Interesting thought experiment. I know practically nothing about guns but this was interesting to watch. Although I know for a fact me with a grenade would not be a good combo
Primary: SCAR MK 17 with thermal hybrid. Perfect balance of stopping power and range. Secondary: AA 12. One drum with buckshot and another with explosive rounds. Sidearm: FNX 45 Tactical: A good balance of capacity and stopping power. Melee: Two Handed Bastard Sword. Wildcard: Suicide Vest.
Lol... that's an interesting point because I guess I did not say you could not choose a fictional character as a weapon. Thanks for watching Eric. Best regards, Schizofenik
This is def an interesting idea. My five would be -AA-12 fully automatic shotgun (like Royce), - an ak47 for more focused fire, a taurus judge (shotshell firing handgun), an entrenching tool like the saperka or feldspaten, and at least two claymore anti-personel mines. In this situation I'd want to up my chance of actually tagging the predator, hence the assault shotgun and claymores. The jungle environment in my opinion also makes weapons like sniper and assault rifles less effective due to the low range of visibility and the cloak makes me feel like unless you have a minigun spray and pray won't help. With the AA-12 and the Taurus I have a better chance to hit, the ak if I get into a medium range engagement, the entrenching tool for bladed combat as well as it's multi-tool qualities. And claymores for booby traps and defending a sleeping area. Also I think it's wonderful that wherever I was vacationing allowed me to walk into the jungle with enough weaponry and ammunition to destabilize a small government.
Primary- AA 12 automatic shotgun with a mixture of incendiary rounds and slugs Secondary- M4 with Beowulf 50 cal conversion Sidearm- Desert eagle Blade- Gator machete Wildcard- thermite grenades
Definitely not a bad list, but if you’re going to go with something long range and you already have a light machine gun as your primary weapon, a large caliber sniper rifle probably would not be your best option realistically. The weight of the ammunition and the length of the weapon itself on top of the needs of your primary weapon in regards to ammunition would make you essentially a walking teeter totter and completely cut down your mobility making a very easy, very clumsy, target. I think a better option would be something along the lines of a semi automatic rifle, with an extended ranged Leopold scope or ACOG, Which may not pack a punch you’re looking for but would give you a decent amount of distance how much easier sustained rate of fire so you could take multiple long range shots without having to adjust your site picture or worry about giving your way your position as easily as if you’re trying to use a higher caliber. The absolute best option would be to choose a primary and secondary weapon system that utilizes the same sized ammunition, to maximize your a no availability. Unused belt fed 7.62 for instance, can easily be cross loaded, and is among the most available ammunition caliber on the planet should you run into a lucky bunker supply or cache.
All of these would have armour piercing rounds 1. M4A1 2. MP5 SD 3. H&K P30L (might also choose the deagle aswell) 4. Bladed Machete 5. Compact Minigun
Primary weapon: Neopup PAW-20 with HE and HEI rounds. Secondary weapon; Sig M5 SPEAR Tertiary weapon P90 Fourth weapon FN FiveSeven Fifth weapon Miller Brothers Blades set of tactical Wakizashi
primary: Pkm light machine gun 7,62x54r ; secondary: OC-14 "Groza" with GP-25 Kostyer 40mm under barrel grande launcher; side arm: Pfeifer-Zeliska .600 Nitro Express Revolver; melee : i go with a machete as well ; wild card: thermal googles because he cant hide his body heat
primary weapon Mossberg 590 A1 with Dragons breath load secondary weapon M14 scoped with full metal jacket rounds sidearm Springfield EMP 40 cal Bladed weapon standard machete Wild card claymore explosives. I picked my choices from watching the movies, and saw what worked, and what didn't. Dragon's breath reacts to water, if I got lucky enough to get contact, they would typically make the mistake of trying to put out the fire with water. Shotgun shells are relatively light, so it would be easy to carry enough for a few reloads. The emp because of it's 1911 style mechanics, and the cartridge size for it's stopping power. It also holds like nine rounds per magazine. The Scoped m14 for it's caliber size. It's shown in the movie that the predator's shields can't withstand it. the machete, well, it's a machete. The claymores because you can remote detonate them, set them up on trip wires, and so many other ways. simple versatility.
