It actually makes sense to me: Usually bad acting and over-the-top fights. Of course, the crossovers lacked any of the charm that either had (although I personally don't like The Jetsons, The Flintstones, or Scooby-Doo. They had an element of nostalgic fun).

It was, in a way. Aaahhh, 1990 was a good year, I remember it well! I actually remember seeing Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue, when it first premiered. As, I was part of that whole generation who had to take D.A.R.E., listen to MacGruff the Crime Dog, & get hit over the head constantly with one anti drug PSA after another, lmao!
