Bruh, what about Hagrid’s, it’s more tame but with the unexpected drop it makes it even scarier and with how often it breaks down and you get stuck on the ride, I’ve only been on the ride twice and both times I got stuck on the elevator drop and you 1, don’t know when your gonna drop and 2, after you drop and you hear a bunch of coasters still being moved and all you can see is the broken track above you. I know how break runs work but that scared even me
As a 12 year old who is somewhat scared of rollercoasters, here is review of them: ( least scary to most scary) 6: doctor doom- looks intimidating, but the drop is slow, didn’t even have drop feeling. Only scary if you’re afraid of heights. 5: Harry Potter forbidden journey- (also at hollywood universal) this is one of the coolest rides. Not intense scary, but just thrill scary. The dementors actually made me scream, as did the spiders. Super fun but not specifically intense. 4: revenge of the mummy - the roller coaster part was pretty tame, just a bit more intense because it’s in the dark. There was fire and pretty scary mummies, but my 8 year old sister could handle it, so it’s not terrible. 3: rip ride Rock it- looks intimidating because if the 90 degree up part, but it’s not too noticeable at all. The actual drop was about the same as disneylands incredicoaster. I chose “I will survive” for my music and I also did it at night which made it 10x better. 2: hulk coaster- very very scary shooting up the tube onto the upsidedown for the first time. I did it again, and I realized it wasn’t that bad. The ride didn’t really have the hulk theme, it was just green. Although the line was very cool, A ton of upsidedown, maybe like 7 times. I liked it a lot though, and went on 3 times. 1: velocicoaster- very nicely presented, and not very bumpy. It goes really fast, and it speeds up again about halfway through. The drop gave me the stomach feeling for sure, and I was in front row, which made it even more scary. This was the most fun and most scary ride in my opinion. If you have express pass, it can be used on all other rides except this and hagrids motorbike. I went really early, and the line only took 20 minutes. I went again right after and it took about an hour. Go early or go on a weekday or else you’ll be standing in line fr a very long time. Honorable mention: Hagrids motorbike- I would put this at number 2 for most scary and a tie for fun with velocicoaster. The line took about an hour and a half, but was really cool. The ride was pretty long, and very very fast. The backwards scared me so bad, and I wasn’t expecting the drop. No upsidedown and only one somewhat large drop. *The only remotely scary screen ride was the escape from gringots becuase it had a drop. All other screen rides were either lame or moderately interesting.
Velocicoaster and Hagrid's are two of the most enjoyable coasters we've been on and neither one has shoulder pads to bounce your head off of. I really hope Universal and other parks find a way to retrofit existing coasters with the lap bar system, I think the rides would be 100% more enjoyable! Fun list Vincent.
My teenage son BEGGED me to go on Rip Ride Rokket with him ( after finally finding motion sickness meds that worked for me ) so like a fool I rode it with him , side note I don’t like coasters 😂 , I was TERRIFIED and cursed like a sailor all the way around 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Both hulk and rip-ride don’t scare me at all I love them both! What I do hate though is how ruff of a ride they give you. But when I get off of them and have a headache. I wish universal would really find a way to smooth them out. I really would like to go on them a lot more. I tend to go on them at the of the day so as it doesn’t ruin my day
Hi Vincent. I met you yesterday as you were filming this, you were headed to UO side. Wish we got a picture, so cool meeting you!! Anyway, i could ride Hulk all day everyday but Dr Dooms Fear fall was a one and done for me. I don't like that ride. Pass it and say nope every single time!!
My husband and I booked a Disney vacation to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. Then COVID hit, the parks closed, and we had to claim our trip on insurance. Now that Disney Corp has reopened the parks rescheduling the trip is possible.... but with the politics and prices I am not sure there is enough pixie dust still in the parks to make it something I want to do! Thank you for all of these Universal videos. You are convincing me that I can book a trip and have a great experience at Orlando Universal. Might be some Minion dust in my future!
Maybe because I grew up near Cedar Point(visiting universal for first time this summer) in SUPER excited to try all of the scary coasters. Dr Doom doesn't seem scary to me but I've done the up(shoots up fast, slower down) and down(slow up, quickly down)towers for power tower at cedar point(it goes 240 feet in the air). I actually prefer the up tower.
I wish HRRR was smoother, just don’t wanna deal with the headache afterwards. You know what Universal Hollywood needs is a monster coaster. One that starts on the upper lot and drops to the lower lot would be so cool. I heard some rumors of a F&F Drift Coaster being thrown around there.
Did the hulk and the jurrasic park is number 1. U fortgot say the pwrt that ehen u showed as they do in the place 360° by themself the scary thing in the ride is that u feel fr it cuz the seatbelt only on the hip
