I bought them maybe a month ago and I absolutely love them. The negative points are real, but in my eyes they’re just tiny flaws compare to the awesome sound quality, connectivity and battery life.
What's the point of just saying good things about them? I don't know about you, but I want to know why I SHOULDN'T buy these. All-positive reviews are completely useless.
One last thing. When you are watching videos while using the elite 65t sound and video sync up properly. This is a problem with other wireless ear buds.
This has not been a problem for me with my original IconX set connecting to Samsung Note 4 and Huawei P20Pro phones. RU-vid, Plex, Amazon video, even the default media players - video and audio are always in sync.
Jabra No worries. Any rough idea when a new product may be announced? 100% committed to purchasing a set, but refuse to buy anything in 2018 with micro USB. It's actually pretty frustrating..
Jabra has always been the leader in sound, distance, UI quality. But I completely agree with this review in one sense. I’m NOT a fan off streaming music, drains my bat to fast and I had to carry around a power bank. So all this product needs is internal storage to become the leader in Truly wireless earbuds. I’ve tried all and all have disappointed in some way. I wear a Fitbit Ionic and I’m very active, so I don’t need any fitness censors in my ears. Just a pair off earbuds that can compete with my Sony Walkman NWZ-W273S. I literally listen to music ALL day (8hour day) and only charge about every 3rd day +. There’s no bt con. and has a single wire connecting them. With my exercise (10K a day walking and high intensity workout at night) I miss alot off calls because you don’t hear the phone ring and the ionic’s timer is on. Just feel the vibrate and can’t stop just to check!! So please Jabra make these earbuds that can compete with mine? Thanks.
I have the 65t and the iconX 2018 I prefer the 65t because of the comfort, battery life my only concern is a slight crackling noise that's intermittent but the 65t beats the iconX any day, and the Jaybird Runs are not even in the same class as the 65t, great review, great points
This guy keeps his hands in the "im gonna pluck you" position more often then any other position. Its weird to see like that strange hand thing that leonardo di caprio does in "whats eating gilbert grape"
Let me start by saying...I like you. I just got the Jabra 65t. I am a runner and I lost one of my NUHEARA IQUBUDS. I replaced them with the Jabra. I hate that "magnetic" case stuff, so the Jabra wins on that count. The JABRA has a HEARTHROUGH feature that is awesome. And I was having issues opening the case, then I found out all you do is "squeeze the sides" to open. I saw that you got 500k views, so I acknowledge that you are a master at "click bait" but you are way off on this review....BUT you can get this amazing JABRA Elite 65T for $50.00 + on ebay and its a steal at that price. LOVE charles
Watch it with my jabra elite active 65t and man the sync is crazy good, i love this earbuds check all the boxes except usb c ! Really comfortable and sound is great ! Recommend this jabra product everytime anytime over any other earbuds!
@@ranjanreddy6816 i recommend this earbuds 100% all the time! Down side The battery does not hold the charge the same but that’s allright because i’m a heavy user.
I use Jabra Elite Active 65t. I've tried EVERY true wireless earbud. NOTHING beats them, not even other Jabras. I'm a plumber. Sports Enthusiast and Outdoorsman, so when I put ear buds to a test, they get TESTED, lol. Money wasnt an issue, so when I say I bought, I ordered, I tried EVERY earbud available, I DID. JABRA ELITE ACTIVE 65t is the ONLY one to buy. Cost $189
I’ve used these everyday for 3+ years, and also they do have a earwax guard it’s just deeper inside! Mine are just having problems now that’s why I onow
Great job on the review! I didn't like the title, it's a bit misleading and with a review this good just put down the real reason for the review. Keep up the good work and lose the click-bait titles. Looking forward to seeing more of your reviews!
Thank you Jimmy! The provoking titles help me stick out of the crowd of other tech reviewers who have 100k+ subs who have to say good things b/c they're mostly sponsored videos. However, I'll try my best to push videos out without these kinds of titles, but if I do, hopefully you'll like them as well! Thanks again!!
wrong. they have a button that turns on a microphone and plays the ambient noises through the speaker. THEY DONT HAVE NOISE CANELING. they are just really good as (passively) blocking sound.
They suck asss I ordered a pair along time ago and returned them... slot of issues with these earbuds don’t get me work they look great but they just don’t work well. Maybe I got a faulty ones who knows but I ain’t buying Jabra no more.
Ive seen at least 15 videos about Jabra 65t. This one i liked the most, its nice and light to watch. Few things i personally would like comments on: waterproof, comparison with elite active 65t thanks!
Mike Wat I don't own USB C, I have done my research on it and maybe you should too. Linus made a video of them unplugging and plugging usb c and micro usb, guess what micro won.
Just the colour and IP rating. Active 65t has matte finish so it looks more premium than original 65t IMO. It has also IP56 compared to original 65t's IP55. This difference in IP rating itself is not that significant for daily-use but I've heard that Active 65t has slightly better build quality (including better case) as well (hence this led to higher IP rating). Hope this helps.
