The ONLY way to play Star Wars is in the full-size cabinet. The best part of that cabinet was the fact you had speakers all around you. The bad part was the 13" vector monitors were prone to failure and hard to repair them or find replacements.
They had this at the Portsmouth arcade and it was awesome. Think it was actually 20p a game then as well. One of the more expensive ones, but sitting in the cabinet with full surround was pretty amazing
I am sorry for making so many postings, but I grew up in the 80s, and going to my local arcades was my life. Over the years, reading about the history of the games and how they came to be really piqued my interest.
Never apologise. RU-vid is a social place and when it's a subject youre passionate about, it's hard to resist joining in the conversation. A similar story as myself (I'm 52) and the bright lights, sounds, crowds round an arcade machine (especially a 4 player gauntlet) was pretty amazing especially as they only cost 10p a go back then lol
Your wire-framed character in the arcade game Punch-Out!! was NOT named Little Mac. He was nameless. The reason he was drawn as he was is so that you could see what your opponent was doing. When it was released on the NES under the title "Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! and the re-release "Punch-Out!!," (with Mr. Dream replacing Mike Tyson via a simple palate swap) it was then your character was named Little Mac. Instead of creating a nameless wire-framed character for the NES release, that is when Little Mac was born.
You have far too much info and time on your hands lol, but I do thank you for your info. The problem with doing research on each game is often the wrong information is recorded
Bombjack was and still is my fave. Also Mr Do’s Castle, Nemesis, Side Arms, Rastan Saga, Time Crisis, Commando, Scramble, Pleiades, Buck Roger’s, Marble Madness, New Zealand Adventure, Mad Planets, Strider, Rolling Thunder….
You'll see some of those in my next series as will be doing the 90s. Time Crisis and many similar games came out then. Nemesis was a damn fine game and pretty sure R-Type ripped it off (if I'm thinking of the right game)
@@bordeelcontroleur Bombjack was a great game, but wasn't my list of games, was a list voted on by thousands of net users. Would be unfair just to do a list of my own faves from that decade.
Wow. These are actually games I played and enjoyed. Usually these videos are full of games that I think were only popular in brothels, red-light districts, and bomb shelters.
Luckily I've never been to a brothel, red light district or bomb shelter. Guess it all depends on how well your local arcades kept their games updated. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment. Much appreciated.
When Gauntlet was released, Atari was a little skeptical of having four complete strangers playing with each other, but it worked. There was also a 2-player version which allowed you to choose your fighter.
@@SwobblyDoesStuffLooking for this arcade game that was a horizontal shooter. Can't remember the name for nothing but really great game. Had to be 87 to 89.....you could play as a male or female I believe with crazy looking guns (think aliens). It was on some sc fi. Do you think you could find it or know what I'm talking about? I thought it was alien syndrome but that's not it
Great video. I'd throw out there Sinistar ("I LIVE"), GORF (multiple classic challenges), and Crazy Climber. And the absolutely comical, Journey game, where fan rush the stage and the the band has to defend itself! Absolutely a LOL game to play! Thoughts?
Thank you, your kind words are most appreciated. The games you mention (apart from the last one) were in the top 100, but not the top 50. Sinister and gorf were both favourites of mine.
At the place I worked in the 80s there was a Donkey Kong machine. One of my co-workers (Tony) would come in early to play the game and insert his quarters. He prided himself on being #1 on the leader board. He would get so angry when someone would beat his score. He would keep playing until he was #1 again. With the number of quarters he put into that thing, he could have probably bought the arcade machine for his home!
That's so true in many places that there was always one person who wanted #1 and would spend like crazy to win it back. I was like that with Yie ar Kung Fu at one point.
Great list of games. Played the daylights out of a lot of these as a kid. Still playing them on a PS2 and Atari 2600 today. Even got my 9 year old grandson hooked.
Fun fact: Kung-Fu Master was actually developed by Irem, but published by Data East outside of Japan. They would even release a (spiritual) sequel, Vigilante, in 1988. Of note, how on Earth is R-Type not on this list?
King Fu master is a classic for sure and thank you for that bit of info. Quite a few games had different publishers depending where it originated from. No clue why R-Type wasnt as one of the best side scrolling shoot em ups out there. It was in the vid of extra games from the decade but sadly, not voted high enough on the list I used. It was definitely one of my favourites of that genre.
