Hello Kayleigh. I got onto a Masters in Social work at Birmingham City University but unfortunately I am unable to start due to lack of funding. (student finance will only cover the cost of tuition but not living costs). Do you know of any scholarships or chairities available? I also have a gofundme to fundraise for my tuition. I do think that being part of a marginalised group trying to better myself within education it’s a bit unfair & ironic that funding is the thing to hold me back when as a social worker we are fighting for social justice for the oppressed & marginalised.

I am so sorry to hear this. I just checked and the funding I knew about can only be used once qualified so I am not sure. If I find out about anything I will let you know. I do think it seems unfair 😕

Hello. I have recently subscriber to your channel after i cleared my Interview for MA Social work in Straffordshire University. Visited some of your videos and it really cleared my concepts as i belong to a different background for my bachelor's. Can you guide me ahead Also. My course is for 2 years and we have 2 placement to complete . One is of 80 days and other one is 100 days. Do we get payed on such placement opportunities or is it volunteering? Also how is Straffordshire University for MA Social work? Do you have an opinion on this. Do reply . It would be great help. I am an international student applying for my Master's in Uk.

Hello. Great to hear you have subscribed and are finding the videos helpful! The placements are unpaid unfortunately. The good thing about the qualification though is you are 'job ready' on completion. I have not had involvement with the oversight so can't comment but best of luck with your studies 😁

Hello! I'm doing msc social work in Portsmouth University, currently on my 100 days. The placements are unpaid and please do be prepared to not do part time then because you will be 4 days on placement and 1 day in university (100days)
