Great picks, especially like the hidden DB entrances, so simple yet so effective! Same goes for the hide quests one. Subscribed, looking forward to new finds!
Seeing the beautiful (but so easy unless you use some mods like requiem) skyrim and comparing it to the old daggerfall and morrowind makes me think of this : when will sony make an Everquest HD.. a remake with just the basic everquest pre kuniark at first with the exact1999 gameplay (including exp on death, corpses disappearing after 24h, no maps nor quest markers, no henchmen, keyword based quests etc), but with 2022 quality graphisms, some changes in the zones, less pathing issues (still enough distant aggro mechanismes to facilitate big choo choos though), new areas etc, to add some novelty, a decent UI of course... That would be so huge :).
Great video! I’ve noticed a mistake you’ve made in both of your videos though. You state there’s a billion mods for Skyrim - the number you are looking at is actually for the amount of Downloads of all the mods, not the amount of individual mods. Otherwise there would have had to have been millions of new mods added between your first and second videos! The actual number of mods available is the first number, which I’m looking at as I post this is 44,100 (44.1k). Indeed, Nexus themselves actually write at the top of the their home screen that they host a total of 346,894 files for 1,539 games. Just so you get your info right for the next video!
That was well done!! I will be adding all of these to my load order except for auto-move but I am glad to know about it. Liked, Subscribed, Bell all checked! 😎
great video, and amazing voiceover, i thought that this is a channel with thousands of subs while listening. u def gonna hit it big as long as u keep at it. u gained a new sub
While I love the idea of the Elizabeth's Shrine mod, now I wish it were applied to all applicable Daedric Shrines (minus ones that could clip or glitch if this were done to them).
The DB entrances mod seems nice. The really interesting one is the hidden quest mod. Currently using Timing is Everything and The Choice is Yours. I've long suspected that they cause underlying stability issues so I might just try this hidden quest mod instead. EDIT: Well so much for Hide Your Quests. Doesn't work with AV and the mod author has IRL issues to contend with. Useful, and thus good, video.
Who's gonna scour through pages and pages. My friend trusts me! When my friend introduces me to the Modding community, I can spend the whole day just looking or browsing for mods, downloading them, installing them all and ended just to uninstalling them again
Hey man.. Sorry to nitpick here but the amount of mods for Skyrim SE was at the time you took that screenshot 39.7k. There were 987.2M downloads at that time. Honestly got a giggle from me, because a mod count of 1.8 billion for Oldrim would be ridiculous xD
Ugh, I cannot stand it when modders try to be haha funny in their immersive mods. I'm very grateful for modders in general, I think this game itself owes a lot of credit to modders, but sometimes it's like just shut up, I didn't download this mod so you could put in an NPC that runs around naked at 3x the height of a regular NPC
1sr and 3rd Mod are pretty cool. Even tho to me the first one would be a good installation for a new Player, since I know where to find their places anyways xD
800 mods and your game is still playable?? I should pay to fly you here to help me. I've only got 300 mods and can't ever seem to get the load order right. Landscape tears, CTDs, buggy quests... 😫 That being said, I'll still try some of these awesome suggestions. Haha Thanks!
Well it took about 3 hours of testing my game in between installing every 10 mods or so to reach that point, plus removing a lot of mods and cutting out features that I really wanted, in exchange for game stability. It wasn't easy but I'd still prefer a stable game over having ten billion huge overhaul mods that create game problems, ya know?
Hey, man! Great job on all of the videos so far, you're going places. I've made some additions to my load order thanks to you, so I'm very grateful. I wanted to ask, what's the sheathing mod you use to move the quiver? Hope you don't mind sharing. Congrats again, keep doing a good job!
Truly wasn't aware of almost all of these! Dope video. Could I ask which landscape textures you tend to use, specifically what's providing the road/pathway/dirt textures?
Thanks! I use Septentrional Landscapes SE with Blended Roads (so that the former mod's textures are used on roads). I also use Fluffy Snow which works fantastic with Blended Roads. For the unique groundcover textures under the grass I use Folkvangr which is a grass mod that comes with unique groundcover textures as well.
Arnbjorn should be there on the ground Wounded in the quest "Cure for Madness" in front of Dawnstar Sanctuary. Will not that be a conflict with the Sack placement?
6:37 Player home mod to end all Player home mods eh? Pft that hole in a wall is no Clockwrork castle, or Kagrenacs instant Fortress. THE quintessential player home mods to END ALL player home mods.
@@SandGentleman How? CWC has gas powered lights, running heated water, beds for you and ALL of your followers, lovely architecture a working clock, an armory where you can place all of your most valued weapons and armors and treasures a greenhouse with a sprinkler system A vast alphabeticalized Library alchemy and enchanting and smithing stations with a sorting feature so you don't have to sort it all yourself, and other features. its vastly more civilized then living in a cave regardless of its supposed grandeur. CWC has the utility of being able to teleport you to any major hold, and back in an instant which is a major plus CWC makes you feel like a sophisticated High Noble. Kags fortress, while not as grand but just as useful you can literally place it where ever you want in the Tamriel world space, instead of it being in a static location you have to travel back to in order it use its facilities, honestly I'd rather just use an inn/apothecary/court wizards enchanting table or something in whatever town i'm in the have to travel back to some locked location like some kind of savage. (sorry for the long read)
@@freeasabird30 True, but all the technology is as much a downside as an upside, at least for me. I don't like *too* much technological development in my TES, personally ;)
Subscribed and keep up the content. Anyway to do a vampire lord mod videos. Haven’t played in years but I remember using a castle mod, secret dungeon with humans to feed on. Video made me want to see what’s new for a build like mine.
