Thank you very much for the great video. But you forgot one very important thing we have the number 1 middle public school in Florida, for gifted children, STEMM Academy and number 1 public high school in Florida, Colligate High School. Also we have a great (probably the best in the area) Louisiana style restaurant (Basil and Baxter), Locals, great restaurant/bar by the bay, Boathouse another great restaurant by the bay. We have Swift Creek, Blue Water Bay, etc. It is a perfect place for a family which is far from everything but near to all, 10 min drive. Last but not least it is very safe, and people are very friendly. Niceville is really the best place to live if you have family in our area.
As a Dane, the might go to join a cource on Eglin AFB for 6-7 months… What’s the best options for a stay? Would Niceville be a good place or should I opt for Destin or Fort Walton?
Hey @jahen65, thanks for watching! Depends on what’s important to you. Niceville and Fort Walton Beach will give you quick access to the base. However, staying in Fort Walton Beach and Destin will give you quicker access to things to do.
@@livingindestinfortwaltonbeach a kitchen and own laundry facilities is important to me… other than that I don’t have to many “demands”… of course it will be nice to have some restaurants, cafes or bars nearby… I’m also running several days a week so that also a priority to me 🙂 Videos like yours are a great help to get some feel of the area and opportunities 😊👍
@@jahen65 thanks! I’m glad people are enjoying them! Fort Walton Beach will be the best bang for your buck out of those 3. I’m a runner myself, you should be able to find some good routes pretty much anywhere in the Fort Walton Beach Area. Just know, that the areas in Mary Esther just west of Hurlburt field don’t connect with anything other than Hwy 98 and you don’t want to run on that road..
