My husband compliments me each time I wear Si. A girlfriend really enjoys the raspberry fragrance of Gucci guilty por femme (I think). It’s a burgundy bottle

That is like me and my niece each time I give her a perfume and stop by I am like what are you wearing and “ she will say this is the one you gave me “ like it’s crazy ! Saturday she stop by and she wore la belle and I was absolutely shocked how beautiful that smells on her !

I feel like I get compliments so rarely (my husband has allergies so I don’t wear any around him) but I have gotten a few on Mon Guerlain Intense, Libre EDP (original), and Vanilla 28. But I’ve tested a whole lot more than that with not a word. Sometimes I worry I’m bothering people and they’re just too polite to say anything. I know compliments aren’t the point but they are nice to get!

Sometimes I worry too! Especially around my friends & family since they are so vocal when I’m wearing something they do like. If they don’t say anything, I only hope they don’t smell it and not that I’m bothering them. I don’t get around too many strangers these days, I’ve become quite the homebody.

My husband says he can keep up because I use a different perfume everyday! 😂😂😂 Pas ce soir is my sotd and I really love this one. I have to spray every 4-5 hours but I don’t mind, I like the opening. Have a great week! ❤

Love this video. I don’t seek compliments when choosing a perfume. But I didn’t realize how much I got used to it I guess! Since having my second baby, my nose has changed so much, and along with it, I just don’t wear the same perfumes. I really enjoy musky, woody, “lotiony” and your-skin-but-better like scents; lots of Narciso Rodriguez, Sonic Flower by Room 1015, Patchouli Tentacion by Bvlgari…I could go on. But also, the compliments stopped! Which is fine. I don’t wear gourmands anymore. I’ve also realize though that, more than ever, I wear perfume for me. I am the one complimenting myself by feeling my prettiest and best in those scents 🥰

Thank you! 🥰 One of my love languages is words of affirmation so I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy receiving compliments 🤭 but of course I wear perfumes for me. I also try my hardest not to annoy people with my more polarizing perfumes, so I tend to enjoy those at home, which working from home puts me there about 85 percent of the time now, lol.

I love how sparkly your sweater is 🤩🤩🤩 and I loved how you pointed out how a fragrance smells like on someone else even though you passed on it, that happens to me with my mom all the time. She will walk past me wearing a perfume I gave her because I didn’t like it on myself and she always makes me want to try it again because they smell amazinggggg on her! 😩😝 Happy New Year Love! Xoxo

Hmm I guess compliments that stood out 2023 were: 1. Burberry Her Elixir by my Nigerian Uber driver who joked that he may have to kidnap me 😅 but he was cool because we ended up talking about fragrances. 2. Donna Born in Roma Intense by a date. I have worn others before that didn’t get a comment. 3. Rolling in Love by a date. 4. Lira, layered with something else I can’t remember, by a date. Stopped them in their tracks lol. 5. Aerin Amber Musk by my sister who rarely compliments my fragrance. We were driving and she turned and said I smelled really good lol.

The only perfume I get compliments consistently from men and women is Valentino Donna born in Romo intense, I really believe your right everyone’s body chemistry makes perfumes smell different on them.
