Started with kb swings a week ago with the goal to hit 100 per day. Been out of shape and very obese for the better part of my life. Finally got off my ass and started doing something. Standing today on 45 reps broken up in 3 sets. Will hit the 100 mark very soon and progress to bringing in more kb exercises in my routine. Thanks for your content! It really helped a lot so far.
Agree whole-heartedly with secret 6. I started lockdown working out in my driveway or in the garage when the weather was bad. Soon got fed up with the scenery, either brick walls or neighbours' houses. Now I spend an hour or two down at the beach every day it is not raining constantly. Hard to beat the view of mountains and islands (Firth of Clyde, west coast of Scotland).
The back pain thing is so true. I have had truly terrible back pain for a while(Im 20 with back pain... go figure) and it was relieved due to kettlebell training.
i’m new to kettlebell training and have decided to follow your techniques , because you explain the exercises simply , also you use a old Soviet style of training , I think that’s awesome , even though i don’t know anything about Soviet kettlebell training it sounds powerful
Not an LS client, and can vouch for everything Gregory is saying! a couple of months Kettlebell training and I'm already feeling fitter and stronger than ever, and even sleeping better (been a cycling aficionado for 8 years, lifting in the gym for 4). Better posture, and better endurance.
Getting rid of back pain is one of the main reasons i incorporated kettlebells into my routines. Back pain was because of muscular imbalance and after a month or so it was gone. Even waking up in the morning its like my back is 16 years old again
I love the simplicity/utilitarian nature of kettlebell. It can work EVERYTHING. It helped me with back pain. Working with kbs helped my everyday movement. More flexible. Stronger. Less pain. Please consider if you are unsure.
Started with 50lb???? How has that been working for you? lol unless you were a body builder or something prior to starting kettlebells 50lbs will get you hurt
I live in an RV. Literally the only open space I have is 3' x 10' and the kettlebell has been a life saver! They are small, easy to store, easy to use. I've had back pain for almost 20 years, and kettlebells + carnivore OMAD (one meal a day) have cured me.
Competition bells, especially the 16kg look like mini fire hydrants with handles, which make them look like instruments of serious strength. Idk, that's probably weird. Hahaha.
I have done strength training for 6 months for a body recomp using cardio and machines.. the gym is always packed and I had to wait to use the machines .. So I started training with kettlebells and fell in love with it.. Now my training is 80% kettlebell exercises and 20% machines.. My heartbeat rate goes higher than running when I do kettlebell swings..
These were incredible secrets to become aware of in terms of building stamina, balance, cardio, muscle and weight loss. Curious to ask about about many of the movements. I have several problems with my knees... squats are very difficult... any advice or things to be aware of with poor knees?
Squats can be complex when doing them with kettlebells. Check this out; it may help you: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fnuHKfySEsU.html - Gregory

Valery Fedorenko lifted a 350lb barbell with one hand. He had no formal training. Kettlebells won't make you a Schwarzenegger, they'll make you into something pretty close to Superman though.
I'm still kind of a beginner, but I'm really starting to get into the kettlebell training. Though in France Kettlebell are still very niche. How can I get a good formation on the matter ? I mean if I wanted to take matter into my own hands and become the coach i don't have here ^^
@@lebe-stark Yes sorry ^^ i'm looking for a good coach or a way to get good knowledge and practice to be able to coach myself. (I like the quote "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime." )
I have scoliosis and spondylothesis and resistance training has done miracles for me. Building muscle and being fit is the way. Start slow and build your way up.
@@lebe-stark ah okay cool. Vielicht hesch im Summer emol Luscht zum e Video zeme z mache? sowas wie "kettlebell guy tries calisthenics/ring training" oder sowas :)
I remember during my high school days I overheard my school dragon boaters telling their junior if kettlebell can't build real muscle is meant for girls
@@lebe-stark lol, so good!! Love it!! I didn’t realize you are in Switzerland (I saw you commented to another person). Your English and accent is perfect. How many languages do you speak? Love your videos!! I’m learning. And, your “little man” is precious ♥️ 🐶 what a cutie!
The true secret of the kettle bell is it's over hyped, over complicated, and over priced. The secret is the training modality generally used w/ the kettle bell. Do kettle bell style training w/ good 'ol iron hex dumbbells. Same results at a fraction of the cost. Not to mention Iron hex dumbbells give greater training options.
Not necessarily. I've done both. You can do it with regular dumbbells but you won't get the same benefit do to the pendulum like movement from kettlebells. Though on the other hand you can do movements similar to kettlebells and Indians clubs but you won't be the same benefit. Unfortunately I did get that Idea from the functional patterns guy.
@@oldnatty61 well depends on what you want the average trainee is going to vary from thing to thing. That's why they're gyms out there so you can try different pieces of equipment what works for that person and what doesn't work.
