I came here for a good back workout, and was thoroughly impressed by Alexander's tricks. He's an absolute beast with that yo-yo! Awesome work, Alexander, and thank you, John!!
Been binge watching Meadows training videos the past few weeks while getting ready for a prep and just got the news of his passing this morning. I didn’t know Jon, but he seemed like one of the good guys… RIP Jon
The biggest thing I’ve learned from watching your back videos is to let my elbows guide me it’s helped me feel the muscles in my back so much more in damn near every lift
I currently do four sets of barbell rows, three sets of pullups and finish with three sets of Meadow’s rows. I strech my lats in-between each set. Really good feeling in the lats! I do Romanian deadlifts on leg day.
RIP MY GUY BEEN WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS FOR A WHILE. IM SO GUTTED YOU WHERE TAKEN FROM US!! MAY GOD BLESS YOUR WIFE AND KIDS AND KEEP THEM SAFE 🙏 ❤ ✨ ♥ 💖 LONG LIVE THE KING 🤴
Mr. Meadows your kid is so talented that in a few years people will come to this channel to just see the kid and not you. Love the content as ususal. Meadows row is the king of rows and the activation it gives me everytime is amazing
As a person who used to yoyo a good bit and who enjoys them still your son's skill and rate of progression is insane. It's the equivalent of going from being Kai Greene before and after supplements lol. Always been impressive but just amazing now. I'm nobody but let him know he blew my mind and I'm proud of him and his dedication, it's rare that kids these days work that hard for things they want. You obviously are a great dad, I'm impressed by you in many ways John. Also amazing video in regards to the back training, it's been my weakest part and the one I want the most lol. I'll have lats like Dorian in no time now brother 👍🏻
@@mountaindog1 it shows, his rate of progression is amazing. I wish my gains from lifting came half as fast, I'd be Ronnie Coleman by next December lol.
It took me a couple of months to “find” my back when I first started lifting...learning to focus on the elbow was the game changer. Thanks for the video sir
Rip brother, Australian here and doing my sets tonight in honour of you, you have helped me even though you never knew me! My thoughts and love go to your family.
By struggling with forearm tendonitis, I find out that wide pull-ups and close chin-ups are the best way to avoid it. The closer pull-up puts more pressure in the brachioradialis muscle.
Thank you for everything!!! RIP. You always reminded me of those super jacked fit older dudes at the gym that have been working out for 30 years and still look better than everyone else.
John gives great advice. I've been using his exercises to build my own three day routines. Since I only do 3 days push legs pull, I need each day to be lengthy and very hard. I do one of John's full chest routines and love it. It's brutal, I'm sore for three days after.
I recently started following John Meadows, and I love the calmness of this gentleman. He is smart, and so informative. We lost a great man. RIP John, and thank you for giving us some gems in the fitness industry.
Just did the 1 arm Barbell row. My goodness the blood flow in my lats. I noticed foot position made a difference for me I'll have to try having feet closer together felt a lot of pressure on my hip
First vid I'm watching since he's gone. Not afraid to admit, tears came when I saw him at the start of the vid. Composed myself and gave it my all with these exercises. RIP MOUNTAINDOG☝😪
This man even after his death inspires me. Having such a humble and positive person in the fitness industry is rare and we will never see another man such as john meadows again. Rest in peace sir, I will always wish that I could’ve met you in person. Thank you
Thank you John! I just finished a back workout with your exercises included. I felt a difference between my normal back workout without those exercises.
The one arm barbell row is a new staple for me so much better than with a dumbbell, especially at home since I don't have tons of weight to play with. Can't wait to try the meadows row once I get an olympic bar again!
Hi John, Awesome video! So glad you made this video as I'm about to change my exercises for back and needed some ideas. Big thank you for making the video. Cheers, Billy
Arms can be too big... (overpowering the torso) Shoulders can be too big... (overpowering the chest) Traps can be too big... (overpowering the shoulders) Legs (especially the quads) can be too big... (making the torso/upperbody smaller) BUT THE BACK, REAR DELTS AND HAMSTRING CAN BE NEVER THICK, DENSED, HUGE AND BIG ENOUGH!
Love the stim-free pump formula! As an ectomorph who doesn't have a crazy appetite it takes me a LOT of effort to eat enough calories to bulk, whereas cutting is really easy for me (opposite problem of most people). And stimulants absolutely kill what appetite I do have. Been using the stim-free pump during my current bulk and it feels great to finally have a pump aid I can use that doesn't leave me dreading my after workout meal.