Where were Moon Cresta, Green Beret, Scramble, Championship Sprint, Gorf, Rad Mobile, Phoenix, Arkanoid, Space Harrier, Ikari Warriors or even Pong? Still a great look back though
Some great games, but sadly not in the top 50 that was voted for by tens of thousands of arcade fans. Moon Cresta was a personal fave though but Space Harrier annoyed the hell out of me lol
Man do these games bring back a ton of great memories.Glad to still have my PS2/PS3 and OXBOX/Xbox 360 and Gamecube/Wii as many of these consoles got the compilation of many of these games. Also for gamers who got the the Ms.Pac-man game either on one of the compilation or have it digitally to keep it safe as you can't get the game on any store site any more.
The memories flooded back playing each and every one of them, even the ones I really didn't do well on as I remember being that bad the first time round. I'm so glad games are preserved in time with emulation but nothing quite like playing the original arcade machine, or on a home made one.
It was a really tough game. I was terrible at it. A coin eater. I learnt eventually which games I was good at to get the best value and then watch the experts on their games for fun.
BombJack / Mr Do / StarForce / Astro Blaster / Bezerk / LadyBug / SiniStar / Lunar Rescue / Ikari Warriors & Super Sprint... A Quick 10 from The Golden Age of Video Games... (Mic-Drop : Booom !!!)
Sadly none of these were voted by the many thousands of people on the internet to be in the top 50. Bezerk was quite a fave of mine back in the day as was LadyBug. SiniStar i really enjoyed as well as reminded me of Defender with a twist. Have quite a few of these game on shorts actually. Take a look.
Popeye was not published by Taito as Swobbly stated, but by Nintendo. Nintendo wanted to publish Popeye first with the same style of gameplay as the classic game Donkey Kong, but could not acquire the rights at the time.
I remember all these games in the arcades at the time. The noise, sticky carpet, cigarette smoke in the air as a kid. I maybe only had 30p for 3 games at the time then I would watch others over their shoulder for hours as entertainment like pre You Tube, etc today on screen. I would give the following a mention Xybots, Scramble, Arcade Pool, Gryzor, R-Type, Sub Wars, Ace chaser, and Firefox. There were soooo many back then. All games were extremely difficult and made to be coin eaters to extract cash from players, but at least the games were good and fun, yet so frustrating at the same time. Nice to see Battlezone getting a mention. Galaxians and Galaga were my go toos at the time I wasn't too bad at those games. I loved Defender, but wow was it tough. When I was older my friends and i pumped money into Gauntlet and Xybots with multilayer to progress those games. I wish I had a table top version of Galaxians right now. I loved those in the pubs and clubs back the late 80s.
From your reply, I'd guess you're a similar age to myself and had a pretty similar experience with arcade games. 30p gone in minutes but eventually lasting quite a while. For me Defender and Yiear Kingfu 30p would have been the whole evening gone (eventually) Galaxians was such a cool game, but why not build your own cabinet? You can buy a kit for any type nowadays.
Ms. Pac-man was a hack of Pac-Man originally called Crazy Otto which was developed by two programmers known as General Computer Corp. They initially released a hack for Missle Command called Supper Missle Attack which made the game a lot more challenging. When Atari caught wind of this, they gave General Computer a cease and desist order. But they B.S.ed their way into getting Crazy Otto published by Namco but changed it to Ms. Pac-Man. The first woman of arcade games.
The original Tapper arcade cabinet had a brass footrest like those you would find at a bar back in the 70s. The game developers wanted to add belching to the game. So they sat around drinking beer and recording their belches. Then the idea was tossed due to sound chip issues. Midway initially published this game for sports bars and the like hence being sponsored by Budweiser. The game proved to be a success. They wanted to sell it to arcades but changed the name to "Root Beer" Tapper so it could appeal to all audiences of all ages. Here is a little Easter Egg. On either version of the game, if you hold down both taps on the title screen, a list of the game's developers will pop up.
Wow, thanks for the info. Would have been amazing if old sound chips could belch! Would make the game so much fun to play. Always wondered where the "Root Beer" part came from
There are quite a few games out there that swallow coins just to continue. House of the dead would be one or me. All designed to keep you hooked in and take all your coinage. Got to love em though.
An old friend of mine helped write an old computer version. C64 one I think for a company called animated pixels. Tis a great game and a 3 player arcade experience which is rare for any game to allow 3 players at once.
