TOP EASTSIDE DOGZ vs LIONZ OF ZION | EVOLUTION 2011 

hmm not a fan of these type of battles, there isn't much expression, everyone is in such a rush to hit the floor and throw out these moves that half the time end up in a worm. Dj is partly responsible too I'm not saying beats were wack but give the bboys something to 'feel'. It's just moves moves moves.

Domkey killed it. It looked like LOZ only had 5 bboys going in while TEDogz had someone new go in every round.. Toyz went in like 3 times, I thought Domkey and Napalm would've go in some more.

dude at 4;15!!! now thats bboyin.. he aint toppin in once spot, he is 3d in his dance, by means; he tops, goes down breaks it down, comes back up tops around, goes back down, this way that way, all musical all bboy.. its less thought-out and set-style, and more just breakin out.. very cool, very mature and a lost style of bboyin to mainstream.. very cool!!! props to him

compared to the battles before this, LOZ wasn't on their best. but they still ripped it. it was definitely a good battle, but east side dogz pulled out better sets. much respect to both crews.

@HaivoHaivo They were part of the win. Not what decided it. They don't have to lead anyone, Goofball, and Napalm killed just as much as those three. If fact, Napalm killed harder than Isaiah here, and at least as much as Domkey. They lead their crew in battle experience but that's it, and Napalm and Goofball also have extensive experience. The other members are coming up but they ripped it as well. Only reason they lost because everyone was a bit tired, and off.

@NateZen I've seen enough people do it in other dances that makes me think otherwise on the bite front. I've seen people do stuff like that in Hispanic dances on TV before I wanna say merengue but, I'm not so well versed in knowing the differences between in dance.

@toyzofzion Don't listen to @elfpballer6, i mean i just watched his "trailer" seeing how he has maybe 4 moves max shows how much he even knows about bboying. Calling you a biter is like calling someone out for doin a baby freeze. What an amateur.

@EnigmaticElement Your telling me those 3 bboys weren't the deciding factors in all the battles they won? Everyone in their crew earned their props ya true, thats why I respect both crews. But come on, they lead their crew hard.

@unamsaying Yeah actually I think that is a bite too. First time I seen someone do that was Mickey from Maximum crew couple years back.

If this was the case of who had a more interesting a creative show LOZ would take it anyday. They weren't at top form though. If they were this battle would have gone much differently.

@russianYoshaaaaa As part of routines for the most part though. Toyz tends to rep LOZ in crew, and 3v3 battles a lot so he would be part a lot of routines versus the rest of the crew.

@HaivoHaivo They are staples if only because they are on the international stage more. Regardless, of that they don't have to carry anybody. Everyone held their own.

LOZ for me, I can see where the judges were coming from with their decision(s) - Top Nine/East Side BBoys/Def Dogs were definitely on point with their rounds, but I dont really feel like they gelled till towards the end of the battle. I feel like LOZ slowed down a bit, but I think they had enough during the 12 minutes to put them over the top. - to each his own. On a side note - full respect to LOZ for using one crew- they could have easily scooped up a few ringers.

Toyz had to go out a lot of times, if LoZ wanted any chance of winning they had to bring out Toyz, Domkey, and Isaiah out more often then their other crew mates. They carried their crew hard. Top East Side Dogs killed it too. Mad respect for both crews.