Primary Stery aug a3 with a grenade launcher, chambered in 5.56, secoundary an Akar chambered 7.62 with a masterkey underbarrel shotgun. Side arm 44.magnum with 50 ae rounds and Ka-bar for melee, and wild card, i choose a crossbow or bow for stealth and versatility
Primary would be an ak 12 for the accuracy and damage with an m820 grenade launcher attachment 40 round mag an acog scope with thermal vision and susppesor secondary Scorpio with 10x and suppressor with thermal vision scope dessert eagle with red dot Katna because I will need a sharp weapon and a 4 frags
I wold choose a 1. sub machine gun 40 caliber anti armer roands 2.a sniper with 60 caliber Rond and anti are diet in poison and a explosive rounds 3. a shot gun with explosive round and urmer pirsing 4. my favorite wood be a viking axe that is lit 5. my wild card is going to be a self destroying bomb that I will activate when I am almost dead taking me and the dum predetermining
I would chose a shot gun the military one with explosive randes so the revolver would not do much since basercer got exploded and kept going after firing the gungle hunter he was even shot by a sniper point blank he still kept going so unless you are in a movie and you are a Mayen character only then you wold win other wise you would be shot in the bak
I think another good primary would be a FN SCAR. A fully automatic weapon chambered in 308, the same caliber as those light machine guns but compact into a platform like Dutch’s rifle. A good fire rate to hit a fast moving Yautja and a round with a lot of power to stagger or kill them
I wish the original movie had shown the showdown between Billy and the Jungle Hunter! The KA-BAR machete is a great choice! I don't have that particular one, but I love my other KA-BAR knives! 😀👍
I think that was a good list, but I have had to carry a SAW and 240 around and let me tell you, something about 17lbs doesn't sound too heavy but it would get tiresome real quick. I would probably think light weight weaponry and mobility would do better because of the Yautja's plasmacaster. 5 weapons may even be too many? If I had to go into this fight I would want a... m4 (may not have the best punching power agaisnt a Yautja but I am familar with it.) a Katana (I would prefer a close ranged fight because of its cloaking) Pink paint grenades to reveal it m67 grenades for my Yautja self destruction equivalent. This was a cool video!
I'd agree with the 249 & 240 being too heavy after a while is dead on. Carrying a 249 with full combat load in Iraq was hell sometimes lol I'd say m4 with under barrel mastery key shotgun.
haha i like the idea of this video :D , i know nothing about guns but i'd pick an assault rifle as a primary and a spas shotgun for secondary , desert eagle pistol ( because i don't know any stronger one :P ) , a machete would be suitable for jungle environment and finally some molotov cocktails since yautja are blinded by fires or perhaps some land mines as traps , or maybe a sentry gun which i will camp next to !! =') great leap of imagination schizo that was entertaining :D
No thermal scopes to track the predator while cloaked? Would be wise to attach one to the sniper My list would be similar though F89 lmg Blaser r93 with thermal optics Side arm would be the same United m48 tomahawk for bladed weapon And then 4 M18A1 claymors
So I'm new around these parts and started binge watching a lot of your series enjoying a lot of... Well literally all the knowledge of this universe especially the Predators since I never knew how much lore there was about them till now. Anyhow, do you happen to have any videos about the 2010 movie "Predators"? As I would LOVE to watch it since you go in such drastic detail about everything in a lot of the films, comics. games and any other stories produced. If you do would you happen to remember the title of the videos or have a link by chance? ^^'
Glad you are enjoying the videos. I have one video on the 2010 Predators and have provided you with the link below: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XDz7T79CbQA.html Thanks for watching. Best regards, Schizofenik
PRIMARY: FN P90 with Teflon coated rounds SECONDARY: AA-12 utilizing FRAG-12 rounds loaded into 32 round drum mags and also 12 gauge Tungsten L-5 type Slugs also in drums SIDEARM: Chiappa Rhino 60DS 357 magnum with hybrid flip sight/scope GRENADES: M34 White Phosphorous grenades- doubles as both smoke and incendiary MELEE: Dual Damascus Steel Kopis
Primary: Benelli M4 (I feel it's a good mix of fast firing and stopping power. Plus I feel being able to stop mid reload to fire what shells or slugs you already loaded will be of great help if the Yautja decides to charge me down while I reload.) Secondary: FN P90 (This weapon is light enough for me to carry along with the M4. A 50 round mag with both a high firing full auto and accurate semi auto modes would make it great for all ranges.) Sidearm: M1911 (It may not be the biggest pistol but it's still relatively effective as a whole. And presuming I've at least hit the Yautja with my Primary and Secondary before being forced to swap I feel this could be good enough to finish it off if it's in an injured state. Uninjured I won't have the best odds but the M1911 is heavily reliable and 45 APC has good stopping not the best but I feel good enough to give me a chance.) Bladed: M9 Bayonet (It might be a bit dated but given the size and strength advantage of a Yautja I feel a Bayonet attached to my M4 would help even the odds give the reach advantage I'd have. Plus if I run out of ammo for my M4 I can use it as a spear.) Wild Card: M320 Grenade Launcher (And lastly this would give me a little extra kick, flush out the Yautja, and is small enough to be carried easily while still being devastating to my target.) Overall: I feel like my setup would be light enough for me to maneuver through the Jungle while still being damaging enough to put the Predator down. (8.42 lb with the M4, 5.8 lb with the P90, 39 Oz with the M1911, M9 Bayonet 16 Oz, M320 3.3 lb plus ammo for all should ideally keep me below 20-25lb of carry weight).
