What about Kinnock's gaffe in 1992 of punching the air in Sheffield when he assumed he would win. Brown was a thoroughly nasty man. His grimace which was meant to be a smile in 2010 was also a gaffe.

Tony Blair told Prescott to "CONNECT" with the voters. He did exactly as he was told. And apparently the Labour votes increased by a third so he must have HIT the right chord.
