Fun fact, if you point out Cheshire in the mirror to a cast member, they'll kinda brush you off and deny he's there. It sounds rude, but I see it as a nice little nod to the movie and how nobody but Alice really notices his presence.
you actually can control when the evil queen pops out. There is a brass apple on a book at the beginning of the snow white ride line. If you palm it with your hand you will hear the evil queens voice and she will open the curtain
I would eat there with my parents because I didn't understand that it was an animatronic. I always thought it was her and I would wave but she wouldn't wave back
Another non-Disney character appeared in a Disney ride. I swear I saw Universal's The Invisible Man at the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at the Hollywood park in Orlando.
The Leprechaun's house is by far the sweetest easter egg! I love it! How exotic for this little man to now live in a jungle where once stood an orange orchard! 👌✨🍀
The first time I went to Disneyland I saw that little house by the tree and assumed is was a fairy house from pixie hollow bc I had never seen that book
I actually know about the Sleeping Beauty walk-through. I have a two-disc special edition version of Sleeping Beauty, and in various Behind the Scenes footage in disc 2, Imagineers; including Tony Baxter talk about the Sleeping Beauty walk-through as well as some deleted content. From what I gathered, it was shut down and wasn't seen in over 30 years. Sometime later, my mom told that it had re-opened, and seems to have changed. At the same time, it feels similar to the footage that was shown on the DVD, and it looks like the shadow of Maleficent made a return. When she was first introduced, she really scared the kids as they would often stop there, so she was only there for like a month or two. As for the Corridor of Goons, there was a completely different feature. There were doors with peepholes, and guests were allowed to look through them, and when did they saw the goons staring at them. It did slow down traffic so they had to take it out, it was a cool feature though.
Hey if anyone wants to know more about that, there's this RU-vidr called yesterworld who makes a video about that topic. He makes videos like tpm, but I'm not saying don't watch tpm. I love tpm videos. You're great tpm vids!!!
I think some of my favorite easter eggs are the nods to older attractions in the park, some specifically at Disneyland. Some of the shops actually re-use some old ride vehicles and such as displays. To be specific, the shop over by Autotopia uses rockets from a previous attraction as shelves. As in the Tarzan Tree House there is a nod to the Swiss Family. A book and according to a site the phonograph quitely plays the "Swisskapolka". I mostly love the little small things about the history of the back hidden from plain site. Basically getting to see the old history of Disney in small places. Some are obvious like the track from People Mover which as remained since opening day or around that time while others a small such as where the unloading area for Skyway in Fantasy Land used to sit. These small things that show us the past of Disney are little wonders to be hold and go unmissed often.
A lot of people assume the track for the peoplemover is just decor to make the land more futuristic, but yes it originally had a purpose! The rockets in the shop by autotopia use the original sky rocket vehicles that were in Tommorrowland and ON TOP of the loading zone for the people mover. They actually had two queues to get into from the ground floor and one of them wrapped around and up farther to the rockets! Now that I remember that, from being there, I feel very old! XD
My favorite hidden character is the Hidden Evil Witch. Funnily, WDW used to have the evil queen peek out on the Snow White ride. They removed the evil queen from WDW ride as it scared the children! 🚝🎡🎢😎🥰 As others remarked, your videos are something I look forward to for my Disney Fix and are a sheer pleasure to watch! 🥰🎢🎡🍿🧁🚝🏰😎
When I went to the park recently, my boyfriend and I kept finding ourselves being amazed by how much detail is in the entire park, from the actual rides to the queues, everywhere you look there is something that perfectly matches the ride/land that you are in!
I did not know that Don Knotts was in Disney movies! Hes one of my favorite actors from 3 Threes Company and Andy Griffith. Really cool to see he has a little tribute in the Little Mermaid which is my favorite Princess! ❤
Ok, I'm sorry all fans of Disney but... I'm legit scared of all of these animatronics cuz the are just staring at you with sometimes lifeless eyes. And let's say you went on a ride and it was really dark and the one of those trees from 'Snow White's Scary adventures' just pops up out of nowhere. IF THIS OFFENDS YOU just tell me. I'll delete it.
