No one realises Jamie killed Kit for his brothers. He didn't want to keep living in hiding and jeopardizing his brothers' safety with Dushane hunting for him. Also didn't want to pack up his family's lives and leave what his brothers were achieving. Jamie killed Kit for the better lives of his Brothers. It's a shame he underestimated Sully's ruthlessness.
As soon as this happened Jamie was as good as dead. If he didn't kill Kit then Dushane wouldn't see him as loyal and have Jamie killed. If he did kill Kit then Sully would kill him as now Jamie is a threat, if he can kill his best friend, what's to stop him from killing Sully or Dushane. Basically this was the end for Jamie, he couldn't win, he was always going to die from either Dushane or Sully.
Sully killed Jamie because Dushane said jamie is his exit plan. Sully said their plans were not “aligning” so like power where tommy didn’t want ghost to leave the game sully “removed” dushane’s exit plan. That and he already didn’t trust jamie after he heard he had “big plans” not to mention the headache jamie was to him in season 1. I don’t think sully killed jamie because he killed kit
Ats was also a member of the family and Jamie knew he was tricked into doing what he did. When he thought about it I think he knew Kit was a liability and had to go. He also put his family first. None of them wanted to leave and why should he have ruined his brother's lives because of Kit's fuck up.

Yeah I'll never understand those who still want to enter this life after watching shows like these or even hearing real life stories about the lives of drug dealers. All that money is pointless if you're paranoid 24/7 and losing lifelong friends and family members.

I didn't think I would enjoy a show like this but when my son told me watch with him and I started I couldn't stop. Unbelievable show amazing acting from these young people.
jamie is, hands down, the realest character in the entire show. even after ats fucked with him and his bros, put j's bros through all that shit, he still knew what kit and dexter did was not morally justifiable, because after all, ats was 14, a little man, a yute that had his whole life ahead of him. because jamie is real with his friends and fam he still wanted to save kit but had to lay him out for his bros' future. jamie was such a real one, fam, but karma was gonna get him for all the gang shit he did still
Kit wasn’t doing it simply because he was Jamie’s friend he did it because he didn’t like the fact that Ats betrayed Jamie to work for Dushane unknowingly! Same as Sully didn’t kill Jamie because he was Dushane’s friend he killed Jamie because of his history he didn’t like Jamie from the jump
Yeah but u have to take into account Ats was a little kid who got manipulated and exploited by the Summerhouse ones. They knew they could control him because he needed to be in the game to help his mother financially. Also because he was a way to get to Jamie directly which is why Dushane insisted on recruiting him. Jaq deliberately placed Ats into a position where he owed her and the only way to forgive the debt was to betray his closest friends older brother. He was truly sorry for what he done and he didn’t have a say in the matter whatsoever. Kit was not showing his loyalty by trying to kill Ats in his own home in front of his mother and hiring someone to “rough up” ats which lead to his death. He only killed Ats’ Killer because he didn’t want everyone to find out he got a little kid murdered. If Kit was really that loyal he would have ran it by Jamie first and we all know Jamie would’ve said no
Ultimately Ats' betrayal is what allowed Dushane to become top boy and put an end to the ZT's. Doubt Kit killed Ats for that nonsense about Steff, he just hates Dushane and doesn't like him being at the top, so got revenge on Ats for allowing it.

@@Xighor even so he's brother was about to do final exams to graduate and stef started having some teenage issues. Jamie noticed he can't just pretend nothing it's happening and leave with them. It's just the way they killed him was rushed cause he already killed kit. Could of flesh it out more next season even more this season but no time since 8 eps

Jamie is just a victim of not realizing his own potential and continuing to do big man business with amateurs. Leyton taking a pop at Sully without asking him was amateur. Kit gettin that guy to punch up Ats without running it by him was amateur. And none of it was Jamie’s fault, but Jamie is supposed to be the boss. Your crew is showing they don’t even respect you as that really. Sully honestly did the right thing, Jamie would have gotten himself, Sully and Dushane all killed eventually

Leyton wasn't really going against Jamie, he was still loyal to the original leader of the crew Modie. Wasn't really an amateur action per se, he had Jermaine there coaching him through it.

*Anybody else* feel like Season 3 ended - setting up an ENTIRELY different show? The police investigation, Ats having a bigger role after Kit tried to murder him and his mother, Dushane taking over London - most of this was all brushed over.
Jamie basically saw Ats as family. And because he was Stefan’s friend. I can understand from all perspectives: Kit did it for Jamie and because Ats betrayed Stefan & Jamie & Aaron, and at the same time, Ats was innocent, he was on the roads to help his mother because she was struggling with bills and all that and because she was gonna get deported, and at the same time Ats was naive, he may have not known what he was getting himself into but he didn’t think or understand the consequences of his actions. Which makes sense. Also you can understand why Stefan was broken and betrayed because Ats was his friend and he got him locked up, but at the same time, Ats had no idea there was gun in the bag and at the same time if he opened the bag, then Jamie and his bros wouldn’t have got locked up. Ats was just a kid, Dushane and Summerhouse basically took advantage of him, manipulated him in order take Jamie down. And the only reason Jamie killed kit not because Dushane told him too it was because he killed Stefan’s friend, and he did it to protect his brothers which makes sense. And I understand people are saying Jamie is a snake for killing Kit but he didn’t have a choice and Kit had it coming I know Ats did too but he didn’t deserve get stabbed he just wanted to help his mother because she was struggling. But I guess that’s how it is. That’s just how the game works I suppose.
Jamie was screwed either way. He lets Kit live, he’s gone behind Dushane’s back. He kills Kit, he’s proven Sully right that he’s not loyal to either side. Probably the worst situation they could’ve put him in

Jamie wasn't very smart here.. imo, him and Kit should have attempted to take out dushane and sully, that same day. They wouldn't have been expecting it, jamie could then have also took over the business. Instead he killed his day one and ended up dead anyway..

watching this again Spoiler….. Jamie had it coming what happened to him. He turned on his right hand, the main man that his back from Day 1. Regardless of the tension Sully and Dushane have amongst eachother, neither would kill the other just to move up the later.

I never understood how Jamie became so soft. After he left prison, it’s like him and his whole crew just fell off, and they all started working for Dushane, it makes no sense. What real gang is just gonna join up that easily with someone they were just trying to kill

Kit wasn’t wrong for doing what he did but he shouldn’t have done it or at least waited until Jamie was home from jail to come up with a better way to discipline ats for everything he did to stef sometimes helping someone is also hurting yourself in the long run this put Jamie in the worst position he could be in this was lose lose all the way for Jamie
