That moment at the end of this video needs to go into the top moments of this year's show. Long monologue by Andy followed by a grunting "yeah" by Mike, and finished with hilarious dialogue about Jergens lotion. 😂😂 I laugh harder each time I watch it.
@@YourFavGinger206 the title doesn’t say quick question. it says rookie expectations as if they were gunna talk about rookie wideouts and the ballers expectations…click bait comes from all nowadays.
@@brvzi9093go listen to the dynasty podcast for more in depth analysis on rookies. Or past episodes. It was only part of the title too. Besides none of their titles are ever all of the episodes content. Click bait would be them mentioning it and then saying two words on it. You got 9 minutes. How much do you want on seven rookies?
@ronway7280 . Exactly 💯. Haven't seen an NFL snap, and they have been talking about them for the last month, but, let's spend most of an episode talking about them again...lol. I don't think so. Covered until Camp starts.
Who's the Liam Neeson Impersonator? That's pretty spot on. Getting the growl is easy, but getting the sound of his clear voice behind it too is downright art.
@@MrEasybreezey Jason does all the voices but Mike uses a tool to make the voice sound like the targeted actor. They also do Gandalf, Tom Cruise, and Optimus Prime and they are all pretty good.
The whole train track trade situation makes me think of Peanuts. Jason is Lucy with the football, just silently holding the ball for Charlie Brown, looking expectantly at him. Saying with her eyes, “Yes, I have hurt you before, but look: here is the ball. Do what feels right.”
I play in a league that rewards special teams' yardage, so that is actually super important for me to find out maybe a good segment for the future quick hitter on who is getting those extra points from the new rules
I drafted Antonio Brown in the 15th round in a league that got return yards (and Gronk in the 8th where everyone laughed b/c they didn't know who he was). I won the league, bought an AB jersey to wear at the next draft and it was a keeper league so I got to keep AB and Gronk at those picks for 2 more years.
Marvin Harrison reminds me of Bijan Robinson last year. Being drafted in the first round as a "can't miss" rookie. I want a discount if I pick a rookie and Harrison is being drafted at or near his ceiling.
@@Ryanh1010 Arthur Smith gets overly blamed. Bijan got 300 opportunities last year, yet everyone acts as though all he did was ride the bench. The issue is that everyone assumed he'd be getting 25+ touches every week, which is unrealistic, especially after the rookie year Tyler Algeier had.
I believe it's more than likely, by mid-season at the latest, that most HCs will choose to kick the ball through the endzone rather than drop it into the hands of the likes of Tyreek or Deebo. Take the 10 yards difference, trust your D rather than risk getting burned on a kickoff. Just my take.
I've been waiting for the Kick returns... to return. Our league gives 1 point per 25 return yards. For example last season Xavier Gibson would have gotten roughly 2 extra fantasy points per game from 830 return yards. We expect much more return yards this season. Maybe some guys get back to the 1500-2000 yard range. What will that look like? A 2000 yard season would net the player around 5 extra fantasy ppg. Most returners who go over 1500 yards are specialist, even defensive backs. Guys like Amendola, Dante Hall, Cribbs would get around 1500 per season (+3.75 fppg). I put this scoring system in place years ago to give our league more players to draft and to spice up the waiver wire. It is time tested. Goes back to the days of Jacoby " The Silver Bullet Ford" Ford!
QBs: Burrow, Jayden Daniels RBs: Breece, Zamir, McLaughlin, M lloyd WR: chase, g wilson, jamo, shaheed, burton TE; muthtith, sanders Parkinson I only have 2 picks next draft (both 2nd rounders) then I have Two firsts in 2026, and a full draft. Will my team compete this year or am I still a few seasons away?
I love currency as I used to collect it as a kid but I never get why people think $2 bills are worth considerably more than like $2. They were neat but common
You guys know I love the show but saying you'll talk about rookie WR expectations and then not mentioning Xavier Worthy, Addonai Mitchell, Ricky Pearsall or Roman Wilson. Disappointing....
As a Bills fan, why doesn't anyone believe in shakir? Go watch our last 3 or 4 games of our season and I thought he was clearly wr1 even over diggs! What am I missing?
Colin Cowherd has proven time and time again that if Skip Bayless wasn't on the payroll, Colin would be considered the king of bad takes. I still remember when he said Drew Lock would be MVP in his 2nd year. 🤡
@@jjohnson218 Have in Dynasty. But no that’s not what I’m saying…I’m grabbing Garrett Wilson,Drake London, Nico Collin’s, Brandon Aiyuk,Devonta Smith,Jaylen Waddle, Chris Olave all over Marvin Harrison and Nabbers but yes I’d also grab Nabbers if they were back to back. Opportunity cost is a big thing. Drafting Marvin Harrison Jr at his ceiling scenario (a top 12 guy)in his rookie year is bad process.