Bruh my dad brought this jabra 65t and I owe him 300 dollars for that 😑😫😂 but tho I'm loving it already easy to connect with blue tooth, tho it hurt my ears but I can get use to it
Just a friendly follow up I got them today and they work really well. I went to the gym in them and I had zero problems keeping them in. The feature that lets the sound in as you listen works really well. Not sure how long term is. But I’d highly recommend them.
I bought the elite active 65t, they sound amazing but there is a big problem, there is a hissing noise in the left earbud and for some reason the left earbud sounds louder than the ear bud,,, does some one else have this issue?
I bought jabra elite 75t active yesterday and I hear the hissing noise when I start the music. To make it clear when I make the volume all the way down it still continues. Nevertheless I pause the music and make the volume all the way up and this hissing noise increases especially in the left earbud. I don't know what to do to be honest because I searched a lot before buying these earbuds and I'm seriously disappointed! What did you did with yours?
There was a ton of lag for me for the first 5 minutes and then it went completely away for some reason. I honestly don't know what was wrong, now they're perfect.
😋Summary & Timestamps are below for you 😀 This is meant to be a BALANCED review to give you the best of both sides of the argument to help you decide whether its a right fit for you or not, most people only watch the first part and start hating on it - I'd suggest you watch BOTH parts before doing that 😃 Also reviewed the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless Earbuds here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TrdseH7KTI8.html Why these are GREAT: 1. Super Comfortable & Secure - 3:21 2. Simultaneous BT Pairing - 4:27 3. Battery Life - 4:45 4. Ambient Sound - 5:29
You seem to have a great personality for this kind of videos. Like the self-deprecating humor. A few notes. Please make sure your contents reflects the title. Please, no click baits. Also, if you are are reviewing products in a list format, please say the numbers in the videos (that’s just me. I love lists).
Good balanced review. Just the title is misleading. There are more reasons to buy than not to. The Jabra Elite are great. Look good, sound very good, are light and fit perfectly.
Wow Mike! Fabulous review of the Jabra elite 65t. I am going to wait and purchase the Jabra elite ACTIVE 65t. The active will be sweat proof and much better for lots of activity by the user. The Active will be released soon but no real release date quite yet. When they do become available, I will wait to see your review of them. Keep up your great reviews. I am a fan of yours for sure. Thanks again Mike.
Hi Mike, I just found out the Jabra Elite ACTIVE will be released on Amazon this coming Friday, May 25th. Amazon is take pre-sale orders now if you care to get on the waiting list.
Using ambient sound feature as a hearing aid. My hearing is decent. I don’t need a hearing aid. But there are times when a hearing improvement would be nice. Sometimes I ask people to repeat themselves. Or at the poker table, if I could hear people talking quietly. And we baby boomers are losing our hearing. I understand that the Bragi Dash, and the Jabra Elite, can be used to pick up the actual sound in the room, instead of for music. Can they be used as a hearing aid?
Yes, i personally use the active version, but the hearthrough function will turn on when you play a music or video and turn off when you stop. Which is quite a problem
Idk what planet you're from that you feel that the Elite 65t doesn't sit a top the TWE totem pole but I guess everyone has different criteria for what makes for a good set of TWE. I feel like they are so good that they are the one and only mobile accessory that persuaded me to venture outside of my Samsung bubble. Note 9, Galaxy watch & my Elite 65t's & I'm good to go
I have the active version and 1. Box does not open easily which means so far it has not flipped open with my earbuds falling out all over the place. Unless you have Parkinson's, just ain't happening. Yes, magnetic would have been nicer but it's nit-picking. 2. Keep you ears clean , problem solved 3. As much as I like USB-C, why does ever reviewer cringe when they are micro-usb? Is there anybody on this planet who does NOT have a micro-usb cable??? Everything else about these earbuds is pure dope. And I have had tons of earbuds from ticpods free to b&o E8 to Sennheiser momentum truly wireless. P.S. Good job for first review buddy!
Usually when i watch reviews they are informative but pretty boring.. But your's buddy, i laughed all the time. 😁 The best 👌 plus i love that you honestly talk about all the negative aspect, appreciate that 😊
awesome review, yeah I've had these for about a week and love them. you brought up some good points for improvements. I wrap a rubber band around the case when it's in my bag. keep up the good work, rock on dude!✌️😎✌️
@@michellele7050 still great, only thing, I would suggest, is check to see if they are securely seated in your ear every so often, especially if you are running or jumping and stuff. Sometimes they start to work their way out of your ear after a while. But I guess that's true with most buds.
I’m watching this video while using the Jabra 75T elite. Just picked them up today for 129.99. So for I’m pretty happy with them. The ANC is lacking a little bit but I didn’t buy them for that feature alone.
I only have the jabra elite t5t (and AirPods) ... but I may have defective set - the equalizer makes no difference in sound at all to me. Is this supposed to make subtle or obvious differences? (2) although there is negligible latency, if any at all, there are frequent one-second skips in sound when playing RU-vid AND holding 2 simultaneous connections. I.e., these skips do not happen when only one device is connected. Is this normal ? Finally, last complaint, the pass thru ambient noise function produces static hiss which is very loud imo. Comments ?