Love Rampage, I played it a lot in the arcade and it was the first game I saw on the Sega Master system and I was blown away. It was the first time we started using the phrase "Arcade Perfect". It's nowhere near Arcade perfect but it was the closest looking game to it's Arcade counterpart on a home console we had seen at that time.
The best way to experience After Burner is in the extremely rare Cockpit version. Especially one that is fully functional. Not only do you actually climb into the cockpit of the game, but the cabinet actually rotates in the direction you are flying your jet to give you the feeling that you are actually flying a jet.
I remember something like that in the arcade as not all had buttons to smash. Also remember on my Sinclair spectrum 48k, using a small golf ball to wobble between two rubber keys to make it run faster lol
I've never seen a track ball mod for TrackNfield. I used a pencil ontop of my pointer finger and under the others. See-Saw action.. It worked real good..
For 30 years I have wished I could remember a certain specific arcade game. It had a joystick that did all the directional things they do, but it also turned clockwise/counterclockwise allowing the player to spin around and shoot anywhere regardless of the direction they went. You could blow up pretty much everything and each floor was full of computer terminals you just had to blast cause you could. It was kind of a 3-D layout and a third-person perspective that looked down onto the gameplay from a 45degree angle. I only saw it in one arcade and I don’t think I played it many times before it was gone but it was ahead of its time in the late 80s and for some reason it really stuck in my mind.
I found it!!!spent many hours since commenting sifting thru late 80’s arcade games and just now came across it! It’s called “Escape from the planet of the Robot Monsters”! No wonder I forgot the title. It’s from 1989 and still looks good for its age. Now I just need to play it again! Wow I can’t believe I finally found it!
13:24 Oddly enough the Javelin was the event I was best at in Track and Field. I also discovered an Easter egg: if you throw the javelin straight into the air and it goes offscreen, you’ll hit a duck and get 1,000 points. Hilarious.
When the movie TRON was released, Mattel snatched up the rights to publish three different games for the Intellivision. Tron Deadly Discs, Tron Maze-A-Tron, and Tron Solar Sailer which required the IntelliVoice synthesizer.
Wow I played everything in this video back in the day in an arcade somewhere! 😍 and Mario brothers was a in the arcade ... as a stand alone cabinet. Most games I even know where I was... idk if that's good or bad 🤣
What it does show you is that gaming was a very emotional thing for you when you were younger as you can remember each and everyone and where and when it was. Very similar to me. The first time you play a game you love.... You know
I get this. I was a proper arcade junkie kid too. I remember which arcade which game was in, how old I was at the time etc etc. Your’e not the only weirdo 😂👍
@@SwobblyDoesStuffFor real, different games from my youth definitely bring back memories of the places I played the games. I especially remember the social club my parents belonged to had a game room with a pool table, Mr. Do's Castle, and Tron. Fond memories of those games even though I sucked at them because I always loved going there and had fun with the other kids. I did however get pretty good at shooting pool!
One of my all time favourites. It was tough enough at the time, but there was nothing like at the time. I found it really to be a seriously tense game for me as a kid. There is a semi decent version of it for free on Andriod to play for the memories at least..
Thank you and welcome aboard. I tried not to watch other people's vids that were similar in content and just do my thing. Hopefully that comes across as something people want to watch and they enjoy
Good choice of games. If I could recommend my favorite arcade game is, Tron of Discs. Try it, you'll like it. You said you had the Intellivision, so did I. I used to have all the Tron games on the system including Tron Solar Sailor on the Intellivoice. I really cherish those moments as a child
Pretty positive I've played Tron Discs game in the arcade and also sure there was a decent version on the Amiga (But could be wrong). Intellivison was a bizarre console with the strangest controller ever. Some games so easy to control and others impossible. Was fun though
Actually, the title of the games to which you are referring to are Tron Solar "Sailer" for the Intellivision, and Discs of Tron in the arcade. Only at one arcade did I ever see the version where you actually stepped into the cabinet and played standing up. I think that was called the environmental cabinet.
Nice video. There was an interesting LCD handheld version of Zaxxon that had a dual layer screen so you could fly up and down. It was a lot more fun to play than the arcade version.
That actually sounds like a pretty cool way to play Zaxxon. I'd probably find it so much easier and more fun that way! Thanks for leaving a comment as well, much appreciated.