Three great videos with great content. I'm glad I stumbled across your channel while preparing for my next play-through. Wishing you well with growing your channel.
I just fell over your vid and I will say you hit it right on! Bent trees! OMG why do ppl not use that? The house mod, I'd never heard of before, but wowsa, I'm deffo gonna check that out! Best poh I've seen in a long time! Thanks for sharing your video and I'll be sure to check out the rest of your shares :)
Wait, I recognize Aemer's Refuge! An amazing roleplayer known as Bonhart used it as a main base for a custom modded story that he did, called Merlin's Story. (Sadly, he doesn't have that big of a channel & has gone largely unnoticed) I didn't know where he got it from until today as I had no idea what it was called. Don't know if the modded npc exists on the Nexus or not though, let alone how he placed them inside the custom home since they're not a follower but is more like a quest giver for that really cool story he did.
It was a well made video, I'll give you that. I'm just not really excited about any of these mods. The 1st tree one looks pretty ok, but the rest just aren't for me. I'll keep checking back to see what the subsequent vids have to offer though because, as I said, I like the vid itself, just thought the content could be better. Perhaps breaking mods down into different categories for each video and reflecting that in the titles would make it easier for those like me to find something that piques their interests. Just trying to help, since some other comments mention this being a new channel. Good luck bud! ✌️
My favorite Player Home is the Telvani Mushroom home and waterfall retreat. Waterfall retreat is absolutely nice. Together with the „leaps of faith“ mod, you even get a cinematric way of leaving 🤣
Late to comment, but here I go: this is a common misconception about the Nexus. The arrow pointing down doesn't show mod count, instead, it shows mod downloads. So there are thousands of mods and one billion (as of now) downloads there.
When you see that note that says "Shrek is love" and all that, you might think it's a reference to the movie about the ogre. It is in fact a reference to Batman Returns...
@@SandGentleman i got the hidden dark brotherhood entrances mod.....and now im ready to start the brotherhood quest line.....i cant find the bloody button anywhere.
Good video! Do you know of any mods that add an armory house to your game? I want to show off my collectible armors but knights rests is the closest I can find
Like as a whole separate house? The closest thing I can thing of is Legacy of the Dragonborn where you have a whole museum where you put your collectible armors and such.
Sand... Gentleman... interesting. So does the granularity of the soil determine how refined the person in question is? Is there a Gravel Brute? Pebble Folk? Would someone more noble be considered Dust Lord? This is fun :)
First time I've seen someone shout out Bent Pines 2, it really adds so much to the landscape. Great vid! Glad to be aboard the early gang getting to see the channel grow
Excellent video the commentary was on point and everything flows wonderfully. I'm very surprised you don't have more subs and im proud to be a new one. Keep up the awesome work man!
Given that that mountain range continues along the entire north coast essentially, I'd say they feel expansive enough, even if they aren't particularly tall.
Ancient Land is definitely the best option for the current offering of landmark mods, however I tried it in the past and many of the objects added are smaller objects that have been blown up in scale by the mod author, meaning they tend to look low quality up close and the distant models for most of the objects look absolutely horrendous since you're not meant to see them so large. It's a shame since the placement and variety of objects that the mod author chose definitely fit in well with the world and look very nice from an aesthetic point of view. Maybe I will make a mod like that one day with an effort to circumvent such issues.
It's what you make it. Ever just sit in an inn and read the books with the sounds of the tavern in the back? Consider it as a DM for your own adventure, set your own goals. But i can see that if you lack imagination you'd prefer Morrowind.
I think it's my tree mod, Happy Little Trees: www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/50961 Though you will need to regenerate your LOD with DynDOLOD for the trees to show up on the map, I believe.
Sadly, I don't own an Xbox so I wouldn't be able to tell you, you'd have to check in the Xbox mods section. But I'm pretty sure none of them are on PS4 as they all contain outside assets, as far as I can tell.
Hi, great video! Suscribed. Your npc's looks cool you mind telling what replacer you use? Also the mod that make the camera to close up on dialogue, thanks! :D
Thanks! NPC mod is Nordic Faces: www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/40658 The other mod is Alternate Conversation Camera: www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21220
I use Obsidian Weathers with Mythical ENB (with slightly lowered saturation) and importantly, DaVinci ReShade. If your computer can't run ENB you can just use DaVinci Reshade because it looks like an ENB, but it's got very low performance cost. That's what I used on my previous lower end graphics card.
No sorry, you'll have to check the individual mod pages. I haven't updated to Anniversary Edition as it will break tons of mods in my modlists and probably never will for that reason.
Only 2 showcases so far and they are way more informative than most out there, impressive to say the least! Love the fact you also show mods that add too much "jank" as the (bad) alternative
