@@way2me I wont disagree. I love them. Just wouldn't drop the 3k needed unless I wanted a single do-it-all track + show wheel. There are better looking wheels out there that you don't always see. TE37 is a victim of its own popularity IMO, I'd rather see a unique multipiece setup at a meet. That said one of my sets is RPF1s, so lol.
Surprisingly I only liked a few of these. I was planning on getting some wheels for this summer but being out of work kinda fucked my bank account :( I'll keep an eye out though. My WRX needs some new shoes...
Ever thought about putting steel wheels on it, and welding soup can lids to it. Who cares if it looks bad. Being broke down in your driveway, no one but you will ever see it
Wedssport SA-10Rs in their limited edition Black Chrome with the deep red halo inside. MMMMMM-MMMMM wouldn't change it for the world on my STI, especially in that Dark Grey Metallic body color
Those are very similar to all these. As a fellow DGM owner, the best looking wheels on our cars doesn't have a picture yet. Work Meiter S1 3P in bronze chrome lips with black faces. The only one I can find with them on IG@ wrx_mark but he is currently wrapped satin grey over DGM. I am getting my 2 Piece Volk's powder coated in a similar scheme IG@ lovemywrx
Can you give us a Full review of the Japan Racing Wheels? The good and the bad things.... The brand have a good wheels styles, the JR3 the most popular "rep Volk TE37"
Those SSRs look way too small. Makes the car look like it is on skateboard wheels. I guess it's the slammed look the owner was going for but it looks more like a Honda Civic. Just my opinion...now the Gram Lites look killer. I guess it is the setup. I give those 11 stars out of 5.
Top 5 wheels for a GTI!!! The euro scene doesn't get enough love (if you're not in a beamer), and I don't know what what wheels to get. Help me out! I've already bought suspension from fitment industries, now I just need the wheels and federal 595s lol
... Easy. Ronal R50 18" Aero. If you can snag the anniversary gold version, do that. But the GTI (Mk?) all gens look good on the Ronals. W/my Mk4 GTI, I learned to look at wheels w/10 spokes or less for easy cleaning and wheels w/deep pcd pockets (area around the lug/bolt holes) look the most aggressive. Mesh wheels are always classy, but motorsports inspired, like Fifteen52 Tarmac/turbomac wheels suit the hatch profile.
Andrew Berndt Dont base and generalize everyone off of this generic ass list lol I’ve seen plenty of wrx’s with unique rims and not this typical spoke style like all the ones in this vid.
Me: "oh cool a video for wheels for my WRX sweet" Also Me: "oh cool a new promo thing for Fitm... Is that a BMW...?" *gagging noises* "MY EYES!" Joke = Subaru good, BMW bad Great video guys!
Too bad the 17s (on my base) blow chunks 🤮... Fewer symmetrical spokes (5) would have been perfect vs the 10 asymmetrical ones the wheel has. Or keep the spoke shape, just reduce the number (5-7 would be the sweet spot)..
multi spoke just looks good. I love this one multi spoke that have rounded off-looking spokes, but I can't find them. And, I want the tires to look fat on the rim but still not rub/interfere with any thing. Does anyone have any idea?
after i bought my wheels and tires from fitment industries whoever balanced the wheels didn't know what they were doing. all my wheels were off balance and I had to deal with steering wheel vibration for almost a month. I had to pay to get them re-balanced... smh... If you suffer from vibrations. move your front wheels to the back, and the back to the front keeping them on the same side. Do one side at a time to see if a certain wheel is off balance.
what, no Avid.1? Enkei makes some really nice wheels; and Subaru contracted with them to make the OE wheels (17")...however, Subaru designed a rather ugly 17" wheel. The OE 17 just needed less spokes and ones that were (more) symmetrical...I guess and ugly stock wheels makes getting new wheels that much more enjoyable.
Most people would go with 18x9.5+38 for the stability but it will poke out half an inch. I personally like 18x9.5+45 better; it flushes with the fender nicely.
I had a lot of trouble understanding this. So this was only from an aestitics point of view? No relation to moment of interia for acceleration/braking, no relation to weight for suspension setup, no relation to strength for pothole resistance, no mention of the alloy's resistance to cracking vs. ductile deformation. And no mention of really cool rims like Momo Heritage? I'm so lost here bro
18" TE37s so I can run a 6-piston BBK up front and my build would be complete (only wish it wasn't a pain in the ass to get a 13:1 steering rack on the USDM GD STI).
Why don't you pick the wheel the Cosmi is knocking off? Only the Professors are good on this list, otherwise these are bland wheels, not top 5 at all. Hell, the new Stock Premium wheels in bronze look better than the other 4.
Depends on the offset! I personally would check our gallery so you can get a better idea of what people are running, heres a link! -Edgar www.fitmentindustries.com/wheel-offset-gallery?sort=yno
@@FitmentIndustries thanks! i have a 19x10.5 +22 (aodhan DS01). i fit them on the car to test, the were fully mounted, the only problem was the tire rubbing to fender in which the tire will be replaced. i just wanted to be safe and sure once i get smaller tires, that there still wont be any wheel space problems?
There shouldn’t be! Again, measure out the clearance get some ideas from the gallery and that’ll be the best way to determine. 🙂 if anything, email wheels@fitmentindustries.com for further help! -Edgar
@@ThjyuGaming he's allowed to have an opinion for what ever he feels, I wouldn't call it ricer but it does make the wheels look cheap with the neochrome and I honestly think all lug nuts without caps are dumb. Though they aren't as bad as those stupid crayons people have poking out.