Obviously this kind of Top 50 is always going to be subjective (where did the votes come from by the way?) and there's bound to be folks disagreeing with a lot of the positions due to personal choice, bias and favouritism but I do like the way you stuck a few arcade legends in there that sometimes get overlooked in other charts, ie Joust, Defender, Asteroids, Time Pilot and pleased to see Frogger included - so good work there. I'm not sure I saw Scramble - that definitely needs to be in the top 30. Can't recall Ladybug or Space Chaser or the Taito winner Lunar Rescue. Not sure why Xevious wasn't higher, totally agree that Galaga is brilliant (much better than Donkey Kong!) and finally - a classic review of so many classics makes this a classic feedback - well done Mr Swobbly! GAME ON, FELLA!
Thanks for joining the conversation. The list was from ranked, which has many similar type voted lists. It was one of the few out there that actively showed people voting rather than someone's own made up list. I did a follow up vid with games I felt should have been in the list but there were still some missed out. I'd much rather have a mix of people agreeing and disagreeing though if I had my own personal list of my favourites, I'm sure most would disagree lol. I enjoy the stories people have of their games as well. But more than anything, it's been fun playing some amazing old games. Especially Galaga and also the discovery of Gaplus
Tetris was NOT originally published or developed by Nintendo. Atari acquired the rights to make an arcade version of the game. Nintendo quickly acquired the rights to publish its version for the original Game Boy, hence why it was a pack-in game, When it came to the home version for the NES, Nintendo filed a lawsuit against Tengen, Atari's unlicensed publisher of games for the NES. The only thing that I know about the lawsuit is that Nintendo won and Tengen was ordered to destroy all copies of their version of the game. Many people, including myself, consider the Tengen version the better of the two.
I would have chosen Bump N Jump. Probably not very many people remember this game. I was able to play almost everyday because it was at a gas station near by
I must throw the red flag on Galaxian. That game was released in 1979. It is not an 80s title in the proper sense. I can see why you would think that it is though since it is perhaps one of the first true color arcade games. Asteroids would also be banned from this list unless you intend to put Asteroids Deluxe in its place... As for Space Invaders? Yeah, that's one of the greatest games from the 70s too, but Space Invaders Deluxe was made in 1980 so perhaps you can still save that game's spot on your list by calling it Space Invaders Deluxe (Midway 1980). Many folks have mentioned Sinistar and Mappy being absent from this list. Other notables missing include Lady Bug, Scramble, Berserk, Altered Beast, UN Squadron, Frenzy, Jungle Hunt (King), Congo Bongo, Tutenkham, Robocop, Bad Dudes vs Dragonninja, Return of the Jedi, Firefox, Mach 3, Astron Belt, Motorace USA, Hang On(and Super Hang-On), Carnival, Kick Man, Space Harrier, Golden Axe, Super Pac-Man, Jr. Pac-Man, and Darius.
Hey, thanks for joining in. Firstly, it's the top games of the 80s, so even if something was made in 1979 it can still be a top game of the following decade. There were probably nearly 1500 different arcade game releases during the gen years of this decade and having a top 50 means games that you may like wouldnt be in that top 50. This countdown was taken from the most popular internet voted list of games and not my personal picks. Also, people from different countries will have different memories of what games were available to them. At the end of the day it's a bit of fun about a hobby that's amazing that achieved its goal of raising old arcade game awareness.
Asteroids was the first game I played as a kid, I had to stand on my tippy toes to play it but I did It! Some of my favorites of all time are on this list but I would easily put Discs of Tron in my top 5 🤩 and from 1989 Tournament CyberBall 2072 in my top 10! (Robot Football and the ball was a Bomb!) 😎
Great video! Not played many of these games but the Super Mario game (no 7) may be the 1st game I ever played so that’d probably be too for me! Paperboy also looked like a lot of fun 😂
There were two different cabinet versions of the original Street Fighter. NOT SFII. You had the basic with the 6-button layout. Then there was the Deluxe cabinet. This particular cabinet had two big rubberized pressurized sensitive buttons. The harder you pounded the buttons the harder your kicks and punches would be..
Don't think I ever played the one with sensitive buttons. It was not a game I was really any good at in the arcade as all the big lads would only ever play winner stays on and I never won lol
Dude! What about Mr. Do! and it's rare and final sequel, Do! Run Run? They were BOTH fun games and I STILL play them in MAME. Give them a go, you'll see.
