Its more pop sure but I dont reconsider it flop. Its just approaching larger fan base and bands needs to change anyway. Their "heavy" stuff gets boring rather quick if theres no variation.
So says who "that album is awesome". So much of it is this awkward electronic-tinged... thing.. this attempt at commercially friendly metalcore but it just sounds like Diet Atreyu. The stuff with Will Putney is solid, but it's easily their weakest yet
Literally, my first thought was how much the new Offspring album hurt me. I love that band and they really broke my heart…talk about letting the bad times roll. :(
Black veil brides and escape the fate used to be my 2 favorite bands. But, i could not get into the new albums. The phantom tomorrow had a couple good songs, but like he said every song sounded the same and overall it was just boring. Hearing Andy talk about the concept did sound interesting, but none of it really came across in the songs. I heard like 3 songs in chemical warfare and haven't brought myself to check out the rest of the album. Good bands, but bad albums
@@francisjamesjupiter9376 yeah wretched and divine was amazing but tbh the other concept albums following it were… mediocre at best. I did like most of vale and phantom tommorow had tons of great riffs and quite a few songs I was really into but all of the “rock operas” if you will get worse and worse, like come on BvB you don’t have to do a “rock opera” every album, I mean your self titled was great too (my mom thought they were Metallica, and tbh that isn’t a very far comparison at least comparing to bvb self titled)
The things that all of these albums have in common: Good bands getting older and cynical and giving in trends. And aaaall of these songs sound sludgy and awful and computerized.
Unfortunately you are right one with the #1. I remember hearing A Day to Remember in a hot topic when they had just released Homesick and just being in awe how fresh and unique it sounded to now when the only song I can play over on You're Welcome is Last Chance to Dance cause it sounds like something the album could have been. I get bands trying new things and growing as people and artists but sometimes a sharp right turn is not what is needed like this record was
But its fine for you to not like an album, that doesnt make it a bad album though. Just because a different group of people listen to the band now doesnt make them "worse" it just means that the hardcore/metal/whatever scene isnt their main demographic atm. I agree, if i wanted to listen to old school ADTR style sounds, this is not the album i'd listen to. I like all kinds of music though and honestly the songs are pretty damn solid overall, it doesnt matter if they arent heavy to me and many others.
Seeing BVB turn “outcasts” into a cliche of their own is so ironic. You’re a massive group of followers claiming to all be unique. At what point are you not unique for being unique anymore?
@@HughesyTech there are thousands of people who can paint Mona Lisa. Does it mean, they are the same level like Da Vinci? No. They are not. Because it’s not about what you can play or re-do, it’s about what you can come up with, about ideas. And he is obviously full of ideas, when he made so many songs in 2021 that he could made like 3 Blink albums. And people actually like it, and we can be happy that kids, who used to listen to rap are now into pop punk and punk rock.
My thoughts on the albums here: Ok Orchestra- I didn’t listen to it and I refuse to listen to it. I’m done with this band. I hated their first 3 albums with a burning passion and each one was worse than the last imo, with Neotheater being my worst album of 2019. So no I’m done with AJR and I will never listen to this album or any project they do in the future. The Phantom Tomorrow- Meh, it’s whatever. Just like Vale from 2018, I was just more bored than anything. AMV fanatics will get something out of it I guess, but I grew out of that phase a long time ago so this does nothing for me. BVB haven’t been good since Wretched & Divine though so I think it’s time for them to either change things up or call it a day. Chemical Warfare- Not My Problem ft. Travis Barker is my worst song of the year. At a time where we’re still getting through the pandemic, the band writes a song complaining about people with a whine factor that could’ve fit perfectly on Asking Alexandria’s album from last year. Other than that song though, I did find this album bad but in a forgettable way. I don’t really remember much else from it tbh. ETF have really fallen off though and haven’t been good since the self titled album from 2010 imo. Let The Bad Times Roll- My least favorite album of the ones that you mentioned that I actually heard. As a big fan of The Offspring, this one hurts. It didn’t quite make my top 5 WOTY thanks to Coming For You and The Opioid Diaries being great songs imo but it came very close. As much as I hate to say it, Dexter is losing it with his voice and it might be time for the band to call it a day. They made their great albums, they shouldn’t further tarnish their legacy. Single Album- I didn’t hear this one but after hearing about it, I really don’t want to. In general I just haven’t heard much of NOFX’s music so I can’t really have an opinion on this. You’re Welcome- I totally get and understand the hate for this album, especially from long time fans. I however never had a history with ADTR, I’ve never been a fan of their music even at the best of times, and therefore me getting angry with this album would be pointless. Sure it has songs that I absolutely despise like Bloodsucker and especially Everything We Need, but as a whole I just don’t care about it one way or the other. For long time fans, I completely understand and respect their hatred over this, but as someone who isn’t and never was a fan outside of a couple of songs all I can do is shrug my shoulders. It’s not good but I don’t care. I also will not listen to the new Attila album or any of the 9 Psycho Synner albums. They’re worthless to me.
