The season overall was pretty disappointing but the ending was perfect. There was no better way for them to end the show than both Dushane & Sully dying & I always knew they were gonna die. I love that we dont know who killed Sully because it doesnt really matter. "The streets killed him" type of thing it was genius. And shoutout to Kano man what an incredible actor he's become. How hes able to convey emotion just with his eyes & facial expressions is second to none. I hope he gets an award for this performance.

Season 3 (5) really showed that the writing was always the show's biggest issue. The show is great because it has great moments/scenes & the actors carry it but overall the writing is very inconsistent. Thats why there are so many unresolved issues & questionable decisions. Theres also way too much major things happening off-screen that are just mentioned in passing & are easy to miss it makes the show kind of hard to follow. I also feel like they shouldve tied the show together with Summerhouse better. I understand they had to make it so new viewers didnt HAVE to go back & watch the old series but just completely omitting it wasnt the right decision. The fact that we never even get to know why Sully went to prison & Dushane was hiding in Jamaica says a lot about how lazy the writing was at times.

The final season was rushed. Characters got murked shortly after saying `I love you’. I would have liked to see what happened to Dushanes money, the consequences for killing the new gang. Maybe they could have left either Dushane or Sully to write another day.

Absolutely. Those screaming "Rafe did it" are just lost. I get they like to think they've paid attention since Rafe is sly, but they seem to miss that if Rafe were going to kill Sully, he either would've done it after Dushane fleed to Jamaica and Sully was left on his own after season 2, or he would've returned in season when Jermaine was after Sully and finished the job.

Hard proof shows that it was her jacket and she spent the whole episode stressing over Sully and then suddenly becomes confident towards Becks telling her everything's gonna be alright. You're right about the point being it could've been anybody and it doesn't matter who did it.

😉NY caller know of Brickie lol and gave some interesting input alongside others.. Season 3 was simply way too rushed. Last season ever, should have been worthy of 8-10 episodes, with all arcs properly fleshed out. That said, Channel 4's Summerhouse was only 4 episodes a piece, but exceptionally well written and paced.. 🤔 Conclusion, Top Boy overall a top show, and enjoyed it for the most part, but unlike that masterpiece "The Wire," TB last season kinda let it down..

One thing nobody seems to mention, what, the FUCK was Jaq doing by violating the ting and snatching the food?? She’s all, “it’s too late for Lauren but not for the baby” so she Rips off 2 big gangsters drugs with, apparently, no plan whatsoever. Like what was she going to do with it?? It made no sense. I agree on dushane and the way he took the marigolds but left the frying pan. I was thinking exactly the same thing. My man who’s apparently managed to stay at the top for so long, just gives the most half assed wipe down of the surface, puts the bleach and rubber gloves in the bag , leaves the pan and cuts?? Nah.

The season was calm. I’m not sure what people expected, it’s a Netflix series not a documentary so it will be unrealistic at some point - just entertainment. Also it needed to end so Dushane and Sully had to die

The last season wasn’t particularly bad. But you can’t deny the fact that it was very rushed. Only 6 episodes. Many characters killed off to soon or didn’t get enough developed throughout the story. Many times the story or plot didn’t make sense. Actors often doing and saying things out of character. And generally a big missed opportunity for this amazing show.

My take on not seeing who it was and it being so abrupt was more about the meaning. By the end, Sully had that mant enemies it could've been any of them, so take your pick - and that is the moral of the story. If you move like that and in those circles in that world, you end up with more enemies than friends and it never ends well

I liked the arl fella in the summerhouse series where he gets shot up and the drugs taken and dushane tryna get the money back and they find the albos warehouse and plot on it, it's gone shit now
