my guess is that it feels more "organic" to not be right at 5pm + if EVERYONE else is posting at 5pm posting right after 5 would put your post at the top of the feed when some one logs into the app after work
Definitely Insta and run ads. + its under Meta umbrella that owns Facebook, so you can do one ad on both platforms or the same post. My ex gf owns 2 restaurants.
