surprised to see Bub Carrington at 12 considering how high you were on him in the pre draft process and the fact that he ended up getting drafted a little higher than expected in the lottery in a great situation in Washington. Does he have bad stat translation because otherwise i would probably have him comfortably in the top 10 considering he seems to have a much higher ceiling than quite a few of the 5-10 ranked players due to his on ball creation.

I mean I dont really get reed sheppard at tier 1 at all, great skillset for cat but he could genuinly play less than 10 minutes a night next 2-3 seasons not to mention any other picks in the future or changes to add more vets, lets say you give him every one of aaron holidays minutes(about 16) alot of that was boosted with fred injury and amen not being ready yet, you were already hoping to give more of those minutes to amen to bring his 22 to more of 25-28, then theres tari eason coming back healthy which likely pushes guys like whitmore from mostly sf/pf to sf/sg and amen from sf/sg to sg/pg whitmore is also gonna want more minutes than last season considering how good he was per minute last year, possibly bring him more up to 22-23 maybe even more if he continutes to improve. Being extremely generous lets say the minutes distribution for 96 guard minutes is about- Fred(32) JG(28) Amen(23) dillon(3), This still only leaves reed with 10 minutes this not accounting for cam whitmore potentialy taking some with tari addition, Maybe next season you can begin to take away more fred minutes and those dillon minutes and put cam in a sf only role moving forward but at the same time amen still needs minutes and unless you bank on a JG trade which would be entirely contingent on what happened at the end of the season being a complete fluke and on no one of value coming back in a deal for JG(like a donovan mitchel which would be the absolute worst for reed), throughout the draft process these were the main reason I personally didnt understand reed as a fit with the rockets because although maybe in 4 year he could be this great guy next to amen with fred gone, do the rockets really have the time to see that pan out when their staring down the door of an alpy extension, possible jalen extension, next year possible tari and bari, the year after likely amen and cam(both of which are much better prospects than reed), then you have to ask dynasty wise whats the ceiling? is it more tyrece maxey or tj mcconnel, if its maxey then how does he get there, maxey when he came in had to get ahead of an aged out danny green seth curry who was traded the next year and ben simmons who didnt play the next year and was on his way out, he also gained hardens mentorship post simmons trade to help him improve further. Even though you dont value him nearly as much as a prospect, in the case of risacher who does he have to get ahead of, deandre hunter, same with dillingham whos behind an aging mike conley and may start by allstar break, matas on a bulls team whos on the brink of a rebuild. Even if you think all those players are so much worse as prospects in cat leagues than reed that they should still stay behind him I still wouldnt understand why reed is in the same tier as sarr considering sarr has a higher ceiling and an infinitely better situation and starts day 1 on a rebuild. Id agree completely with this if he went to the spurs or if reed got traded this year or before the offseason is over but on the rockets I just dont see it.

There is zero chance he is taken at 3 and plays under 10 minutes a game for one season let along multiple seasons. You draft for dynasty for long term;-5 years at least

@@LockedOnFantasyBasketball I guess we'll see, I mostly just don't see where the minutes come from this or next season or the outlook to start in 3-4 years baring injury or major shakeups to a rockets lineup that has no current reason to shake things up till they see how their pieces look in a play-in/playoff setting.

Cody had many injuries and at end of season was playing on a severely sprained ankle with ligament damage yet you judge his game and upside solely on season long numbers and fantasy stats translations. And Knecht u are just wrong about him as a player but he is old so understandable

U gonna bet against the upside of the underweight freshman who early on had an 11 game stretch (of 24) he averaged 16.5ppg on 61% FG% and 56% from 3 before several injuries slowed him down?Also played with two way older player who got drafted. You bet against his brother even after last year you argued that Jaden Ivey is a higher ceiling player. Betting against a Williams again is bold and I’m not sure why you are so down it’s ridiculous at every turn you have underrated his brother and now doing same for Cody for no logical reason. Knecht ranking is whatever I won’t complain it’s not serious just had to say something

@@jackrbuckley Never said I hated his videos but he is biased against certain players for silly reasons and I call it out is all. Most of the time when I’m not commenting I agree with what he says. He’s no softie or always complimentary of coaches and players so I don’t see the issue with questioning his rankings in comments he’s supposed to be a leading fantasy analyst this channel isn’t just for fun he can handle it