Primary: Galil chambered in 7.62x39 with 75 round drums and a Holographic sight of some kind? Long Range Option: L115A3 AWM chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum Sidearm: MP-7 with those expensive 40 round mags, the Armor piercing nature of the 4.9x30 cartridge should break through that tough Yautja hide and make a mess of his insides Melee: Perhaps a tomahawk with a spear tip? The hooked nature of the axe head should help me keep the wrist blade at bay while a quick strike from the spear tip to his chest will definitely do some damage Wildcard: AN-M14 Thermite grenades. Only used when my back is truly up against the wall, I shall use 2 or 3 of these to light the forest on fire to pull a Royce and use the surrounding heat of the forest fire as cover to butcher the Yautja with my axe or use what ammo I have to take this thing down
My choices would consist of: #1: FN SCAR (with Armor piercing rounds): A Military grade weapon with good range, adjustable/ sufficient rate of fire, and relatively good durability (from what I've heard) #2: AA12 Shotgun: Semi Automatic and full Automatic firing options, potential drum attachment, and... It's a Shotgun! #3: Desert Eagle: Handheld, High power, and multiple shots. Yes the recoil is insane, I know, but If I have to use a pistol against a Yautja then I am already messed up. So if I have to chose to use one, why not pick the one that is basically the closest thing to a handheld Shotgun. #4: Tactical Tomahawk: Sharp blade, more weight behind the swing, greater momentum behind the swing, and adaptable as both a survival tool and a weapon. #5/WC: 9-Bang Grenades/ "9 Bangers": Flash bang and a makeshift sonic weapon in a small package allowing for multipleto be carried. Could potentially disrupt their sensors and buy precious seconds and create opportunities in a fight.
Hit power is important against a predator but I also think penetration would be just as critical.. thus the FN scar with armor piercing 7.62 for primary. Ruger Blackhawk 44 mag with 2100+fps loads for close/side arm, police Remington 870 magnum with alternating dragons breath, fletch, and defense 12 gauge rounds. Long samurai style sword for blade (as to not get too too close and swing quickly). 338 lapua with armor piercing for distance. And wild card is simply frag grenades.
Primary - M16 with auto, burst and semi equipped with a grenade launcher. Secondary beretta 1301 tactical shotgun Side Arm - grenade launcher pistol Bladed Weapon - Obsidian Sword Lethals - Flashbangs & paintbombs Tactic - cover pred in paint, flash bang, bunch of boom booms, finish him off with the shotgun so no self destruct keep its spaceship and then get offed by my own government to keep everything a secret.
1. Scar-h assault rifle 2.AA-12 shotgun 3. 44. Magnum pistol 4. Kopis - sword 5. C4 remote detention- explosives For me, mixed with the real states of these weapons I feel I can utilize them best.
Mobility would be your most useful attribute against a threat like this so I would go a lot lighter. Primary would be an AR-10 with three beta drum round mags and m203 launcher. Lighter than an LMG, good capacity and stopping power. Picatinny rail for multiple optica. Secondary would be a pistol grip Mossberg 590 with a stock, but short barrel with a side saddle on the stock and a receiver mounted shell holder. 000 buck in one, slugs in the other. Sidearm would be a .44 mag S&W 329PD. Blade is RMJ tomahawk with spike end, can do anything a knife can, and much more. Wildcard is some 1960s "battle drugs" that were tested in Nam. I think my load out is a lot less weight than other's that were mentioned.