Escape The Fate was a disappointment, since this is the year that a lot of “scene” bands that went soft are going heavy again. I was hoping they would make a super heavy album with guitar solos like Monte (former guitarist)’s, but no, they gave us a trap-driven, watered down pop-punk album instead. EDIT: also, they didn’t include their drummer, Robert, in it. For some reason, they had Brandon Saller and Travis Barker record all the drums on it
I think Thrasher played a big part in why the new album sounds that way considering he’s been writing with Mgk, Avril and stuff but at least we have Dead Rabbitts for Craig’s heavier side 🤷♂️
I was excited that The Offspring were putting out a new album this year. Too bad to hear that it wasn't worth the wait. And I kind of cracked up at hearing you refuse to listen to Atilla or Psychowhatevertheyrecallingthemselvesthesedays.
"How did the new Offspring album turn out? About as well as a hack comedian reading dad jokes on open mic night with some four-chord guitar riffs behind him." So, TRAIN, basically? Yea, if you ever do a Regretting The Past on TRAIN, that's their genre: Dad Joke Rock.
@@williampusey8266 worst part is, Hefty Bag isn’t even their worst lyric. Not when compared to half the lyrics of Hey Soul Sister (“My heart is bound to beat right out my untrimmed chest” and “So gangsta I’m so thug” especially), the entire bridge of Drops of Jupiter (where he compares missing him to missing fried chicken and soy lattes), the choruses of Meet Virginia (“Well she wants to live her life, then she thinks about her life, holds her head back as she screams, ‘I don’t really wanna live this life’.” Deep, man), or any lines in 50 Ways to Say Goodbye (“Fell in a cement mixer full of quicksand” and “She’ll think I’m Superman, not super minivan, how could you leave on Yom Kippur” being examples). Heck, that’s probably not even the worst lyric of Drive By, especially with lines like “My love for you went viral” and “Mmm the way you do me” accompanying it!
I thought the songs where pretty good on the Offspring album but the production was just really poor. Songs like Behind Your Walls, Hasan Chop and The Opioid Diaries would fit in perfectly with some of their best albums which is why I can’t put the album even close to the top 5 worst albums of the year.
Offspring fans: "OMG its been nine years since our last album!!!" Manu chao fans: *crying in the corner* "he-he'll come b-b-back. He'll come back, y-yes!"
Never been a big BVB fan but it's a shame because Andy Biersack's solo work under the name Andy Black is really quite good, feel like he has more to offer
I am, but they'll never top Green Day. They also won't top Sum 41 or Yellowcard. However, I put Black Veil Brides above all the other pop punk bands like Fall Out Boy, Blink 182, The Wonder Years, All Time Low, New Found Glory, Waterparks, The Story So Far, Good Charlotte, State Champs, Boston Manor, The Starting Line, Bowling For Soup, All American Rejects, Real Friends and As It Is.
I literally cried because of how bad chemical warfare was. Had I heard the album on the radio I would’ve never guessed it was escape the fate. The band that got me really into music let me down😪
I saw ADTR on the Re-Entry Tour in Springfield, MO, and I thought the songs they played from You're Welcome sounded fine. I think they tried to go as big as they could on this album, even signing to Fueled By Ramen, just to get this out of their system. Songs like Mindreader and Last Chance To Dance (Bad Friend) are solid songs on the album but are the only ones worth coming back to on this album.
I’m not gonna agree with the BVB album for one reason, it’s more of just bland and unnoticeable than bad, which is a lot of their stuff. It’s just kinda there. I don’t think it should be here though
I completely agree. I personally find it very inconsistent how he always trashes Limp Bizkit, Creed and Nickelback, yet always praises Three Days Grace. I'm like "Three Days Waste is NO BETTER than all the other bands you routinely trash!"
