So here are some interesting concepts :
As you can see in the video the attributes that I start training with are the defensive ones .. specially POSITIONING (this is the most important attribute in a mc) because once this reaches 180% maintenance of positioning is impossible and you will lose a 20% each season from that point ... so better start at 340% to have a balanced player by the time it’s about to retire ... same concept .. and second most important ... BRAVERY! If you have these 2 at 340% ... the rest comes easy .. in the 3rd place .. but way easier to train comes MARKING ... then TACKLING .. and this comes hand in hand with DRIBBLING ... so that’s the structure that you have to have in mind. The mc is trained defensively and maintained offensively! ... why? Because you can’t maintain the defensive values .. that’s why they have to start high ... and as you promote each season you maintain the percentage of the player by forcing more fitness, speed, creativity, shooting, passing .. very easy to do ! Now that we have the concepts ... let’s go to the drill sequence, and again ... I’m not saying there is a drill sequence that is fixed because each player has different values ... and not everyone has low gray attributes to follow this exactly or .. a mutant ! So take this sequence and adapt it to the values that you have in your player and use the 180 rule to do so ... here it goes, in order like this :
1) Video analysis to increase positioning (train at maximum with the 180 rule)
2) use your head (to continue to increase positioning, always using the 180 rule)
3) piggy in the middle .. this should suffice to get positioning to 340% ... (complete the drill using the 180 rule)
~by this point you should have positioning at 340% and bravery and tackling getting high .. so focus on bravery now
4) stop the attacker comes up next ... full drill to 180!
5) shuttle runs .. check if given the values that you have this gets you to 340% in bravery .. if not use also hurdle jumps
6) set-piece delivery ... get that marking to 340% ... go crazy until you reach this point. Forget about the 180 rule, all you want is 340% marking
7) 1-on-1 finishing ! this is so key. Here is all the tackling and dribbling you are gonna get .. for this reason don’t touch finishing or will regret it
AFTER THIS POINT ... YOU WILL HAVE THE BASIC SEQUENCE .. the rest comes very simple with gym, for fitness. Carioca with ladders for speed, shooting technique for shooting and fast counter attack for passing and creativity.
*things to consider .. the mc is the most difficult position to train so start with a fast trainer at 40% from auctions and from that point evaluate your own situation ... if you have a good decent player at 40% or a low level mutant (lvl3 for example) maybe get the defensive attributes to 280-320 instead of 340% to have a balanced player.
Now my player as you can see has mr and ml .. to have versatility in case I need a counter-formation
so to not have an effect on the training .. but under no circumstance train another white attribute unless you have a mutant lvl 16 ... it already comes with only 5 gray attributes .. don’t add DMC or AMC ... if I see an mc poorly trained from now on .. I will hunt you down 😜 Don’t get me started on this ... THIS player is key to give you possession in a game. You need to do this right .. YOU HAVE TO! I cannot stress how important it is to intercept passes and give good assistance to your players. REMEMBER POSSESSION‼️ Ideally train 2 mc .. you will be able to get away with a lot by doing just this.