Melon is a Lemon Haha so am I they r Kind of well creepy… I always think they May pop up on other rides 😂 I don’t see How someone could be offended by your Comment I mean it’s your opinion and ik I’m not every person in the world but I don’t Think it should offended people 🙃
man, when i was 4 i went to disneyland with my family and was in a stroller and saw the Evil Queen while were in line for the Snow White ride. I kept telling my parents and siblings that she was staring at us, but every time they looked she went back into the curtains. They still don't believe me to this day 😔😂
I definitely knew about some of these. I’ve spotted the Cheshire Cat in the mirror in The Mad Hatter shop in Fantasyland a couple of times. The Evil Queen in the window above the Snow White Ride is another one I knew about, but funnily enough, the first time I spotted her was actually accidental. I was in line for another ride at the time, and while looking at the Fantasyland scenery to pass the time, I spotted her without actually looking for her. Like you said, depending on where you’re standing, the window can reflect glare from the sun, making her hard to notice, but she’s a lot easy to spot at night. :) The last one I knew about was the walkthrough of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. I’ve known it was there for a long time, but only got to go through for the first time back in 2019. I wasn’t able to enjoy the scenes for long, though, because it was crowded, so I kept letting kids that were having trouble getting through the crowd go in front of me so they could see the scenes.
This is from a year ago, but my favorite one still is that mirror I really wanna go to Disneyland to see him just in the mirror (and of course to have fun)
I saw the evil queen at Disney land and I was so exited! It was at night, and it just was so amazing, but it was really hard to get a photo/video of it
That thing about the evil queen peeking out the window is something I kind of already knew. I first knew about it from the Disney Sing-Along video, "Disneyland Fun", when they sing "It's a Small World". During the line "and a world of fears" the camera cuts to a glimpse of the evil queen peeking out the window.
This video is so cool because I went to Disney land last week and I can’t believe I missed the queen looking at u in the window I love ur videos so much☺️
Great video! I’d like to add that in the Winnie The Pooh ride long before the attraction was created, it used to be Country Bear Jamboree. When they removed it for Winnie the Pooh, they kept 3 animals head trophies in the ride. They are hidden of course. You’ll have to look up as you’re passing the female elephant eating and smothered in sticky stringy honey. 😌
Fun story: Many years ago during the first time I went to Disney Land, I pulled the door in the corridor of goons, in the Sleeping Beauty Castle walkthrough, and the noises and door opening by itself FREAKED me out. Accidental discovery of mine that I really like being able to remember now.
I remember when me and my mom we’re on the small world and one of the dolls went out of control and it was just kicking it was kicking kicking kicking kicking and we didn’t know it was happening and a bunch other ones just started wacky
Gonna be honest; this is the first Disneyland secrets video I’ve watched in years where every secret was brand new to me! Great job TPM, keep it up! :D
i remember going to snow white’s scary adventure. i cried the whole time because i have a bad fear of rollercoasters (my parents forced me to go on it) lmao.
I love everything that TPM Vids is! One day there should be a DisneyVidCon or something of the sort! It’d include fans who’ve always wanted to meet the people behind these successful channels!
*i did know about the door in the sleeping beauty castle but it was closed the first time I went and the second time [I've been 12 times to California/Disneyland] it was open! but i was with family i asked but as a kid.. you don't exactly get to stay there and look for every secret so my dad said no I'll make sure to look out again*
The sleeping beauty walk through attraction was one of my favorites when I was a kid I remember my dad telling me to be quiet in the room where you see her sleeping because it would wake her up if you didn’t and I believed it🤣
Greetings and salutations from South Africa. Thank you for always showcasing the wonders of the Disney theme parks because I'll most probably not be able to go (for a long time anyway)
@@TPMvids Oof yeah also can I ask you to possibly to do some DisneySea videos? Because my family and I are going to Japan and we might go their it's okay if no, but it seems like a really intresting park Thanks for all your great videos!
The cozy cone motel also looks like a reference to the wig wam motel on Route 66. I stayed there last summer and was told by the owners that the iconic cars that sit out in the parking area in front of the wig wams were used as references for the cars in the cars movie. It’s a cool little fun fact we learned while driving a large majority of Route 66.
I was very surprised at all the Disney characters. I will look out for them. Have you mentioned in the past on peter pan ride. When you pass big Ben you will see a hidden Mickey.
Your hoing to disneyland.... Lol. Whatever gets you there faster... Lol Its pretty expensive.... 🤣😅 Or you could marry a man or find a friend that is in the free mason and get in for free. :))
I really wish I had the money to go to any Disney Park... thanks for making your videos! They have inspired me to make my own channel about this subject! Your videos make feel like I’m there!
Yo I just got this Notification! My grandpa works at disney world in Orlando. I can give yall a bunch of knowledge that he told me for a vid! Yall are the best!