If i had to choose any weapons i'd pick m249 saw. Hk416 and a 50 cal sniper rifle and a gurka knife and claymore mines plus frag grenades and molotov cocktales and 50 cal machine gun plus a variety of submachineguns. And shotguns plus getting a tank plus use flechttee
Crossbow, Blowgun, Machete, Flashbang. Stealth and quiet....until the bang throws the predator off guard. The crossbow and blowgun is covered with toxic poison and it wont reveal my position since im mudded up. Machete is useful for upclose decapitation because the predator will mistake me for a tree or a branch. Overall...I just hope its not covered in full body armor lol.
Ight primary sr25 type .308 marksman rifle with low to medium magnification optic(1x-4x) secondary some kinda shot gun that’s easy to carry with at at least 8 shells in the tube. side arm gotta be a .44 mag because predator and knife would be the machete that Billy had in the first movie and wild card would be the break action grenade launcher with like 3 shots to make it fare and I’d win. I wrote this comment before watching the video.
M60: high rate or fire and attach a box mag P90; fire rate M1911: reliability Machete: blade length Intel on the yautja for so I knew what areas to either quickly kill or incapacitate so they can't push the suicide button
For my primary I would have AR15 with and under barrel grenade launcher for my secondary I would have a mossberg 500 12 gauge pump action Shotgun with the full stock to use as a weapon for hand to hand combat And for my side arm I would choose a 1911A1 45 ACP pistol And for my close quarters bladed weapon I would use a survival knife and for a special weapon I would use A tank of gas and some matches to light the jungle on fire so that the predator can't see with his infrared or to light him on fire 🔥
I might’ve gone with something more in the .30 cal range I’ve held a Macmillan and it’s heavy as hell anything chambered in 50 cal is gonna be heavy. .300 win mag would be perfect massive knockdown power decent range and light enough to shoot standing up if needed.
Personally, I'm not much of a gunman, so...grain of salt there. If this is the hot environment the Predators usually favor, ie jungle or city, you might want to focus on closer range and ease of carry. Perhaps an assault rifle and a sawed off shotgun? Ideally you would want a rifle with an infrared scope anyway. As to pistol, I suspect you would want something that reloads faster than a revolver. Suggest a classic model 1911. As to melee, which I do know about, you might want to something with a narrower point for fast thrust. Predators seem to favor sweeping blows at close range, and a weapon suitable for thrusting makes the most of your advantage in speed to minimize their edge in reach and strength. Fun video, though.
6.5 creedmoor that or the new 6-hour army issue dropping with the suppressor division multi-select scope sidearm would be the 2011 handgun the blade would be one of mine that I make wild card either a lot of gunpowder or white phosphorus. For camouflage I would use the area around me for my own ghillie suit
My primary weapon would be a m16 with a drum magazine yes that does exist for medium range engagements,my secondary would be m-14 semi automatic sniper rifle, the side arm will be the desert eagle for the larger magazine capacity than the smith and Wesson, the melee would be like you said the machete, and my surprise card would be a anti personal mine of some kind, If on my last legs and the predator approaching, and you did say it was a bad blood it would be to filled with rage and bloodlust to notice and covered claymore, tripwire or a bouncing Betty mine. There’s is my choice of weapons.
Could a predator take a .50cal sniper round to the head? And carrying a .50cal sniper is possible..i seen a video where dude is carrying 1 n each hand and even fires them both at once multiple times
AA10, 308 semiauto rifle or sorts, A 10mm glock, two handed kukuri, trip mines, seems like u need to have less weight to carry and u would probably lure in the predator not find it or hunt it yourself so I would likely hold up in spot. Anything over ten pounds is a no go for me,
Give me a Scar l with grenade launcher with phosphor Rounds and a acoq as secondary sawed off shotgun as side arm 2011 with reflex site and laser as of knife a couple of kunai and as wildcard claymores
for bladed weapon id use a katana and one of those invisible suits that makes your electromagnetic signal and masks ur heat signature somewhat invsible to animals it would probably mess with the preds vision and helmet. for guns an automatic shotgun for primary secondary some sort of assault rifle . side arm would be a 3.57 magnum with speed reloader
The most dangerous animal in the universe is human because it having powerfull mind . It knows in the time what should be choose in situations if it uses correctly
I wouldn't use a sniper at all because if one let's you see it then it's a trap. An aa12 auto shotgun would be better and you can load it with mini grenades to counter their cloak(blow up an entire area with 30 rd drum yes they exist). Also to eliminate a weapon I'd take a glock 18 with 30 an 50 rd mags. An actual broad sword on my back because let's face it yuatja obviously have longer arms so anything smaller wouldn't work. Finally wildcard should be a dog to alert whenever the yuatja is near because they can sense things better that humans
primary weapon: AA-12 shotgun secondary: 2 desert eagle pistols on the leg strapped holsters. i agree you need a last stand weapon in a blade. but to be honest if you have to get in close you are screwed anyways. i wouldnt go with grenades and biggest reason is they dont seem to be particularly effective i mean dutch set off a few explosives near the predator in the first film and in the movie predators we see the beserker survive like 6 of them strapped to topher graces chest. i think their skin seems to be way to thick and they move to fast for you to throw them anyways. Also there is the potential for them to get hit and blow u up. basically if i cant bring him down with a aa12 or the desert eagles. the fight is already over anyways. wearing combat harness with thermal blocking material is defiently a must have. But also a team of people equally armed guarantees success way more. with them also being equipped with thermal imaging goggles to spot the predator better.
