Update with the strap of this mask: Just got mine today (8/17/21) and the strap area has actually been moved down/forward. They have also added an extra piece of leather lined inside with the microfiber cloth so its between you and the strap. It sits now more on the chin and comfortable with the thoughtful cushion between.
I got a new version of the head helmet. The strap doesn't catch my chin. I had to change it as on the old version. Now the plastic clasp presses into the bone of the lower jaw. I'm thinking about changing to a Velcro strap.
Doesn’t the scale read 1 pound 8.2 ounces? That would make more sense. You said it feels a lot heavier than the Winning and that would make it about 9 ounces heavier.
The headgear with the bar that goes across the face seems perfect for me, I have really weak teeth so something that protects my mouth is great 😂. Thanks for the reviews man it's way better seeing your full opinion on video than just the companies description
Do you have any plans to test Topboxer's Japanese style cheek protector headguard? It's only available with their customs, but it'd be interesting to see how it compares to other headguards, considering its supposed to be similar to the Winning FG-2900.
Top Boxer Gladiator Mexican Style Headgear REVIEW- GREAT HEADGEAR AT UNBEATABLE PRICE! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--IqSE-70IZc.html
A beautiful headgear but looks so bulky. And a bit heavy. But for a heavyweight, might be a perfect headgear. For a lightweight like myself, seems too big.
Where should nose bar beat? I see people having nose bar on their moustasche area(like rival guerrero facesaver headgear) , so when they get hit, nose bar doesnt hit their nose and break it ? But brands like winning and sabas people put the nose bar just in front of their nose ?What is you opinion about it ?
Below the nose, around the upper lip or mouth area at a slight tilt upwards. When a punch lands the headgear will sink downwards and not make contact with your nose or face.
All of these face savers are the same. I have the ringside one and it is identical to this one.. and the Everlast one and all the other ones on the market.. but of course with minor nuances like a Velcro bottom vs a snap bottom etc.
I just started training, but have a bridge for my upper front teeth and a lower snap on denture. Will the face bar protect my delicate grill. I don't want to compete, but need to be able to defend myself.
Dude, i have a question, what are the best gloves you ever handled ? Except for dinardo that is just ridiculously expensive and does not matter how good it is
Dinardo isn’t the best, just because it costs a lot doesn’t mean so. Probably a tie between winning, fly, 1v1 PTE, and John Golomb in terms of construction and attention to detail
what doy you think is the best headgear in durability and protection? what do you think about the Hayabusa MMA Headgear | T3 Kanpeki MMA and Boxing Headgear , or Hayabusa T3 MMA Headgear? my men
What size is this? I ordered an L but had the same problem with my ears being too far to the front. The headgear was also tied all the way up at the back. I guess I just ordered a bigger size than I needed. As far as the chin strap goes I had the same issue, too far back for me as well.
Looking at the review again it definitely seems like this headgear is too big for you as well. I'm not sure if I should bite the bullet and order a smaller one hoping it would fit better or go with a different headgear. What would you recommend? I'd really hate it if I ordered a smaller one and the chin strap was even further back than this one.
I think Carlo just got a big headgear, my head circumference is 59cm, and my topboxer facesaver headgear suits me perfectly. And I do not have issue with the ear padding and chin strap.
@@louislee2188 could be. but if his head was bigger the ears would not be so much to the front, instead they be towards the back, no? same with chinstrap. if your head doesn't rest in the center of the headgear but to the front, the chinstrap would end up nearer your throat instead of farther. i'm still contemplating whether i should go with the M or switch to a different brand...
Looks like the company has made an adjustment for that complaint. They added cushion (leather lined with bit of foam and the cloth material inside) which makes it more comfy and no choking feeling.
Dude can you please help me with one question, I know that the rival guerrero facesaver isn't the best on the market but I have a really low nose so many headgears I have tried hit on my nose (Cleto reyes , etc) so would this have a lower or better nose protection than the rival? I already know that this one Is better on quality but my issue Is the nose and I always try to Fit It on the mustach area. (23.5 in head circumference)
