I hit 999,999 once riding the ride and the ride stopped in the room with the long distance volcano. I think the volcano was like 50k points per shot up at the top (clear across the room not an easy shot) but we weren't moving and I was facing it so I just shot it over and over again. Made 999,999 in just a minute or two. Took a photo to show off to my friends who wouldn't believe me.

Former cast member here! I worked the buzz ride in Tomorrowland and there’s several of those hidden 100,000 targets all through the ride. It was basically part of training for us to max out the score 🤷🏻‍♀️

The Haunted Mansion chess pieces myth is true. You can find Pawns, a rook, a king, a queen, and a bishop in the building's architecture. The only one you cannot find is the knight and this is because it is night on the inside of the mansion! BOOOOOM

Very true and yet inside during the ride you pass a haunted knight So I guess it is true since there is a knight in there. :) We took the Keys to the Kingdom Tour last year on Oct 29th, Our guides name was Christopher. I was waiting for someone to ask if his last name was Robin. No one did though,

I believe sometimes the flag poles at the top of the building rotate down and parade lights rotate up for night parades, another reason not to use real flags.

a cool story about the wedding ring- the ring was originally just a land marker that people thought resembled a ring. the story of the ring grew in the disney community and imagineers took it and ran with it- adding in the actual ring!

At my Ecology class at University, we used to do things like that, only with trees. It was long ago and I can't remember how it was done exactly but it's not that easy, starting with that you need a certain number of mesurements,taken in a certain way (that it's not what they were doing) to get valid results. And then you have to apply the right formulas. I think you have calculate the moving avarage.... ( I can be completely wrong, it has been so many years,sorry). So, yes, it has its difficulties.

Find a map of Disney world, pin point every trash can, draw a circle of a radius corresponding to 30 steps around each of them and it would give you an estimate It wouldn't prove it is true (since some places could be around corners or blocked by fences you would have to walk around) but if any point of the map is not included In a circle, it would prove this theory wrong :)

The way to do it would be to measure the distance of each trash can to its nearest neighbor. If none of the distances are greater than 60 yards then you can prove the myth. This assumes that the trash cans are in all areas of the park which I think is a fairly safe assumption.

and then we have the issue of the time-frame ... it's easily possible that it was true at opening day, but then, as the park expanded, it became less and less true. So, is it a myth or a historic fact?

Damien DeVIL Yes, there is! You can actually google photos of it. :) Sometimes, they let families stay in it on occasion. It was originally going to be the place in which Walt would stay during his WDW visits, but after he passed, it was decided to be a suite used only in special circumstances.

@@CosplayCore When we took the Keys to the Kingdom tour last year on Oct 29th, Our guide said once the park closes you are a prisoner in that suite. They have a guard posted outside if you need anything. The guard will get someone to go and get it. Also the guide said he would not mind since he said he would be in the hot tub all night. Also you can not even see outside from that Suite,

Yea, I’ve used something like that to get perfect, but I can do it without as well. Sometimes when me and my dad play together we do so well we don’t even have to play the last room cause we both already have galactic hero. We just make funny poses for the camera

Roxanne fun fact believe it or not the ride doesn’t always just randomly stop because it’s broken. More then likely the stop is because a disabled passenger is getting on or off the ride. I’ve sat in that in the disabled seating in the past with a friend. If the stop last longer then 10 mins then it’s more then likely a down ride but on buzz if the stop is less then 5-10 minutes it’s just probably someone getting on the ride who needs it to be stopped to get on. Easy points = fun!

Let me give you some history about the ring in the Haunted Mansion queue! Originally, the ring wasn't placed there on purpose. It was actually a metal support pipe with a bit on the end that got cut and didn't end up getting covered in concrete. The cut bit looked like a stone. The Imagineers decided not to cover it up, since it seemed fitting. When they renovated the queue, they placed that one there when the old one got torn up in the renovation.