Primary- scar h with 60 round mags (if I can get them) for the larger caliber but still fairly light weight and decent fire rate. Secondary- the kivaari .338 lapua magnum as its semi auto for faster engagement speed at long range but still accurate and probably with some kind of thermal optic to help with finding the predator. Sidearm- G18 with the 30 round mags and loaded with either rip rounds or hollow points for increased damage. Bladed- a katana for the longer reach (or perhaps a long sword due to the two edges) Wild card- C4 with detonator as it can be used to set traps or if need be in the same way as the predators wrist bomb.
You could in fact use primative weapons to take a predator on such as a bow and arrow or a javelin. Another weapon you could technically merge it with these are poisons or toxins. If you manage a clear shot the poisons* might just be able to slow down the predator enough to go for the kill with a blade such as a short sword or hammer. * The poisons would have to be powerful enough to kill a human since the predators ( probably) have a stronger immune system.
OK, Il game (almost literally) Primary - XL 18 Flamethrower - Both massively destructive with a 110m range; both damaging or killing the creature or at the very least giving it a hard time using its vision by igniting the surrounding area. Secondary - Riot shield - Helps keep the heat away and also may block some ranged attacks the Predator may use. Pistol - Silenced semi automatic pistol- If things get desperate OR the fire from my primary has indeed made me harder to find this will still keep the edge in taking shots to weaken it. Bladed weapon - Halberd - it's long and has a three ways to mame or kill; enthisis on its huge spear like tip. Wildcard - Thurmal evasion suit - Nothing to see here until the flamethrower sparks up; nothing to see after the flamethrower goes off. Gameplan - hide in an elevated spot and lie in wait. Make sure I have food and water and sit behind my translucent shield to mask me (maybe cover with some of the surrounding area like vines or some carefully placed dirt or dust) Once the creature stumbles into the area be quick to light the thrower behind the shield and at the base to cover as much light as possible and then stand up with shield on my left arm and flame firing from my right. Seven second bursts aimed at the chest area making sure to cut off retreat if the flame is avoided until it's dead or hiding. Continue the pressure til I'm low on fuel and then drop it and find cover quietly behind my shield sneaking and taking shots at the creature with my pistol (Neck area) If it still lives then it's a stealth Stab approach until it's either dead or I can no longer hide. Take swipes at the legs to try and get it to fall and then stabs to the neck and face. If all else fails save a single pistol shot and shoot the flame thrower tank in close range and HOPE my riot shield saves me. Phew, that's all I got. Wish me luck. Great video, pal.
Setback with the flamethrower. They come from a volcanic world and love the heat. In Arctic climates they have been known to lay against furnaces glowing red hot for comfort, bare skinned........
Primary : AA-12 for mid to close range devastation. Explosive round bonus Secondary : PSE Full Throttle compound bow. Ranged and silent. Lightweight and able to fire standard, poison, tranc and explosive ammo. Sidearm : Desert Eagle 50cal. Nuff said. Melee. : A survival military combat shovel multi tool. All in one to survive , work and combat tool. Wild card : Chaff grenades. Electronic disruptive grenades capable of buying those seconds needed to strike or beat feet when needed.
Man, thank you for these videos. Life has kind of kicked my ass recently, and your stuff about the predators have helped keep my mind off of the bullshit. Edit: I’ll admit I’m not really much into weapons, but I do know I’d like to have a something that allows me to see into infrared/heat vision to better see the yautja (I suspect their cloaking technology doesn’t mask their heat signature). If there were any sort of EMP weapon I feel like that would come in handy as well-it would kill their camouflage, make their mask useless, and get rid of that plasma caster.
