One thing that always sticks out to me about Samson is the fact that the Philistines couldn't figure out the secret to his strength. This means to me that they obviously didn't see his muscles as a source of strength. So maybe Samson looked like a normal guy, and not like a body builder.

oh yes we need to have a good conscience with our faith or else we might end up losing our salvation if we are reckless. as Paul said that some rejected having good conscience that they suffered shipwreck in their faith. 1 Timothy 1:19 holding on to faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and so have suffered shipwreck with regard to the faith.

Facts. ..Joshua definitely underated in the context of cleaning out the land..was willing to take on everything even the commander of the army of the living God until he revealed himself only then submitted...that's the definition of fearless IMO..

An ox goad is a wooden tool, approximately eight feet long, fitted with an iron spike or point at one end, which was used to spur oxen as they pulled a plow or cart. It often had an iron scraper at the non-pointed end to clear clods of earth from the plowshare when it became weighed down. Your comments are raciest and false. God's spirit indwells in us all are we would not be alive. That means the good, bad, and otherwise. God is everything in us and we are nothing without our Lord. Even Jesue said, why do you call me good, no one is good but God. And went on to say that it is the spirit of our Father indwelt in Him that does the works and of Himself he can do nothing.

Can a woman be a warrior?. I had cancer and was not able to have children. Was 34 and thought I'll wait till I'm married. 10 yrs later got married (1st and only!!!). Women's groups with family dosen't fit with me... I'd prefer to be a protector and warrior for others now... 😊

Hi Daniel Thanks for bringing courageous men who were empowered by the holy spirit to bring men to focus on god Almighty Really these days most men are so focused on money puffing up and hiding from their responsibility make me wonder why god used them but I understand men then were forced on god This world and time have definitely changed love for god has really grown cold so I appreciate your focus on men because they needed someone to be courageous and to let them know where they are failing The love of god must be real even though they are males they need to be reminded who they truly represent in life in families as friends husband, uncle, brothers The fruit of the spirit is love. The characters mentioned as biblical warriors are not Christian… that should be a point of clarity. These men were Israelites, of whom later became known as Jews. The vast majority of Christian warriors(actual men at arms) were crusaders… of which few who were less than actual leaders were named, and many named leaders ordered the murder of Jew and Muslim alike. all the Christian warriors were men who fought wars against other Christians and Muslims and fought for generations subjugating or murdering those who refused to convert to Christianity, or their form of Christianity.