I’m sure you’ve already heard about the basketball court in the madderhorn in Disneyland but I recently did a Youth Education series in Disneyland where the cast members explained to us why. Apparently when Walt went to the city of Anaheim to get permission to put in a giant mountain, they declined it saying that only sports complexes could be that tall. So he built it anyway and put in a basketball court so it is technically a sports complex. You might know this already but I thought it was really interesting. Love your videos!

They go inside the Matterhorn in one of the documentaries on Disney+ (I can't remember which one). I think it's with the person who designed the ride. There is a backstage/breakroom & there's a basketball hoop (but not a full court). There's also a wall that has been signed by cast members over the years & the designer adds his name in the video.

There is actually another 100,000 point target in the second room! It is just before you leave the room. You have to wait for the jack-in-the-box to open and hit that target, which is tricky since there's an alien jumping out at you! I've gotten to 1,500,000 points before by riding alone and then using the right gun after maxing out the left!

Probably a new lens (or both). It looks different because they're using a shallower depth of field, which separates J better from the background and gives him more presence in the shot.

There's a book that all self-respecting Disneyphiles needs to read called "Behind the mouse ears".it's an exhaustive look behind the curtain of Disneyland. I don't remember if it's exclusively DLand or if it gets into WDW as well. I read it in high school (long long ago) so there might be an updated version. But you should definitely check it out.

Not exactly a myth, but if you go on your honeymoon, the hosts will direct you to phones where you can hear special messages. My wife and I got to experience that back in October. Thanks for really making me want to go back to Disney World!

I'm from New England and I'm only 12 however- I've been to Disney WORLD 7 times!! My favorite rides have to be 1. Peter Pan ride (the way the boats move is so cool!) 2. Buzz light year (I have so many competitive memories) 3. Living in/with the land (it's gorgeous) 4. Spaceship earth (so fun :D) 5. Star Wars ride (nuff said)

I've only been to Disneyland, but one day I got stuck on the Matterhorn inside of one of the dark tunnels. Eventually a disney worker came by to let us out of the Bobsled and we had to walk down some stairs off of the ride and there is a Basketball hoop underneath the mountain! I felt so cool seeing that when I was younger.

After buzz lighter space ranger spin stopped when my family was on it the score remained so my mom kept going and got the 999,999 score bit I only got 250,000 because I was really young

Super disappointed they don't do the certificates anymore. When I got my sticker, the nice lady at Star Command told me to go back to my hotel and ask for a pin like @@jordanbalke got to stick it on. If you explain what you need it for, they're super cool about it. I have my pin hanging up lol

These are all amazing! Also I didnt know that about Space Ranger Spin, but last time I went the ride stalled for about 5 mins in the second room and i was able to score 999,999

River of poop. If you look at the ground just outside Haunted Mansion, you will see what looks like a brown path set into the walkway and runs all the way to Frontier Land. It's actually supposed to be a poop river. Back in colonial times, there was no indoor plumbing so people would do their business in pots and throw it out out of the window. This would create rivers of poop running down the street. The disney version doesn't smell as bad and won't soil your shoes.

the one about the perfect score brought back memories abt when I rode(?) Space ranger spin. the memories are a little foggy but there's this one orange guy toward the beginning of the ride who gives you a big bonus for shooting him. the ride experienced frequent delays around that time, so I was able to rack up perfect scores like it was nothing. Still lowkey proud ❤

An employee who took out her bad day on me once at Confectionary definitely got reported when her manager found out I asked for a Jack Skellington candied apple in Summer and she had refused to make me one...

As I got older, I kinda thought that the Buzz Lightyear ride lasers were fake because how would you know which laser is yours especially when there is multiple people playing at once. I feel like it randomly chooses a winner & score per car

Buzz's Spin has always been my favourite ride! While my Dad has always been my galactic hero, it was so awesome when he got that score when I was a kid and had the tag presented to him by Buzz Lightyear himself (yes we have photos). About 10 years later, I managed to do the same and I consider it my greatest achievement XD Love your channel guys, thanks for making awesome vids!
