TAG Heuer's new Carrera Glassbox should get a mention. I have the blue version (which I absolutely love) and I am looking to buy the new Panda dial version. It is what I've been asking for from the brand for many years: a mid-size wearable chronograph that revives the best of the Heuer vintage models while adding some contemporary flare to it. And it is just around £6,000
We need some Habring^2 no monopusher or split seconds on the list. I like it all the same but I agree with the other guy that Ice Blue Pitzmann is a beauty. Would be afraid of losing my hand down the town though lmao.
Also, when you talk about chronographs , you should discuss whether they have a vertical clutch or a horizontal clutch. Vertical clutches allow you to run the chronograph hand as a seconds hand continuously without causing damage to the movement. This is a very important point.
Soooo….I’m rocking my 39 mm TAG HEUER CARRERA (the blue “Glass Box” -date @ 06:00) . Why you didn’t mention this 2023 Watch & Wonders star 🌟 makes me wonder……as always.
Fyi. Just bought a brand new box and papers included Parmigiani Metrographe chronograph 2019 under 6000 USD I think that’s good find ? for Parmigiani ? Hope u agree
Great job! I agree - the Omega Speedy white dial is beautiful. On my wrist right now is the Speedy Moonwatch hesalite. The Longines really is the bang for your buck leader - great job Harrison, as always!
@@kayceeare393 - I have not had any problems with scratching - and I do wear it frequently. I chose this one because it is the closest to the actual moon watch - and, I think the hesalite gives it a unique look from the side which is definitely a throwback to the original. Hope that halps!
Wearing my Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 Mint Green. Nice list of Chronos, love that Longines chrono both in bracelet and rubber. The Omega Speedy in white looks great too!
What do you think about the PItzmann III? It's a south Korean watch using the Seiko movement. But I feel its more of a watch for a price you spend on Tissot.
Mechanical Chronos, outside the ST19, are expensive. Nothing wrong with the Seiko speedtimer or the Stratton for a few hundred using Seiko VH63 mecca quartz I am wearing the Seiko LX Springdrive with the moss green dial in titanium
I really like the black bay chrono, I tried on at my AD. However I went with the BB58 gmt instead, will wait for Tudor to upgrade the clasp on the chrono
All good options Harrison (as always). That white dial Speedy is gorgeous, I have the old black dial 1863 manual wind that Like you I appreciate winding the watch manually for the days wear on the wrist. I'm also a whit dial fan for certain watches and have to agree with your view in the Tudor Black Bay Chrono panda dial. On my wrist today is my old Tag Heuer Monaco cal 12. Thanks for sharing.
Which idiot approved the date window for the PRX chrono? It basically just ruined the entire watch itself - sticking like a sore thumb on an otherwise beautiful watch 😵💫
You don’t have any Chrono in collection … just googling can give you a convincible ground to broadcast your insights? Only Paper work is not sufficient , Boy
The Speedy for me, by far in the list. Second would be the forgotten TAG Heuer Glassbox with its many cool variations. On the opposite, come on Tissot, what did you do with your PRX ? Ugly thick profile and one of the worst date integration ever.
I agree with you: this Tissot is awesome! I don't have problem with that ETA Valjoux, but I just want to know, is there any plastic parts in that movment, as there are in some powermatic calibers for example.
As I’m watching I know the speedy will be high on the list. Love the speedy but chose to go a bit different route when I bought my Zenith A385 Revival (on my wrist now).
I suppose the reason for not having an exhibition caseback is thickness, as mechanical chronos are pretty thick anyway it makes them hard to wear comfortably on smaller wristed ppl
I think the PRX Chrono is just a little to big for me, but i love it. I have tried one on and tried to buy it but Klarna bank did not let me buy it :(((((
These youtubers dont even realize how expensive watches are. Most of them collect seikos and gshocks and tissots because they know they are way overpriced
@itsacookie1 a large part of the hobby does celebrate traditional mechanisms, including me, but there are also people who are totally cool with quartz and still get a kick out of the looks of various cheaper watches. I personally have a 12k-ish Grand Seiko chronograph and a regular Seiko Speedtimer.
