1981 Slovenia had 34% inflation. Slovenia didn't exist at that time,it became an independent country in 1991.Author should check some basics about countries before doing the rest of informations.Croatia, the same.
In the past times I used to travel on my vacation to the Turkey. In 2008 I was impressed the course and stability of the new Turkish Lira (almost 1:1 to the USD parity). In 2013, well that wasn't improved but the selling price of US dollar was about two Turkish Lira for. Afrer years I think this time (maybe as the results of covid and the war in European area) is the worst especially for emerging markets currencies, but some o them (like for example Turkish Lira) are connected with the fail of monetary and economic policy. Nevertheless, I wish my Turkish friends a lot of luck and prosperity in their business. Good luck to the Turkish People!

Lemme explain how inflation does to our lives: Market prices get higher every month Everything is expansive Meat is a high class food that only people with good wage can eat around 8000-or more Vegetables are normal class food that only be eaten by people with a wage of 4000-or more tl Pasta and noodle is the food that people with low wage eates, low wage is around 3000-3800 tl Wich it is around 200 dollar (I deleted this one, its a dangerous topic) Also during covid, for the prisoners health the murderers, child abusers, woman abusers, animal murderers, serial killers, mafia memebers got relased but journalists didnt got relased. This rate are not correct. Turkey's inflation calculator company TUIK ( Turkiye statistics company) near with goverment and rate is influenced by government. independent company ENAG ( inflation research group) say inflation is % 176 from January 2022 to today. As a turkish citizen living in Türkiye, I trust to Enag inflation rate.
It was 1992-1993 but mostly last months off 1993...everyone used Deutsche marks..it was because off war and total Un sanctions+change off system in 1991 from socialism to capitalism..and all in same time
Slovenia did not exist as an independent country in the 1980s. In 1993 the inflation in Yugoslavia was among the biggest in the world history ever. This is not even mentioned.

Slovenia and Croatia were SRs of Yugoslavia,the record hyperinflation came from the "New Dinar" government project wich only made stats go insane when there was nothing actually happening and the new dinar wich were mass printed,20k(1986),50(1987),100k and 500k(1988),1 mil(1989) dinar bills were never used because people were confused with the bill and as expected the government revised the project and these dinar prints became useless.
