prove what I'm saying and then go on to the next topic. Most of the time people don't want to sit and watch the time lapse for 30 seconds to a minute and they'll skip it anyways. Too many people do that and then that tells the algorithm that the video is not good and then it doesn't show it to as many people. So I try to find the balance between getting everybody the information they should need, regardless of whether they're going to skip it or not, yet still keeping a flow to keep RU-vid happy.
@@paulauksztulewicz4803 i believe thats a thing to worry for the maintainenrs of the watch the pwople who are doing the maintenance . for eg. a favoyrite brand of mine Certina has their rates for maintenance roght on their websote. it is possible too to find out in advance with the maintainenrs or makers of the respective watches
@@RelativeTime absolutely agree. The concept was great and in fact I was a backer consequently. However Adrian did not manage his failure to produce real product at all well. There was no explanation let alone apology to his backers just prevarication... and then an apparent hope that it would all die a quiet death if he could just continue to ignore the fact that he either kept or spent $46K on SOMETHING... and his backers deserved better that this. Annoyingly (altough actually I'm calm about it as there is no use crying over spilled milk) he then went on to readvertise another similar on KS with a new legato driver (different dials) project launch of June 2023. Thats cheeky. Really enjoy YOUR channel BTW... your'e calm and intelligent and I find your review both peaceful and interesting LOL 🥰
@@VirtualOz thanks, I really appreciate you saying that given what we're talking about. Jesus, I didn't know he launched another one. Did he actually ship it? I've tried reaching out to him a few times, maybe once a year or so asking for him to comment. But I think at this point he's blocked me.
@@RelativeTime no he pulled the 2nd one and stop referencing it on his website also. I think it may have been an attempt to raise further funds and POSSIBLY thus actually produce something... but thats a ponzi approach anyway... so no its closed. Its OK its easy to compliment what you do. You have a great approach to horology and I find that you have an "easy listening" voice. Glad you're doing what you're doing 😀