@@RockedNet as a Canadian who lived in the same area as Three Days Grace, I can only say this... they're nothing special. but I agree, when have you ever showered them with praise? I've seen a lot of your videos and I don't remember you saying anything positive about them. I saw them live once at the Peterborough Memorial Centre opening for... oh, god, forgive me for this... opening for Nickelback 🤢🤢🤢 TDG easily put on the best show of the night, but when the rest of the bill is The Trews and Nickelback, that's not hard to accomplish
Yeah i'm also a big Offspring fan and this hurts. Not only the immaturity and lack of inspiration but the godawful production style. A few of these songs could've been saved with proper production but unfortunately. I've given up on NOFX a long time ago, they're trying to market the 'look how punk we are, we do zero effort' trope, but that can't last forever. Especially knowing what they used to be capable off, trolling in a way more clever manner. I don't hate these groups for it and i'll like still check out a few live shows of them, but i won't really care for new material. They are truly getting old, but instead of embracing it like some other bands, they still seem in denial.
Let the bad times roll has a lot of killer music on there, but I do agree that the production is all over the place. And after nine years I too was expecting a little more. Can’t agree with everything else though. They may be older but they still got it, as the album does have some great music on there (albeit poor production) Also they still sound amazing Live
Yeah I was a huge Offspring fan for many years but I haven't liked their last two albums at all but I told myself at least I still have my respect for them.......then they fire Pete over a vaccine and sue Greg k. and that respect went out the window.
Let the Bad Times Roll may not the greatest album never but “The Opioid Diaries” really hits hard and shows how messed up pharmaceutical companies are.
I made a top 5 worst albums of 2021 list myself on RYM. Snobby I know. Putting You're Welcome on the list at #1 was really painful, but it's genuinely how I felt about it. I even listened to Drake and OneRepublic's new albums and none of those albums were as bad as You're Welcome.
In NOFX defense, Single Album really helped me out through some really hard times during a lockdown while I was stuck in Germany. Fat Mike singing bout depression, drug abuse, disease, getting older, heartache n humanity’s failure through that snarky sarcastic nofx filter was exactly what I needed to get through some really hard times. I understand it’s not everyone’s jam. But some of us old punk rocker’s really needed this one. Otherwise, great list.
That may be the case and yes while that may make the album special to you that doesn't objectively make it a good album. Anyone can have a album, song, or movie that helped them get through a bad time or makes them remember good times. I love St Anger because at the time it came out I was going through a rough time dealing with abuse by my mothers boyfriend at the time the album is special for me it was also my first metallica album I was 12 at the time it came out but I understand most people say it's a bad album. I would say it's not as bad as people say but it's their worst by far. I'm happy you got through hard times and Nofx helped you cherish the album but try to see how people who don't have the same experience would see it.
Another example I just thought of is the reverse My mothers favorite movie is Trick or Treat the bad 80s Metal movie because her bf at the time took her to the theaters to see it on their first date then a year or so later he was killed in a car crash so the movie makes her think of him and that date so it's special to her but it's a terrible movie even Gene Simmons and Ozzy who were in the movie said it was terrible but she loves it.
@@rickyhunt4075 music is inherently subjective my dude, you cant say what objectively makes a good song. While I agree Fat Mike's singing on the album sounds completely blown out and shot, that doesn't change someone's enjoyment of the songs themselves.
@@BUBBA1207 I agree all art is subjective I mean I'm sure somewhere someone is defending Creed, Limp Bizkit, Imagine Dragons, or I've heard people Defend Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer. I mean but I'm sure there's people that loved it I haven't listened to all of it I heard a few songs and it didn't make me want to give the others a chance tbh. Sadly Mikes voice is gone it happens to a lot of singers but I think most people including some of their biggest fans were disappointed in the album. For me personally I cringe at the lyrics and antics I mean these guys are too old for this. Lots of older artists and bands have made great music while accepting their age. Don't try so desperately to fit in or get attention it's just kinda sad imo anyway.
@@ragingstauner6109This is true to an extent. But let's not forget that Dexter was already well into his 30's when Offspring really took off. I remember reading a little blurb in Rolling Stone about "Pretty Fly For A White Guy", and being shocked when it mentioned he was 37. To me it's not so much that they got old and kept making a young man's music, but more that the sense of fun just wore off and began to seem forced.
@@ragingstauner6109 Nah, I think that sadness really does depend on the band playing the music. Bad Religion and Descendents are older than The Offspring and NOFX, and I don't get that feeling about them.