Marvin Harrison Jr is an insanely talented prospect. I like him better than Ja'Marr Chase and he killed it his rookie year. I could see 90 receptions 1,600 yards 12 TDs in his outcome.
@@thedarkknight9153 I do not see that as possible in that offense in a rookie year. Hate to say it but it’s true. College prospects just need to adjust to the NFl unless they have an absolutely incredible offensive minded head coach and things fall into place for them like Puka Nucua had happen. That’s just not realistic as someone who projects and charts this stuff.
Here is the truth of it…Harrison is an incredible prospect but out of the big three from this year he is not as dynamic of a route runner, or as a ball carrier. He has the built up speed to win on routes down the field but his timing routes aren’t as good out of school. Nabbers has him beat in these regards and can fit into any offense. At times in college he miss tracked specific targets and used the wrong attack to win them. In the pro’s that technical lapse can lead between the difference of someone like Garrett Wilson and Someone like Gabe Davis. Now he is much more refined at technique than Gabe Davis is but the point still stands. He will still be awesome, but he is not some perfect prospect the likes of which we’ve never seen. Watch his drops from Ohio State and you’ll start to understand. Could he fix this…absolutely. Is he a bit cocky at his young also absolutely so I could see that taking a few years. His father also had these catch point technique lapses and had an incredible career but never fixed them. It reminds me of Terry Mclauren. In his releases in college he has some wasted movements against press man coverage early on he’s struggle a bit more than people might expect. That said that should be ironed out by mid season. Off Coverage he is immediately going to be on the elite side. All this to say I love Marv Jr. he just isn’t perfect and buying at the high end in redraft or Best Ball seems like a bad move to me. For his career he should be incredible and I love him in Dynasty.
Bald Guy didn’t go to The Fox Hole with the rest of the Ducers, he’d rather score brownie points. Plus, it was his turn to buy the next round of Vegas Bombs.
Literally anything would be better than the CPU picking on sleeper mock drafts. Super unrealistic in 1QB leagues u got mahomes and Josh Allen going mid 2nd - mid 3rd
I love how they said can’t have a Duecer bc they don’t know how to draft lol. Jason and Andy provide great content but they shh their pants every draft. My goodness, I wish my league drafted like them.
Trading Tank Dell is like a Black Bean burger. Where 100% of ground chick burgers are delicious, 90% of black bean burgers are terrible, not terrible for a burger, terrible, like 6% are good but not as good as chuck and like 4% are better than any chuck burgers you can get (hint: blackened seasoning on any kind of burger always works). Anyway I trade Aiden O'Connell and Tank Dell in a dynasty league and before you call that extraordinarily stupid with both players, it was for Jordan Love
Turkey taco meat is absolutely a great replacement. People do not notice if you don't tell them. I like to go half and half myself to balance health and the slight better flavor that the beef fat provides.
Re: Ladd McConky. A guy who never dominated his college team, much less his conference is NOW going to dominate his NFL team? Calling all stary eyed fanboys, wake up and look at the past to get an idea of the future.
You know its not a direct correlation right? Just cuz he didnt dominate the sec or georgia doesnt mean he couldnt. Coaching/usage/injuries/qb play etc all play roles. Just like wrs who dominate in college dont always dominate in the nfl.. not to mention ladds competition is qj, chark, and palmer.. not exactly a whose who of wrs
@@Robau1 again its not a direct correlation, nobody is saying hes gonna turn into cooper kupp. Could he take over the chargers room that has no proven wrs, ya probably he can if he stays healthy. Herbert will be the best qbs hes played with which can make a huge difference
No… McConky is not good… like everyone says he’s this amazing route runner, but he just looks good not great from what I watched… and he had the advantage of teams bracketing Bowers (the focus of that pass game) We know (and this was part of his draft analysis) he didn’t win a lot of 50/50 balls, had major issues with press coverage and he’s injury prone… Palmer has even said he expected to take the leadership role… I’ll take him in the 11th over McConky, a so so rookie…
@@Brandon_Lambert I usually just go with what makes the most sense and situation… like my take on Anthony Richardson, Pittman, Nabers and Henry… these are the players I disagree with the experts on, and Ladd… we will see…
I feel for Papa Josh, I started losing mine in my early to mid 20s too. I was in the Army and we were allowed to grow out our tops but the sides had to be shaved. I unfortunately could only grow the sides while the top was visually thinning. It sucked.
