I swear, when the wind is right I can smell the salt air from Tallahassee. I guess it comes up from our Nearby beachy area of St. Marks with the light house that's only 28 minutes from us. We used to go to Nossville all the time for Church conferences and that long street had bad accidents on it all the time. We went into a seafood place and heard a loud one outside.
I am between Jax and Orlando. I have family on that side of Florida kind of near destin but from what I've noticed, there really isn't much to do in the panhandle compared to the other part of Florida where the major cities are at
It wasn't that bad plenty to do theme parks everywhere theaters etc just lacked a good mall until you goto Pensacola but there was the Destin Commons though now it's just catering to old retired folks back then there were so many businesses there pre recession
@@mattman8822 Freeport is very nice, it’s a completely different atmosphere from the more beachy parts of the panhandle like Destin or Pensacola; very rural