I forgot about Stirling being on the escape the date album. I was excited about that when it came out since I had just wanted Stirling to get involved in more rock (I generally love her music but the past years there’s been too many pop leanings) but that song was so forgettable… that I forgot about it until this video
I have heard some of the songs that Psycho Synner put out this year, and I kid you not when I say this: there is a song one of their 9 albums titled “The Torture Never Stops”. …I mean, at least the band is somewhat self-aware of how awful their “music” is, I’ll give them that.
I've already spotted one of my favorite albums of the year in the thumbnail. I somehow listened to Let the Bad Times Roll so much, that playing Green Day 24 hours a day for a week hasn't been enough to make Green Day my most played band. Is it possible to play a song so much that Spotify starts skipping like a worn out record or cd? That would be good for you guys that hated I guess, Haha. Okay, I'm about to watch the video, but if you absolutely hate that album, can I at least get some respect for Behind Your Walls?
So before the bvb album came out they played the album on repeat for an entire day at hot topic and I was working that day. It was OK the first 2 times but 6 hours later it was bad. I don't ever wanna hear that album again.
It's interesting that both The Offspring and NOFX albums are just 50% of what were supposed to be double albums. NOFX made a bad pun of it and called it "single album" while The Offspring talked about two records, one punk and one pop record, but went this way with a few fillers on it instead. Musicians should maybe learn to just cut out the bad ideas interely if they want their records to be truely appreciated?
That's why The Offspring is usually very quick to cut out lot of new material from live-shows, because except 'you're gonna go far kid', nothing of the last 3 albums really worked with the crowds. They just don't seem to be able to get the feeling back of their old songs, but i'm sure they are aware. They do make poor choices with production though and that's not helping. In NOFX case, this 'not caring, not trying' is the exact concept they try to sell today. They very well know it's a bad but they're just trying to insult their fans as much as possible these days. They're trying to be a parody on the trope punk bands not being supposed to do effort to be considered true punk, but they're going far too meta with this.
@@Nessafox4670 I actually liked The Offsprings last 3 albums You're gonna Go Far kid isn't the only good thing on there Hammerhead, Kristy Are you doing Okay are pretty good.
My pick for the worst is the new Maroon 5 album. They managed to make songs that sound like nothing, that’s the only way I can describe it. Songs so boring that they practically don’t exist. At least the new ADTR is somewhat entertainingly bad.
Because Maroon 5 has been a sell out for a good decade and a half now. Why would anyone seek for anything new and progressive from them? They're too comfortable being sell outs.
I wouldn't trust Dexter Holland; he looks like the type of guy that would go to the future, buy a sports almanac, then travel back to the present just so he can open a casino.
Good list, your choices are understandable. Even if I don't dislike new BVB album, I agree that it's generic af. My list is: Dishonorable mentions: AJR-OK Orchestra, Chase Atlantic-Beauty in Death, Escape the Fate-Chemical Warfare, Drake-Certified Lover Boy, Lorde-Solar Power, Maroon V-Jordy, Oh the Horror-1692 10-Pop Evil-Versatile 9-Hippo Campus-Good Dog, Bad Dream 8-Fawn Limbs- Darwin Falls 7-Atreyu-Baptize 6-Iron Maiden- Senjutsu 5-The Offspring- Let the Bad Times Roll 4-Crusade- Rising Visionary 3-Icon for Hire- Amorphous 2-Waterpakrs- Greatest Hits 1-A Day to Remember- You’re Welcome Yeah my number one worst is also ADTR, because as someone who considered them to be in my top 10 all time favorite bands, this album was so bad, soulless and worthless that it was enough to knock them out of top 10 and become my biggest disappointment of all time. I don't think there is an album which disappointed me more than this one. Hope they will improve next time, cause I won't give up on them after one garbage album. If 2nd appears, I turn into full on doomer
A big part of the disappointment for me also comes because of the 16 month wait where they stopped the album coming out themselves, had all that time, and then released THIS.
@@RockedNet Considering that their last album before YW came out in 2016, we had to wait even longer than 16 months overall to get new ADTR and we got...we got what we got
Here's my Top 10 worst: 10.) AFI- Bodies 9.) Atreyu- Baptized 8.) Olivia Rodrigo- Sour 7.) Twentyonepilots- Scaled & Icy 6.) Fuel- Anomaly 5.) AJR- OK Orchestra 4.) Maroon 5- Jordi 3.) Capstan- SEPARATE 2.) A Day To Remember- You're Welcome 1.) The Offspring- Let The Bad Times Roll!