Have definitely heard of Do! RunRun, though may not have automatically associated it with Mr Do. (Which is a classic and great game). Hmm, switches on arcade box to double check I have this!!! Thanks for the recommendation.
I always liked Moon Patrol - it gets very challenging the further you go along the alphabetical zones of the planet surface. Used to play this ROM on the Atari 400 - now there was a CLASSIC bit of hardware, Mr Swobbly!
I have played all these games at the arcade, except for Super Mario Bros, Pac-Man should have been number 1 as it has sold the most cabinets worldwide. I'm guessing this was a personal favorites list? Some of my favorites not on the list: Karate Champ, Marble Madness, Jungle Hunt, Kangaroo, Commando, Rush N Attack, Up N Down, Time Pilot 2084, Choplifter, Flicky, Pooyan, Golden Axe, Ikari Warriors, Mappy, Mat Mania, Mr. Do's Castle, Narc, Qix, Rolling Thunder, Snow Bros, Side Pocket, Space Harrier, WWF Superstars, and Yie Ar Kung Fu.
Not a personal list at all as would have been vastly different but including a few of the games you mentioned. It was a list that thousands have voted for, so impartial, allowing me to be negative on games I really didn't like. There is another video on games that were not on the top list to cater for popular games that have a few of the games you said. Pooyan was a fave of mine when I first played it in a cocktail table format in a pub with my parents. Think my mum enjoyed it more than any other arcade game.
@@SwobblyDoesStuff Thank you for your insight. I hope I didn't come off as hating your video, I gave it a like as I have played 49 of those games in the arcade using quarters back in the day and loved every one of them. Only played Super Mario Bros. on the NES, and love that too.
That's the beauty of our own thoughts and feelings towards the older games and the best reason I didn't choose the order of the list. Some of the games I love would be hated by others etc. Don't think the driving games were my fave type when I was younger, apart from supercars on the Amiga lol, but now I love them more than anything. It's healthy to disagree and thank you for contributing to the comments.
there was one game that was missed & it was called RUSSIN' ATTACK ALSO Mortal Kombat. I've played most of those games, however can't view Pole Postion by todays standards like NEED FOR SPEED, also HANG-ON was missed also Golden Axe,but a great list
Not sure if I could have included every game in the top 50 when it was a top 50 voted on by thousands across the internet. Also think Mortal Combat was a few years later. The 80s was a massive year for arcade games with thousands of games released. There are more games in another 80s video and a 90s video too 😁
Mortal Kombat launched in 1992. The game you’re speaking of is Rush’n Attack (Green Beret). It had a spiritual sequel called Missing In Action in 1989.
Had to rewind on Galaxian: 1979 release in a 1980s list 😂 I'm a bit young to remember most if these from the time (,born 82), but have since played a good number of them. Ghosts & Goblins is probably my favourite. Star Wars is spectacular on original hardware, though.
Star warm in the big sit down cabinet is a dream to play especially if they had the volume turned up. An amazing experience and one I enjoyed immensely.
Got a feeling some of these games were featured in the extras video but golden axe was a fave of mine, more on the mega drive and altered beast I played to death in the Amiga computer. Loved that game.
Yes, defender. Not generic list, but one that was voted for by thousands of people over the years. If it was my personal list I couldn't be objective and the list would be about 15 long max and also extremely boring to watch, plus I wouldn't have discovered some pretty cool games that I'd never played before.
@@SwobblyDoesStuff Nintendo's character Kirby was named after John Kirby, Nintendo's lawyer in the lawsuit against Universal Studios. When Kirby's Adventure was released, John Kirby was blessed with the very first copy to come off the assembly line.
I really do like double dragon but only really discovered it in later years. Golden axe was a firm fave on the sega consoles. Both still great games today.
@@SwobblyDoesStuff Double Dragon was the first arcade machine I ever put 10p in. The whole thing blew me away, the sound effects, the music, and when the big dude bust through that brick wall it became the 10 year old version of me's life mission to kick his a$$
Amazing when a certain game sound or music brings back a memory. Mine was with defender when wowawowa sound comes in when you hit the start button. Gotta love old school games.
