The G5RV has a successor, ZS6BKW, basically the same antenna, slightly different measurements, matches on more bands. Otherwise, I agree on your choices. Antennas go in and out of fashion, EFHW are popular, but I prefer antennas that don't need an UNUN.

As far as performance is concerned I vote for the horizontal dipole for a couple reasons: First it almost always will have more gain than a vertical. Around 5 to 8 dB unless it’s very low. Second it has a broad pattern off the sides. So you get good gain off the sides. There is a reduction in gain off the ends, so you may want to point the ends in your least desired direction, but only if the dipole is high. More than one dipole can be connected in parallel for more than one band. Longer than a halfwave and you start getting more nulls and it takes very long wired to develop and significantly gain and only then it’s in narrow lobes. Just my 2 cents worth from 60 years on the air.

I like and support your choice of antennas in your top 5.

I would add Off Center Fed Dipole. Still needs about a 4:1 and 3 mounting points like a dipole but multibands very well.

A G5RV is not a dipole simply fed with ladder line. It also is feed with a very specific length of coax. If that coax isn't there, it's a doublet.

Good choices. I like the EFHW and the dipole for the beginner since they are easy to build and you don't need a tuner (my radio doesn't have an internal tuner).
