Hi Atharva… One thing I have to tell you and I guess you have already pointed it out is: you should secure your future first before getting into business. If you really want to be a businessman then now onwards every step you take should be with the goal of learning something for your business. CFA will definitely give you an in-depth knowledge about finance but not too much about the stock market as such…So if stock market is your ultimate goal then maybe CFA will not be the exact path. But if getting deep in finance field is your goal then CFA is great. Also CFA will really teach you to have an analytical mindset that will be great for your business. I would say Take your time you’ve just passed your 10th so you have time with you and you should use it to understand your likes and dislikes more and more. Who knows in the next 2 years you discover a new side to yourself…But you’ll only be able to understand this or accept it if you have an open mind. So for 2 years let yourself explore and learn as much as possible.

Hi Tanishka I am a master's graduate in economics. I wish to be an entrepreneur in the future. However, I have not received any knowledge from my college that supports my dream. So I look to do courses or certifications or gain some experience to know about different aspects of businesses. I understand CFA deals only with the financial aspects of businesses but do you think CFA would be beneficial for me? Could you also suggest me some alternative ways on how I should try to achieve my dream.

Hello, To answer your first question on will CFA help you…Yes it can as it really teaches on to switch on their analytical mindset and logical reasoning which is very crucial for an entrepreneur. However I would say go for this carefully as a lot of time and dedication will also be required. In my opinion the best thing you can do is be open to all fields…As an entrepreneur you have to be a jack of all trades and be smart enough to find the masters in it. So either do short term internships and gain hands on experience in dodge net fields like marketing, finance, HR…it’s honestly an open slate for you because your dream is not limited to a role 🙌🏻 Wishing you all the luck and success 🧿

How much work experience is necessary in finance domain to go abroad
@tanishka3338
@tanishka3338 Месяц назад
No actual number is specified…The point is if you have prior experience it gets more easy to move out either through internal transfer or even if you apply directly you’ll have a higher chance to get the job cuz they will think you know things so it’s worth investing that amount on you. So the more experience the higher the chance

@tanishka3338
@tanishka3338 Месяц назад
The main goal will be portfolio management, advisory type roles but to start with you may need to start from very small steps like compliance, operations, etc and then pull yourself up the ladder
