@@tenclubcards and I am in agreement with you but honestly I do believe I've seen the nine fives from bgs go for a bit more than that. But I can always be mistaken.

It costs $15 to grade.

From what I've gathered over the years is when a pmg is missing a serial number it came from an uncut sheet of pmgs from fleer. When fleer went bankrupt a lot of uncut sheets of cards went up for auction. In some of the goldin monthly auctions you can still find these uncut sheets of pmgs that do not have serial numbers. Therefore the ones that are serial numbered are pack pulled. Excuse me if I am wrong and if anyone can correct me but that's what I was told from a sports card dealer that had connections at Fleer back in the day. As far as the altered question, the majority of pmgs are in a psa5 - psa7. They have always had surface and edge issues. People try to alter them but most of the time grading companies can catch that. Hope this helps out Tyler!