Other reasons not to go for these. There is a common issue where people will experience crackling out of one of the ear buds. Another issue is that the left earbud will not function randomly when paired . I returned these already for a new pair about 6 months ago and i find that the same problems still occur after a few months of use. I Will probably return these again for another product as the exact same issues seem to be happening. The QA on this product seems to be pretty terrible which is a shame because they are/were perfect for the Gym There are posts online where people ended up taking the case apart as the metal contacts get loose and need to be soldered back on but obviously that will void the warranty.
This review is extremely flawed. The case it extremely hard to open on its own. So you don’t have to worry about the earbuds falling out. The app has EQ presets so I don’t know why he had that problem. Every call I’ve ever made has been crystal clear from both parties. The sound quality is excellent with good bass and nice highs and mids. Only thing I don’t like is how loud they can’t get. But you can easily fix that problem by boosting your song volume on iTunes. All in all I love these earbuds and was triggered by this shitty review.
Impressive review Mike...well scripted and edited..and yes I love the jabra elite 65t...and agree on the flaws...look forward to more content from you...🤘
After watching hours of earbud reviews, this was the first one that was actually entertaining. Thank you for breaking up the monotony that is my shopping. I especially like that you are honest about flat equalizer use. I don't know who bothers to customize it for each video or song.
Deceiving clickbait title or not lol jk (kinda) this is a great review. As an aspiring videographer, I mainly admire your cinematic videography and, editing skills. It brings the quality of your content to another level. I was a professional chef up until 12/16/14 when I was paralyzed in a car accident. Then my passion for photo/videography started taking over haha. I've been working in FCP for a few years now and so far I'm 100% self taught. I really need to find someone like yourself that I can shadow or help out so that I could grow as a filmmaker. I'm based in LA/OC, California bro. Are you by chance based in SoCal? Regardless man keep up the great work! You definetly have a talent and it clearly shines. 💯👊🏼 Greg
Hey Greg! Thank you so much, that means a lot to me. I'm self taught too, I just watch vlogs & replicate the effects and put them in my review videos. I'm in Vancouver BC Canada, but let me know if you have any questions, I'd love to help out!
Like the way you review, can agree to your points but like you said, if we can bypass that without much issues then the product is worth it. Loving mine right
Having used them I agree with the overall high quality of headphones....but no type c charging kills my desire to own them. It’s hard to find a good pair of wireless headphones for android
I use them with Spotify, the EQ settings on the Jaba app and the EQ settings on Spotify make them sound really good. Solid, bassy sound with no connection dropout even here in the wilds of Wales!👍 they also work well on my Fiio x1 and Astell and Kern MP3 players. I have just purchased the 75T to see if it’s even better!?
Hello! the Elite Sport 2.0 are water-resistant to IP67 rating (vs IP55 for 65t) so they’ll handle tons of sweat with no problem and they can even take a dip in 1m of water up to 30 minutes. But they're more bulky as well. The Jabra 65t ACTIVE will be replacing the sport 2.0
hello thanks alot for answering, only the water resistant thing? how bout sound quality between of those , is there any other different ? i just bought 65t , so elite sport 2.0 is the newer version than 65t ? thanks in advance
Nice review. However, someone needs to point out the insane degradation of battery after a couple of years of use of these things. I don't know about you, but when I pay more than 100 € for a pair of earphones, I kind of have the expectation to be able to use them for more than 2-3 years. And these ones? I simply can't. The battery life right now is around 50 minutes to an hour. It barely gets me through my workout. And sure, the case can charge them, but that means I need to stop listening to my music for maybe 20-30 minutes, to get a fresh charge. That sucks! We all know that battery life isn't going to be the same after a few years, but 75-80% decrease is more than I am willing to accept. Sorry Jabra.
Hey this was very well done, as i was totally looking into buying the Jabras...i liked your break down and you did it in a quick way too! I think you're gonna be a super successful youtube tech reviewer man!
Yeah for first reason I'm with u. Why can't they do like airpod? One time one of the earbud didn't charge and I cant listen to music LOL And I would like to see the charging case not to be plastic LOL
Hey Man..., Have you heard of Oppo ENCO W51 Earbuds?.... If yes then please tell me which one to buy in between Enco W51 and Jabra Ellite 65t .... Because there is appx. 75% off on Jabra Elite 65t and selling at same price
One more good thing, this is the only earbuds I tried that do not have a sync issue when watching films. I would though very mutch have maybe one or two mm extra into my ears så they stay on really well. I actualle managed to drop them three times during my first month. But I DO LOVE them. Oh, yes, if something should be altered, it would be to have a a listning mode where it increase the voices round you if it's a noicy area or if people are far away and then as you said, upgrade so not all sounds round you get to the one you talking to, like the weels on the trolley in the store, drives my wife crazy.