Whoa I know that Olivia Rodrigo pick might be a hot take since a lot of people loved that album. I thought it was solid personally so I don’t think it’s worst of the year material, but I’m not in love with it like everyone else. The other picks are understandable though… 😂
@@gcolbyp Honestly 2021 was a really great year for music if only on the fact that there wasn't a whole lot of "Easy Targets" None of these albums (minus the last 2) are what I'd call terrible, especially not Olivia Rodrigo (given how Sour is the only debut album on here) but I wasn't too impressed with it either. Not great. Not terrible. Just a bit mediocre.
the phantom tomorrow had a few good singles, but the rest is really meh. i'm gonna see them live on the trinity of terror tour next year and they're definitely my least anticipated band on that tour, hope they're at least good live.
I saw A Day To Remember in Rochester, NY in September, on the opening night of their Re-Entry tour. While I didn't like You're Welcome at all, they mostly played the better songs from it. Last Chance To Dance, Resentment, and Permanent came out really well live. I can live without the rest
I agree with what you said, I saw them at Rockville when they subbed in along with Slipknot for Deftones and NIN and came to the same opinion that the songs from You’re Welcome sounded much better live. It does kind of seem like they know that the album isn’t great in the slightest but there are some bright spots on it and they’re gonna play those if any from it. Also not surprised that you listed Last Chance and Resentment cause those were my faves from it as well and probably is the consensus top 2 from others who have listened to it.
@@RApollos107 I've heard a lot of people say they like Permanent as well. I'm still not a huge fan of Degenerates or Everything We Need, but I pretty much figured they'd play them. Mindreader was good live too. I just wish the bridge was better
I saw them in September, and while I firmly dislike You’re Welcome as an album, some of the songs are really strong individually. They played Resentment, Last Chance, Permanent, Rescue Me, Degenerates and Everything We Need. All of those songs translated very well to a live setting and were totally enjoyable. Edit: They also played Mindreader, which was very good as well.
@@pacificdrumma I agree with you! I liked the studio version of Rescue Me, but I thought it was way better live. Even Everything We Need came out better live.
I was at that show as well( lives in buffalo) and as a guy that seen ADTR 17 times then never put on a bad show... while you're welcome wasn't my favorite album.... I'm sure there a worst albums then this one.... agree with everything you said.... but I disagree that this is a top 5 worst from 21 hahahaha... everything we need. Is a tear jerker for me
Travis Barker's agrent is who you go to if you manage to develop name value and want to stay ever present no matter what people think. Dude is a magician for keeping him Travis relevant.
Regarding Cokie The Clown, I think this might be a result of Fat Mike trying to channel Daniel Johnston. The opening track definitely reminded me of the opener on Hi, How Are You.
It was painful yes for ADTR but I still really enjoy resentment. Also the acoustic ep that came out was so much more satisfying which hurts even more. But that's just my opinion.
As a huge escape the fate fan (saw them 13 times, have 3 escape the fate tattoos) chemical warfare was their worst album. There are a couple of good songs on the album but after that I was so disappointed in it but I still support them since they are overall super sweet guys and they do have talent once they get over the phase of trying to be mainstream 🤷🏻♀️
The only one from these I listened to is You're Welcome and boy what a disappointment. I didn't even finish listening to it and then completely forgot about it. (I'll spare you all the puns) I hope they return to form with the next one. Bad Vibrations is my second favourite but looks like going independent didn't work out for them for some reason.
As someone who listened to ALL 9 albums from Psycho Synner...believe me when I say that you are not missing a thing! 😂 That worm of a lead singer from that band responded to my comment on one of their videos saying that Psycho Synner music makes FFDP look like a beginner band. 😂 Bottom line, FFDP and Nickelback will never have the worst song again things to Jeremy "devil daddy" Spencer.
@@aperson4287 I agree they're consistent and I'm a huge fan, but concrete and gold had 2 good songs on it and medicine at midnight is just... Kinda depressing.
On the bright side Authority Zeros Ollie Ollie Oxen Free album was one of the best as they still managed their punk sound - most aggressive since their album 12-34
Best is “The Silver Scream 2”. I LOVE ASSAULT & BATTERIES! I actually haven’t heard the entire album yet but I’ve heard all the songs that play on SIRIUS XM Octane! Hip To Be Scared, Rainy Day, and as I said Assault and Batteries are EPIC! I LOVE ASSAULT & BATTERIES! It’s been STUCK IN MY HEAD EVER SINCE I HEARD IT!
