No Synyster Gates, Vito Bratta, Guthrie Govan, Paul Gilbert, Steve Howe, Andy Latimer, Martin Barre and many others. Glad to see Alex Lifeson there though.
No matter what your opinion is, No More Tears is one of the most iconic, dramatic and most recognizable solos ever. To not be included in this list tells me this is less of a "best ever" list and more you were just thumbing through your tape collection and got inspired.
Great list! But maybe it's also fun to make a list where a guitar player can only appear once. EvH was four times in the list. I'm a big fan of Eddie, but if you only allow one, you get more diversity
I was happy with all the EVH included, but this guy is right. Eruption is not a solo. And his Slash choices were straight up retarded. You can't put NR ahead of SCOM and no Sliver? Dude needs to lay off the molly.
Somebody is on drugs here. How in the hell is November Rain even on this list, much less 15 spots ahead of Sweet Child??? Then, you don't have the solo at the end of Paradise City, which is Slash's best solo ever! And just to add insult to injury, you don't include the solo in Sliver. Lay off the drugs, pal.