Howdy ya'll Wow dude just wow... you set a new record for requested commercials " 42 " requested RU-vid commercials in a 28:26 long video, Thankfully RU-vid would never play all the requested commercials you wanted.. Great Arcade games, played alot of these Arcade games as they debuted, and still playing them now that I've purchased my most favorite ones.. Stay safe, Stay Calm and game on my Friends, Peace
Requested commercials? I've not set anything as don't even get the option for it. Is YT having a weird moment? Thanks for watching though, as you can tell, I'm a retro fan and gaming fan all in one. Look out for my next video later today, similar to this one but for the 90s
Have to disagree with the choices of Shin-obi, Contra & After Burner as there is no way that these two beat out Congo, Sinistar & Jungle King/Jungle Hunt!!!!
This wasn't my list but one voted on by thousands of people on the internet. If I only put the top games i liked it would be a totally different list and I wouldnt have had any games to main about lol
Odd to have a top 50 list where you hate a number of your own entries. And the first street fighter was absolutely terrible with unresponsive controls.
Not my list. Otherwise it would have been mostly games people didn't like, never heard of and games specific to the UK. That's why it's a list from the internet that was voted on by thousands of others. No point having something I can't moan about!! I really didn't like the street fighter series at all. It was fun as a short play game, but I preferred Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct and Soul Blade in the arcade.
Great list, i have all of these. Why do you keep going on about some of these games being dated or crap? Its obvious that some of these are dated, hard or crap but pepole play them for the nostalgic appeal regardless of the issues - thats the point. i follow alot of arcade channels but this in part is negative BS. Shame as i wanted to subscribe and support this channel (THANKS Button) as i do with the others....
As that's my opinion. Some games love through time, IE, Double Dragon, times less classic, but Kung Fu Master feels very dated. I dont make content to purely please everyone who watches it, that would be impossible. I include what I think and how I feel. Some of these games were part of my life in the 80s and used to spend hours upon hours playing them. Replaying them gives a different emotional response from back then. Another great example is Pole Position. Absolutely loved the game as a teen, now? I think it was a pretty lame game. Just my opinion.
Galaga and Galaxian.... Pac and Ms Pac... A time when they would actually improve the sequel over the original. C'MON GUYS !! Dragons Lair and Tron do not even deserve a place on a top 50. Every one of those machines should be disassembled and recycle the parts. They were designed to suck quarters out of the pockets of DUMBEST kids out there. Tempest was a lot of fun ....IF.... the arcade could keep up with the maintenance requirements of that beast. The spinning controller would wear and get very dirty in almost no time.
Subs are auto generated by RU-vid and if i remember rightly, the title, publisher and year is mentioned on each title, so should show up on the subs too.
As with the description of the video and quite a few comments, this was a top 50 list voted on by many thousands of people on the internet across the world. This is my personal take on that list. Why would I like every game?
Totally get where you're coming from, but in a similar fashion, did you ever hear a radio presenter doing their own top 50 songs on the radio instead of what other people had paid for/downloaded lol. My top 50 would have been vastly different and probably only a top 20 at most.
Pretty sure that was just a stylized K. Ever notice on some of their later games, the high score would be 573 or even 57300? It’s a Japanese number wordplay for Konami. ko (go) is for 5, na (nana) is 7, and Mi (the traditional version of _san_ ) is 3. This was also used for their phone numbers.
They are an internet top 50 voted on by many thousands of people. I may do my top 50 games ever at one point, but that would cover the 70s, 80, 90s, 00s 10s and 20s
@@SwobblyDoesStuff WWF Superstars was 1989, Wrestlefest was 1991, Mat Mania was 1986--it was a really good-looking unlicensed game with Hulk Hogan, King Kong Bundy, Ricky Steamboat...worth checking out!
Yes, Nintendo held the publishing rights for many years but after a legal battle it reverted back to Alexey Pajitniv in 1996 who then created the Tetris Company.
Who on earth compiled this list ? I know things are subjective but disagree with many, and a few glaring omissions also. No GORF? Sinistar? R-Type? Nemesis? Salamander? Rally X? Super hang on? Commando? Ikari warriors? QIX? and worst of all, no Gunsmoke !!! Again all subjective, i would have had several quite a bit higher, but decent list and good to reminisce
Agree with you on many of those games. I didn't want to pick my own top games as that would be wildly different from anyone's as I'm just weird lol, but was a Ranked list with many thousands of voters on. Fairly official and not some made up rubbish by IGN or the fake game brigade. R-Type and Gorf were deffo faves of mine.