So, basically the worst of this year can be summed up as "washups and has-beens." Kinda like that Danzig album from last year, but stretched out much further.
You're Welcome had some solid tracks imo (Mindreader, Last Chance to Dance, Resentment, and Permanent) but those aren't enough to feel absolutely disappointed by the album. I really hope they can improve on the next album.
When I went back and later in the year, the songs I even thought were passible felt like a chore to get through. I also hope they can improve on the next album.
Offspring's album grows on you. It's more a guilty pleasure at this point. Not great, but not completely terrible either. Wouldn't call it the worst of 2021 when the year had plenty of shit.
I didn’t hear much from any of these albums but I guess I’m not missing much. I’m glad I saw the Offspring when I did, I definitely wouldn’t pay $$ to see them now
You're Welcome by ADTR is definitely their weakest album, no denying that. But at the same time, I actually liked it aha XD I like all of their albums. Best songs off it in my opinion are Degenerates, Resentment, Brick Wall, Mindreader, Permenant, Bloodsucker & Everything We Need.
I deny it. I like it. Bad Vibrations was more boring especially the heavier songs like Paranoia and Bad Vibrations. Unlike most metal fans, I'm not an elitist. I can enjoy Imagine Dragons and Coldplay, which is why my opinion often disagrees with opinionated rock/metalheads. Very catchy album.
@@UndeadOmens I don't understand the hate Bad Vibrations received. I love that album. You're Welcome is worse, but still has some good songs on it. To me I can't think of any song off Bad Vibrations that is bad. I love the song Paranoia, to me it's one of their best songs.
For me I think Atreyu’s new album this year was the most disappointing. I had high hopes, then I heard warrior which is simplistic which is being nice. Although as a single I could get past it, and then the album dropped and I realized the whole thing is like that. It was kind of soul crushing considering it was the only thing I was even kind of looking forward to this year.
This is exactly how I felt about it. I popped it on getting ready to hear the hard hitting stuff I've come to expect of Atreyu and thought Warrior might be the one off softer one of the album. I got bored 3 songs in which was crushing.
@@descendintostanarchy yea same here. I look forward to the harder hitting stuff both musically and emotionally but the new album had neither. It was the worst kind of disappointment because it wasn’t like crash and burn terrible, it was just boring. Atreyu is capable of so much more as a band and as artists.
@@bullet4myex187 if you want something really great from this year, Eyes Wide Open released an album called Through Life And Death and its everything I wanted in the Atreyu album
Worst album for me - Limp Bizkit's Still Sucks. Why? Because they're still making music at all. But for my personal and actual "worst" album has got to be Senjutsu. Mainly because the mixing on that album was poor and a little muddled, that I could barely hear Bruce on some of the tracks. Is it the worst album because it's Iron Maiden? No, it's worst album because the production let it down.
Gotta love ADTR making a generic pop rock album is the worst of the year. Guess the new direction from generic metalcore/punkmetal didn't really play out to well. I thought the album was fine over all. If the rose-colored glasses for this band didn't exist yeah it would still be bad, but worst album of the year? Nah.
I get why The Phantom Tomorrow is on the list. I enjoy a handful of the songs. They do have just one sound, but it works since I go to them for that one specific sound.
I'm a huge fan of The Offspring ... I got every studio release from their self-titled debut through "Days Go By" ... but I never bothered to get LTBTR. Probably said a lot that the local rock station (WMMR) only ever played the title track from the album. Perhaps at some point I'll just get it, but I wasn't keen on it before, and I'm only less inclined now.
I also am a huge fan and have every album on cd. And a few on vinyl. But this new one felt like there wasn't much effort and it's a very short album and his voice just sounds way to overly processed. Very disappointed. There were like 3 songs I thought were ok
@@Coyotek4 Y 100 was great especially in the mid 90s when they would play all sorts of alternative rock and even at one point they had a lunch hour in which they’d play stuff from the 80’s. Listening to that station at that time was magical because whenever they said they were gonna play something new it was almost always an instant classic from Pearl Jam, Radiohead or Green Day. WMMR is still decent but I used to crank the radio on the job site framing houses so WYSP was a little bit heavier with its rotation and got me moving. And in the early 90’s we still had Eagle 106 which was playing Dream Theater’s “Pull Me Under” when that was first released as a single.
